Still no magazine or welcome pack. Now if I changed to digital could I eventually change back to physical as I'd rather have it that way, but don't want to go through this shit every month.

Picked up a PS3 copy of KoA at Deerfield, IL location. Probably about 4-6 left. Did not check Xbox.

Was hoping the cashier would let me keep the coupon, but she was wise to it, and wrote VOID on the back. Oh well, can't complain. She did what she was supposed to do.

Happy with KoA for $10.

Grabbed a PC version of KOA out here in Pittsburgh, plenty left (helps they are still marked $59.99).

I didn't (and won't) have a copy of this months magazine (signed up early July), was no problem to have them scan a copy of the coupon from one of the store copies of the magazine.

Easy peasy.

I'm torn between Reckoning on PC or PS3. I can always trade back the PS3 version later on but this will probably be in my backlog for such a long time that the TIV will drop pretty low by then. Any benefit other than graphics with the PC version?

I went to a store that showed available for in store pick up right when they opened. They had no copies. The 3 copies they had were being held. I was also told that the game is being discontinued and that Best Buy will not be getting anymore copies.

You live right by me! In fact I worked at that store in the VHS department when it opened in 1995. Shame it's one of the stores closing down, that's such a high traffic area.

Bought the last copy of KoA for 360 and second to last copy for PS3 at the Hurst, TX store. Had 2-3 copies of the PC version. Also had plenty of copies of Tera and the Tera Collector's Edition for 47.99 (though I don't know if the coupon applies to it). Passed on Tera since I'm not too interested. It'll be a good deal if it works on the collector's edition though.

Thanks for the info, updated my post to prevent any misinformation.

Just picked up my Copy of KOA at my local store, Dedham MA with coupon. Too bad their all out of Tera tho.
I see the tin foil hats are out today.

Perhaps they are just trying to prevent el Hoardo. The point of the coupons is to move inventory, not hide them.

Also ended up buying a second magazine and another copy of Of for a friend.
You're doing it wrong. Of isn't supposed to be capitalized. ;)

There was only 1 PS3 copy at my local store, per the gaming sup. Gone by the time i got there @ 10:30.

Damn, they really need to stock up if they are gonna offer promotion.

BTW, BBY gaming sup say there will be a blowout sale starting next Sunday and also mention something about unlock/rewardzone members getting a special shopping day online.
Am I missing out on anything if I buy Fable 3 used?
Nothing notable. I think my new copy came with a dog potion and some dye or outfit downloads...so basically a special skin or two, but nothing that affects the game or the achievements.

Can't beat best buy. Walk out with a copy of KoA Ps3, Batman Begins steelbook and Dark Knight steelbook all for 20 bucks.

Had a scare, was looking for KoA in PS3 section not seeing it then a guy and his kid walk up to the featured section and he immediately picks up a game which I see is the KoA I was looking for. He is looking at it and talking to his kid in a different language and i'm frantically searching behind him and don't see anymore copies, he got the last copy. He starts to walk off then stops, looks at the game again and puts it back on the shelf and walks around corner. YOINK!! grabbed it and hauled tail to check out.
Hey are we able to buy amazon giftcards with bestbuy credit? I was going to trade in some games and get KOA but I don't really want anything else. Thank you.
Yeah, just buy the Amazon Kindle gift cards which work like a normal Amazon gift card. Or if you don't mind a $5.95 fee, you can also buy a Visa gift card. You can load as much as you want on it from $20 to $200.

Lmao. Poor kid, but good job. My BB didn't even have any copes of KoA for 360 a couple days ago, so I wasn't surprised they didn't have any today. Had about 6-8 copies for ps3, though. No biggie, just one of the advantages of having both consoles.
So no digital coupons huh? Lame.
does anyone do the digital copy? I'm wondering how this works. i know they email them to you, but how long until you get the email?

I'm thinking of switching to the digital version so I can get my coupons quicker.

Got my copy of Reckoning today, there was only two copies left.

For the used game coupon I got COD4 GOTY Edition for $4.50... heard the campaign was decent.

Hoping Tiger Woods is $5 after coupon at some point.

Best Buy in Florence AL had 4 ps3 copies of KoA when I left. However, they do not have any magazines yet. The video game worker checked and a store manager checked. I went ahead and bought it and will get an adjustment later

Probably DVD Trade-IN

For those that are interested... I was one of those that signed up for Unlocked late last month and went into BB to inquire about getting the July mag for free. I explained that I would not be getting my first mag in the mail till september and backed it up by showing them my @Gamer login profile. They $0 out the mag and gave it to me for free, but I assume YMMV.

Got to the SW Tucson location today about 1030 and grabbed what appeared to be the last copy of KoA for 360. I just checked the store locator and it says pick up in 7-10 days so apparently they will be getting more in stock

A fellow Tucsonan eh? Going to try the Broadway/ East side best buy shortly. At least we aren't competing as I only have a PS3 but cheers to a fellow CAG in my area!

I ended up having to go to two different Best Buy's today.
First one had a copy of Super 8 for $7.99 so I picked that up. I grabbed KOA: Reckoning but I couldn't find the magazine. I asked an associate who pointed me towards the 3 places that held 40+ of the old Mag that expired yesterday.
I then asked if they had the new one that started today so he checked in the back and couldn't find them and told me I was out of luck.

I then headed to Best Buy #2 and they did have the mag. I grabbed that and KOA, then while walking around on the phone I saw that they had All 3 Ice Age movies and Horton Hears a Who on Blue for $9.99 each and I decided to grab those as well.

I got to the register and put everything on the counter. Let the guy know I wanted to use a coupon in the mag and that I wanted to use two of my $5 gift certificates.

he rang everything up, applied my two coupons, ripped out the KOA coupon and used that as well.

Not till I just got home that I noticed he didn't scan the magazine.
So, I technically got KOA for free today counting my two RZ coupons.
I'm happy with that.

Oh you're from Modesto too cool. I might've saw you at the counter when I was talking to the manager earlier today. Xbox ran out so I'll pick it up some other time since I got all month >_

What a waste of money on movies...should've gotten the $10 steel books of Batman Begins, Dark Knight, Clash of the Titans w/ free Dark knight rises coupon, etc if you're paying that price...
