I am jealous of you that still have GCU. I only found out the day before they were killing it and never got a chance to stack more years on. Mine has been gone for more than a year.

I remember that last day we had to re-up. And my lazy fat ass stayed home knowing that. Been kicking myself ever since.

I want to rebuy and return some games I bought that have dropped in price. So far I returned Killer Queen Black and saved $9 and I plan on returning Shenmue 3 with Steelbook as I saved $20 on that. Should I be concerned that Best Buy tracks returns? There are a few more I could do, but I don't want to push it too far.

Just curious when GCU will finally expire for those who still have it?? Mine already expired a year ago.
Mine expired on the 11th, but I made sure to preorder alot of video games a month in advance so I will be good for upcoming year, but I do miss it alot

Still kind of salty about missing out on a few years of GCU. There was some kind of promotion where you donate some money to a veteran's thing and you get two years of GCU, but the codes they sent out were expired. Some time later they sent out new codes + an extra one via email.. but I never saw that email until those new codes were also expired.

I tried to talk to BB and the company that sent the codes but no luck; I should have gotten four years of GCU and got nothing.

My GCU expires on December 13. I’ll miss it. I’ll be preordering Cyberpunk 2077 as my final GCU hoorah. I decided against anything from the cyber Monday sale. I have too much in my backlog and they always get cheaper by the time I get to them.

Well I didn't got too many games and none that I really need to return and rebuy to get it cheaper with GCU. Zelda BotW, and Mario Odyssey I got at Target $30 each so still cheaper, and RE 2 Remake jump in price, and Spider-Man GotY is OOS. Unless I can get to a store and see if there are any copies left.

Edit- Now I'm still undecided about Diablo 3. Is like I do want to buy it, but still not sure if I have the time for it. The same with FF XV Royal Edition.

Nice, looks like waiting did pay off! Got Judgement, Medieval, Bloodstained, and Days Gone.. So much for my "no more backlog(s)" rule.. Bought waaaay too many games this year, think I'm set till 2021.. or at least till TLoU II, FFVII and Cyberpunk come out, lol.

GCU expired on my main account sometime in the spring, should have had another year added but after repeated attempts of trying to get CSRs to fix it but stopped trying years ago. Pokemon Shield/Sword preorder was suppose to be my last order, but apparently it "disappeared" from system and never even got an order confirm (did get a cashback clickthrough confirm from Rakuten though :???: )

Anyway I believe my alt has GC until 2020. Where can I check when it expires?

If you are logged in and head to https://www.bestbuy.com/loyalty/rewards/overview

Right under the "You've spent" bar you should see "My gamers club" with the date of expiration of your GCU.. Strange thing is I know this works on Chrome but for whatever reason it's not showing up on Firefox and all I get is a blank spot in that section.

GCU till April 2020. I have fever dreams about that impending day.

HMM Im thinking Sekiro will soon see a drop $20 pre GCU

Tempted to get Octopath Traveler, but I'm pretty certain I don't have enough free time to enjoy it.
It depends, I enjoy grindy RPGs, it's nice stress relief and the portability of the switch helps a lot so I can play before bed, at lunch, or the bathroom. I have plowed through 55 hours of it. I enjoy the combat system but the story doesn't do much for me

I tried to get a price adjustment on Shenmue, and was told flat out that they're not doing any price adjustments at all until these sales are over. Considering I was trying to match a Cyber Monday price, I'm totally out of luck.

I'm getting screwed on this game in ways that shouldn't even be possible.

Buy new one and return it with old receipt
That's what I was thinking about doing. But I threw away my receipt literally hours before we found out about this sale. I don't feel like dumpster diving in an apartment building trash can, and I have a feeling if I try to return one, they'll go by the more recent, cheaper price.

You bought under your BB account right? There's an option to send receive a paper, email, or both when you make a purchase in-store. I always have them email my receipt. Maybe check your email or BB account to see if the purchase and or receipt is in your order history.

I was able to have them return it and resell them to me. If they won't do that then just buy it and return it with your other receipt.

Thinking of picking up Guacamelee One Two Punch Collection for $15.99 after GCU, but I already spent way too much over the last week.

Guess I will have another day to decide.

Return/rebuy sounds like my best bet. I don't even feel like making another trip out there today, so I'll just return them tomorrow and go buy another copy right afterward. That way there won't be any questions raised.

For anyone debating picking up Bloodstained, I finished It today and loved it! Castlevania SotN is one of my all-time favorites, and Bloodstained does a great job capturing that feel. By the end of my 35 hour adventure, my character had grown into an unstoppable killing machine. Well worth the current sale price of $20/$16.

I actually went in and they honored it! Had 7 different orders to do returns and then repurchase with the same gift card but in the end got $54 back!

How do returns/rebuys work when you used reward certificates on an order? Got one that I’d like to return and rebuy to use the GCU discount and one that’s actually cheaper on the Eshop, but reward certificates were used on them. From what it looks like the reward certificates were kinda spread equally across the entire order, so if I were to return an item would I get that portion of the reward certificate back as well or do I just lose out on that amount?

I put several games in my cart and then got distracted. Days Gone and Uncharted Lost Legacy went OOS and no pick up nearby. Has anyone noticed if games have come back in stock after going OOS?

Only the greatest rpg in human history.
Agreed, but it sounds like the ports are less than stellar.

Keep checking, when I tried to order Yakuza 0, Yakuza 6, and Resident Evil 2 they were showing out of stock and none in store. Eventually Yakuza 0 and 6 came back for shipping, and RE2 came back for in-store pickup.

Where are you guys seeing your GCU expiration date?  I'm looking at my Rewards overview page but it's not listed (page where it mentions your elite progress bar for the year)

So weirdly all the Switch games in the $40 bracket are no longer on sale, when they definitely were a little earlier. Any idea what’s going on there?
