It pretty much is, but that's exactly what Just Dance has always been, a party game and nothing else. I bought it from the Sony Store for $10 to try it, played it, then sold it the next day cause I couldn't stand it. Still a good deal if you like the game, but try Everybody Dance if you want a Move music game that really works (and has a MUCH better songlist).

If you want a game that seriously tracks your dancing and want to feel challenged while you play it, then play Dance Central. If you really don't care about scoring and just want to jump in and "dance" to the music, then Just Dance will do fine. IMO, pass on JD and get DC instead.

On the 360 version, the Katy Perry songs are a download code. For Wii, the songs are actually on disc.

Really fun game that's easy to dance for casual non-gamers. Not anywhere near as complex or hardcore as Dance Central.

Anyone doing in-store pick-up, make sure they give you the Katy Perry version since BB started carrying the regular version of Just Dance 3 recently.
