I just bought POP at BB a few hours ago and it's ringing up at 19.99 already. Go get 'em now guys!!

I have a somewhat unrelated question. If I buy something of BB.com using my Paypal account. Then I select in store pickup. How do I show them my 'credit card' when I pick it up? Do they know it was a Paypal payment? Please PM if you know.

Woo Hoo!!!! THUG, PoP, and Norrath for $15 with GGC. Oh man, I hope i'll have enough money. Some of the better ads I've seen in recent weeks. CAG should have some ideas on how to make money and how to make it fast. Thanks OP.
What?

"$4.99 Video Game Clearance: Get Them Before They're Gone"

Could they actually be restocking?
Interesting...
Highly doubtful. Games on clearance mean that's it, no more, zilch.

Anybody?

1. Xbox is a better DVD player than the PS2, the PS2 was my first DVD player, the XBox was my second.

2. No good deals for me this week, ATHF is way too expensive, but I'll get it anyway, along with NFL2K5.

Nothing to really get me excited enough to drive an hours ride to the mall. Question why do you post for example $19.99 each

Classic Super Mario Bros
Classic Zelda

When that isnt a deal? Its the price its always been.
I've already seen that the price dropped on Onimusha 3. I was hoping for ToS to go on sale, since I badly want that game right now.
You could trade in two of your games and use the $10 off coupon at EBGames to get it at 30 dollars....

Anyways, thanks Trust! I have a Target less than a block away from my house, so I might swing by and ask them about the rain check opportunity. I might also pick up PoP.... Awesome game, especially at that price.

Is TC posting only the 'deals', or everything in the ads [at least the game/dvd items]? While those games might be regular price at 19.99, they're in the ad 'for whatever reason] and that might be why TC posts it , for completeness.

Its short and simple fun. But we've seen it for $30 a couple times now in the 2 months its been out so i think we'll see it even cheaper. Surprising since its supposedly renting and selling very well. I'm waiting it out.

Im down for Full Spectrum Warrior and the DVD remote. I was wondering tho- can you system link FSW?

DAMN IT!

I think now would be the perfect chance to pick up Onimusha 3 seeing as how I can probably pick it up for about 30 dollars if not then a definited 35 dollars.

FSW looks like a good find too, these are some nifty sales

Dude... Millennium Season 1... $44.99... I am so there! :)

As far as NFL2k5... sorry, but I'm going to wait and see how Madden compares before deciding which one to buy. The price is tempting but if Madden gets better word of mouth then I would rather get that instead. Especially now that it supports XBox Live. :)

thats what i do 'cause thats what i do

but for a better "less asshole (or more asshole)" explanation....
if i don't post that, then ppl will say, "are there any deals on the classic super mario brothers"....to which i might say, "crap, i know i saw it, but i forget what the price was"....then i'll have to go through the ad and post the price....it saves a little bit of trouble....

also, why ask me? why don't you ask bb or cc why they put them in the sales ads when they're the price that they've always been?

also, it might be a reminder to those who use the GGC........example....a game that is always $19.99 might be in the ad and posted as $19.99 at best buy....while at circuit city, they have it for sale at $16.99....which is cheaper? best buy....'cuz with it being no less then $19.99, you can get it for $14.99

also, it might help out some of the ppl who use the "price-match plus 10% off the difference" policy that CC and BB offer....example....if best buy has the game for $19.99 and CC has it for $14.99....you can figure out in your head how much you're going to being saving and how much you're going to be paying for the game before you actually go to the store....

sorry if i sounded like an asshole...i just don't understand the complaint

The DVD playback kit is advertised for $20.

I'm sorry, but i am a noob.

I'm not too clear on the GGC - how can this allow you to get the DVD playback kit advertised for $20 at $15?

So if I buy a GGC worth $15, I can use that to get the GGC.

Please this is a simple enough question, don't just say "idiot noob just read that whole topic on it in the request cheap ass gaming deals forum"

I have read it, but I am a little fuzzy.

Do I need a coupon in addition to the GGC to get the DVD kit for $15 with the GGC?

Thanks, I'd appreciate an answer. If you don't want to answer in this topic you can PM me.

When you get a Best Buy Gamer's Gift Card it comes with a coupon good for $5 off any video game software or accesories priced $19.99 and up.

I think Madden will always have the better word of mouth. Madden is a sweet game, but you would be surprised about how many people just buy it blindly and never acknowledge that there are possibly other good football games out there. I personally plan on buying both of them, NFL2k5 right away because it is cheaper and then the price of Madden will drop after a while.

You didn't sound like an asshole to me. The topic says that you posted the ads for this week, and not just the "best" deals and I am not sure why people complain when you have done something as a service to other people. I appreciate you typing everything out as I don't have to go through all of the ads myself, so thank you

modium -
I have Norrath. (only thing I have bought at full price so far (other than spider-man (see below))... my brother in laws both got it so I did too when it was released.... hurt like the dickens to pay full price for a game, but I suppose we should do it every once in a while... especially for the good ones) and can fire it up if some CAGers are getting on.

I got Spiderman at full price, but am going to return it.. I was still trying to get through my backlog of games from the January CC sale, and now I have another slew of games to burn through. There is no reason not to wait until the price drops on Spidey.

Apologies for the stupid question, but the wording struck me as just vague enough that I have to ask. I'm reading that as Tales of Symphonia + Legend of Zelda: Four Swords + a Gamecube console for $120? Am I hallucinating, or just the last person here who doesn't have a gamecube? 'Cause that looks like the best deal present to me.
$25 for ATHF? What else is on it, 13 episodes of the show X 15 minutes or so each isn't that much.
Dunno if this was answered, but whatever. The episodes are 12 a piece, and there is 13 in this set. The supposed 'retail value' is $30 (I got it for $20 at Media Play). There is a lot of extras, including the SGC2C episode where ATHF originate, plus some more. Its definatly worth it, as any ATHF nut like myself would agree.

Oh, I also got Norrath for $20, now I just need the broadband adapter. And a router. And some ethernet cable. :?

Do you mean the Best Buy deal? I think that means $20 gift certificate, not a Gamecube for $20.

nein89: Apology accepted. ransom456 is correct, buy 2 of those games, get a $20 giftcard. Sorry for the letdown, the deal you thought it was would have been really sweet.
Curse my feeble grasp of common abbreviations. Ah well, thanks for the clarification.
Don't sweat it, they are ripe for cunfusion -- GC can mean Gamecube or Gift Card, BB can be Blockbuster or Best Buy, CC could mean credit card or Circuit City (here it is usually the latter), and PM can be private message or price match. Asking is the best way to gain knowledge, so you did the right thing.
