As a My Best Buy member, get $10 in reward certificates per game title you pre-order and purchase.
Eligible titles are available for :xb1: :ps4: :360: :ps3: :pc:.
 
What do I have to do to qualify for this offer?
If you are an eligible My Best Buy member, pre-order your copy of any of the qualifying titles in either the standard version or special edition for PS3, Xbox 360, Xbox One, PS4 or PC prior to their release date. Then you must purchase and pick up your pre-order within 7 days of street date. Please provide your member number at the time of pre-order and pickup. When you meet these requirements, you will receive 500 bonus points credited to your account within 15 days of purchase or game shipment.
 
Where can I pre-order and purchase the qualifying games to qualify for this offer?
You may pre-order and purchase any of the qualifying games in Best Buy stores or online at BestBuy.com. Please provide your member number at the time of pre-order and pickup.
 
Can I pre-order and purchase multiple copies of an eligible game and get multiple rewards?
No. There is a limit of one (1) award per My Best Buy member per game title.

Q: Can the 20% off Unlocked benefit be combined with a price match?
A: At the time of purchase, you would receive either the price match or 20% off. You would not be able to receive 20% off of a matched price. If Best Buy's price is lowered during the return/exchange period, the price will be matched to the lower price (upon request). My Best Buy Gamers Club Unlocked Members should receive the new price along with the 20% discount. This price match covers one price match per identical item per customer.

Preordered GTA V for in store pickup just now

Looking forward to playing it having never played the previous gen version (knew it would be ported to next gen so I held off.) Looks like it will probably be the highest rated PS4 game on Metacritic

 
Sorry - I'm sure that the answer is in this thread, but I'm short on time here. 

Does the GTA V pre-order come with a $10 bonus?  I see it listed in the poll above, but BBY.com doesn't mention it at all.  Thanks much.

Yes, I get that.  But on the actual product page, it lists 3 special offers, and the usual $10 for pre-ordering is not listed - just money off of 3 mos of XBL, etc.  

 
Did anyone get an email this morning about their Far Cry 4 preorder?  I got one saying that my in store pick up was delayed and that I could pick it up on 11/17 (aka Today...)  DId they break the street date?

You don't need to worry. GTA V definitely comes with the $10 in points--as long as it's listed in the link I posted, it's included in the promo.

 
Does anyone else on here get different amounts of reward pts (before the 500 bonus) based on if they placed an online order for a game vs. put the $5 down in store? 

 
ok, so I checked my best buy rewards page. THe transaction I made on 10/31 for COD AW preordered was cleared  and it shows up $0,00 dollars. It says is not pending. So I guess the bastards did not give me my 10 bucks certificate for pre-ordering it?

-_- the 15 days are from the day you picked it up so the 3rd at the earliest which gives them till tomorrow.

I also pre-order, but did not receive an email. Could it be cause your store is doing a midnight release?
 
just checked and my store shows online they are doing a midnight launch.... hmmm now the question do I go and get it it at midnight or not?

Quick (or not so quick) question: I pre-ordered FC4 quite a while ago, but when I recently got a $40 BB gift card I put it towards a new pre-order of Far Cry 4. I could have sworn I canceled the initial order, but I just got an e-mail from BB saying that both orders are ready for pick up tomorrow. My question is this--can I exchange one of the pre-orders for DA:I and still receive the $10 gift card for the FC4 pre-order?

You can only get one Bonus Cert per title. Even if you bought 50 copies of FarCry, you will only get 1 $10 cert.
 
Question: it's my understanding that you don't get points on games if you buy with a gift card right? Cause by MCC is just showing 500 points for the "victory can be preordered", but I actually put $5 in cash down on it so technically speaking shouldn't I have got 10 points from that? It may not seem like much but I'm only lacking a few points from 1000 so every point counts at this point lol

Do you remember when you preordered? Check that date, not the date you picked the game up.

Thanks for the info. I just realized that I accidentally canceled the bonus item, but not the actual game, which was why I am receiving two copies. Oh well, I'm hoping I don't have any issues with simply returning or exchanging it.

Since it's in store pick up you can skip picking up the one you paid for without the gift card. After a week of not getting picked up the order will be cancelled and the funds should get back to you a few days after that.

You'll still get the bonus points for preordering for the other order if you pick only that one up.

I just now pre ordered GTAV for the PS4, will I still get the $10? I can't find it listed in the special offers section of the GTAV details page

I'm glad I didn't listen to the emploemployees the other day. They all (3) told me both Dragon Age and LBP3 were in this promotion as well. I did put the $5 down, but may get it back because that irks me

Weird its not like there's a link in the OP or anything which clearly shows GTA V as one of the games included in the offer...man that would be nice.

Pretty sad you couldn't check the OP, or the read the same exact question that was answered 5 posts above yours.

You get the preorder bonus as long as you preorder the game prior to release date, and pick the game up within 7 days....for every game listed in the OP link. GTA 5 is on the list, so it gets the bonus.

 
Does anyone know the UPC number for the Xbox One version of GTAV? It seems to be the same at every other retailer but I get nothing back when I search it on BB's website.

 
Pretty regularly. I've been buying games new for the discounts for about a year and at least half of them have had this deal.

I've got so many points flowing in I've been paying half retail price on almost every game this year.

Gotta love gcu and $10 bonuses.

I'm in same boat. Kinda back and forth on far cry and gta. If I didn't have so many games right now it would be a no brainer. Still got Duty, Unity, Halo and also picked up dead rising a few weeks ago and haven't touched yet. Kinda wanna jump on one of the games just for the ten dollar cert but I just don't think I'd play them right now.

And with Geometry Wars 3 out next week I think I got plenty to play right now. but still debating
