I just ordered Condemned and Amped 3 for the advertised $18.99. The Outfit was showing $9.99 but was listed as "coming soon". DVD sales were also up.

Shipping sucks, but at least I don't have to worry about picking them up in the chaos tomorrow.

I bought 2 it has won an award for Peoples choice of 2006 I sure bet its worth it, i mean its cheaper than a normal printer and has a scanner.

Noob here...but does anyone know: Will they pull the "In Store" pick up items before they open or is it gonna be a wait and see type of thing. Do they give first dibs to the people actually in the B&M store first then if said item is left over maybe I'll get a confirmation that item is ready to be picked up? Thx in advance! :)

Snagged Amped for the 360, the Canon printer and the 250GB HD. Totally worth not having to deal with the idiots in store tomorrow.
 
Ended up picking up one of those canon photo printers. Would have gotten karaoke revolution as well but that added $7-$8 to my order... damn shipping

Just ordered Table Tennis, Condemned, Sudoku DS, Lionel DS, Pinball PSP, and a handful of DVDs for $110. :) Let's hope that these orders actually go through, and it just wasn't accidental.
 
On one of those pages it says they're giving out tickets for the items in the ad except the movies/games and little junk, at 4AM and you can buy them anytime before noon, so you can shop in peace, so if you're going you may want to get in line real early tonight since some of those things are limit 5 per store and whatnot.

I was kinda wondering that, too. I placed an order for in-store pickup (Memoirs of a Geisha, Office S1, Underworld Evolution, Munich and WOW 2007 for ~$35 after taxes), so hopefully they will be available. I don't mind as much if they are out of stock due to B&M first as long as I can eventually pick them up for that price in a week or two after restock.

Also, thanks for pointing out the Canon printer. Totally missed that one. Made another order to have it shipped (in-store pickup not available) for around $31 after shipping and taxes.
 
2 2GB cards for $50 shipped at OfficeMax.com. Thanks OP. I don't mess with MIR so this was a great plus. One less item for me to focus on tomorrow morning at BB. I wish more sites would do free shipping on orders.
 
What time are people going to Bestbuy to wait in line? I really want a Laptop , but I'm not sure what is a good time to go.

People I've talked to who camped doorbusters last year said 10pm is pretty much the cutoff to be guarenteed what you want.
 
I am going around 4-5pm. Seriously. I would rather spend a few more hours in line and be at the front than deal with the pandemonium that typically occurs at the cutoff point(s).

Watch yourself with the in-store pickup. I know all of the stores around here take all orders for BF that are in-store and mark them all as out-of-stock because they don't think it's fair for the folks that get there early to be there in person.

You might not even need to go in the store. Best Buy closes their return section and uses them for sales until noon. Since everyone is going to be busy, I dont know if they would have the time to go and grab the online orders off the shelves. If they sell out, then you get free shipping.

If it is like other Staples rebates, it is an "Easy Rebate." You go to their site enter information from your receipt and there is no need to mail anything in. They verify the information from your receipt info and then you get the check a few weeks later. I don't mind those rebates, but I hate any where you have to send anything in.

They will grab them before the store even opens... if they open at 5, some unlucky people have to be there at 2 or 3 am.

If they did decide to be assholes and mark them as out of stock, as someone else said, I'm going to be pretty damn pissed since these aren't doorbusters and are two day sales, so there is no reason I'd have to wait in line since 5 am.

I don't trust Bestbuy.com shipping at ALL since everything I've ordered there has gotten destroyed before it got to my house, since they use shitty packaging.
 
Well I tried to get an answer about the "In Store" Pick up from BB Customer Service Phone#. As per usual they kept asking me if I had a question about my order and after asking about 50 times if they would pull the items before the store would open and getting the run around I finally asked for a supervisor.

So after holding for 10 minutes the lady came back and stated they would. I asked what happen to the supervisor I requested. She stated this is what the manager/supervisor told her and then tried to hurry me off the phone. So I'll believe it when i see it! :bomb:
 
I'm going to go around 1 or 2 am to stand in line at BB. I am trying to get the $480 32 inch LCD TV and the $250 laptop. Dont know if I will be successful, but I will try.

what camcorder did you buy. I was looking at getting the one for 160 on sale but i never seen it listed on the site till now and it says sold out. Hopefully they will add it back after the update tomorrow or i can get my hands on one in the store (getting in line around 330am)

Alot of cool deals at BB this year but i passed on most (like condemned, it'll drop to $20 soon enough)
I did get Prison Break and Arrested Development for $35 shipped so i'm happy. To CC i go!
 
I'm trying to get the $199 22" Westinghouse LCD Monitor. It's not a "doorbuster". Will it be pointless for me to try to go at 5:00 sharp? How long will I have to wait in line, and do I have ANY chance at getting one?

As of 10 PM CST the lines at Best Buy are already 60+ people long.
 
My local best buy was on TV (Gaith for all my maryland CAGers) and i would bet rockville will be just as bad. I am praying that CC will be ok or i am boned.

Anyone know how to bypass the lock on in-store pickup?

I swapped out the Product ID and SKU and was able to order the Canon printer for $20 with in-store pickup.

I actually wanted it for The Outfit because I really don't want to deal with the doorbuster crowds just for a $10 game, but the buttons to add the game to your cart are gone when I do the switcheroo on this one and I can't deduce the link that sends it to your cart.

BB has some good DVDS for 4.99 Like Doom and others. They all say dubbed subtitle
