Battlefield: Bad Company

Its been off and on for me with bluetooth support. it works sometimes and then sometimes it doesn't. I'll be on tonight so hopefully we can team up and try this out.

It's so wonky right now that it's almost not even worth it. I might join in if we get a 4 man squad together though.
 
what do you mean by it being wonky? I have had no trouble playin online since I got the game.

and if everyone wants to pick a night we should start a cag night, or at least a mini cag night for this game I am enjoying it alot.

I was mostly talking about voicechat completely dropping out.

And yeah, in the last week or so it seems to be more stable. I haven't had any crashes or bad bouts of lag for a while.

We could maybe get a squad or two together...

We could maybe get a squad or two together...[/QUOTE]Don't worry, we have CAG games that don't even use voicechat (for some games). Right now with Warhawk, voice is constantly dropping out (It might be a firmware issue, since it's bad with Warhawk too right now).

Don't worry, as long as people are interested and a group of people want to get together, it will work. If someone really wants to push an official CAG night, just let me know and I'll help them (or they can start on their own).
 
well just let me know wat nights are good for you and we can meet up and other people can join us, im free every night usually except for cod4 and warhawk nights
 
I'll play! Mykee sent me a squad invite the other night but I missed him, unfortunately.

I'm around most midweek nights after 9:30-10:00 EST.
 
Well lets try to get a Mini-CAG night goin for Bad Company, I'm thinkin either 9PM on Mondays, or 10PM on wednesdays, I will be on both of those nights starting tonight so if you want to play send me a friend invite and i will drop you an invite if i see you on.

Also what exactly would you guys like to play during these nights? discuss!
 
i was just wondering how exactly would a cag night work? I think you might be limited to up to four squad invites, I might be wrong about that. I'm all for it but I'm on hit and miss throughout the week. Maybe a set night for we would work out, I would like to try it.
 
cant u make custom matches? i think that would work, ill worry about it when we get more then 4 people participating,

I've been playing online for about 2 weeks now and having fun with it. Normally I'll play anytime between 1-4pm and 3-5am on the weekdays since I work nights. Weekends are random for me. Feel free to add me and let me know you're from CAG so I can add you. I dont like getting random friend invites if I have no clue who you are.

O yeah to those who's been playing online...what rank? Currently I'm 13.
 
right now custom matches just let you send squad invites and i believe its up to 3 or 4 invites and you have to do them one at a time. I'm all for it but I'm hoping it opens up to more control so that you can set passwords and such.

I play randomly mostly probably be online tonight and I'll add people from this thread.

I'm ranked 25 and trying to get all patches and trophies with each class. I have to force myself to play as recon because of the fact that on each 12 man match there are at least 5 to 6 snipers and that just pisses me off.

I play as demo and specialist mostly now. It never fails, I'll spawn as specialist and tag some enemy vehicles but there will be no demos in the map.

My nephew plays with me alot so we team up, I get alot of kill assist by tagging enemy vehicles and he plays demo. thats the way to go.
 
Every since I found the ump that's all I've been using. Was a support fan, but the ump is so powerful to feel a little cheap at times. Up to rank 7, was actually surprised I was that high. Been thinking about trying the demo, especialy since I've seen the trick to destroy crates using the at mine a few times.
 
So far the main class I've been playing is support. I've been trying to play recon, but I'm more a run and gun type of player. It's satisfying to get a head shot from a far distance and binocular kill though.

Just don't be one of the guys that sets C4 after I've already set the charge. That pisses me off to no end :bomb:
 
i friend requested: primetime, jdioutkast and pyscho so maybe we could squad up sometime. I'll gladly play demo as long as you tag tanks and stuff.
 
I got on and jdioutkast was on, and he totally pwnd me!!! LOL, I scored about 800 points in the match but he killed me like 10 times. We actually won the match coming back from just starting out with 4 guys on the team against 8.

I'll try and get on tonight and send you a squad invite psyko.
 
I will be on tonite as well, and ya my team was doing pretty bad. Though that one guy one your team who kept sniping the gold box with his tank from a mile away was pretty damn annoying.

my nephew likes to do that but he wasn't on last night when we played. He got pissed cause we kept getting tk'd by the artillery guy so he stopped playing.

Right. If you catch me on before that, I'm probably playing with my friend so we can rank up, but I should be on Wed night.

My favorite moment was when we were defending the 2nd base at Harvest Day and only the crate by the creek was left. Some snipers had camped in the forest across the creek, so by the third time I got killed I was kinda pissed. I did a really wide flank and sliced 2 snipers right next to each other then shot another one further up the hill. Then I stole their tank :)

No prob man, I'll look for you.

snipers are annoying especially that duck guy that night. he would head shot me while i was running for cover. i would respawn and run for cover again, headshot. i finally spawned next to a tank got in and he bombed me when i was rolling around looking for him in the trees.
 
Is this game running bad for anyone else who is on multiplayer? I'm having big time lag problems today. First time this has happened since I got the game on Saturday.

the game has been randomly freezing for me as of late

Lol I think I know who you're talking about. I think he's rank 25 and MIGHT be in the top 50 on the boards. I got 2 tags from him a couple of nights ago.

You can do it by sending a PM to LinkinPrime or some other CAG mod and they'll do it. That's just my suggestion, up to you though.

so how did it go last night? sucks i got home late and didn't get to get on. had to call home and have my daughter do the firmware update for me.
 
How long is the firmware update taking you guys? Tried it Tuesday night, was stuck at 0%, cancelled it, and haven't tried since. Is it getting better?
