Funny, I just finished up trying out some Kinect demos tonight using a borrowed Kinect before seeing this as the DoTD.

I didn't like JD3 at all, despite it having Let's Go To The Mall by Robin Sparkles.

I really enjoyed Rhythm Party (XBLA), it felt like an actual game that you can have fun with and reminded me a bit of Elite Beat Agents. You can dance like a ninja or a cat, or a ninja cat! I also highly enjoy the irony of it being possibly the only game in existence with the word "party" in the title that's strictly single-player only.

Why are you looking at her face when she's got a fault line coming out of that shirt?

That's Katy Perry? I've seen the animated GIF all over CAG and had no idea who that was. Of course, I probably don't know any of the songs or artists in these dance games . That's not to say I haven't heard the songs - I just wouldn't have any idea who sang them.

There's no such thing as DC3. There's JD3 and DC2.

Or perhaps... you're from the future.

I completely destroyed that post. It's also not called Dance Party, but rather Rhythm Party. Ninja Cat Dancing is still allowed, and works best when you actually meow during difficult moves. It's the sporktacular dance of the future.

That's by far one of the best gifs I've seen I on here. ;)

I sometimes feel hypnotized if I stare at it too long...and I usually do.

BIG AND JUICY!

Hoping for a nice deal for Sunday, perhaps more games for my unloved PS3 even though I've been playing Yakuza 4 on it and just got my copy of The Run today. Needs more love for the PS3 before Spider-Man comes out Tuesday for my 360.

i thought Rhythym Party was awful. Only like 20 songs to choose from and only maybe a quarter of those are actual songs. The effects while playing are kinda cool I guess but I just felt as if it didnt offer much. Of course it is an Arcade game. Yes...I downloaded the full game...I'm a sucker. And I regret doing it.
My sincerest apologies to you.
Did you see that documentary where they play recordings of her singing without electronic enhancement? Unholy.....
LOL and the part where she and family sold out their beliefs she they saw some money.

There was a local radio guy that used to be an agent in Europe for American groups, who said there is no way she would have a career without the "way she looks"
^ I think it's only 10 songs (+five 3-song DLC packs for 240 each) but I much more prefer unknown songs over radio hits. If there's a full retail dancing game that's just like this (ball style) I'd buy it immediately:

Highlights include:
"So Yeah!" at :14
Official in-game meow at 1:20
Epic Butterfly at 1:25
Sexy Rabbit fan at 1:36

Lol well its good I guess that someone likes the game.

What is this I don't even.

I actually have to trade in a wii copy of that Hannah Montana game. I bought it for $1 at a garage sale and I am going to dump it at BB to play for the games I am keeping.

What is this I don't even... know why I don't own that game already. Looks hilarious.

My mother just said that that looks like a game that pedophiles would put on to keep their "kids" occupied.

That seems scary accurate.

lol thats just one stage- the whole game doesn't look like that. also, its made by konami (same co that made the ddr games) so theoretically the cuteness and whatnot are to be expected.

le sigh.
I'm new to the DOTDs. How do we know which day they will have them? What time of the day do they start and are they online only? Thanks!
DotDs usually go live at 10:00PM to 10:30PM Pacific Time. We don't actually know what the deals will be for upcoming days unless a BBY insider spills the beans.

so bestbuy messed up and gave me a free copy of prince of persia for 360. ugh.
i dont think i can even trade this in anywhere for more than a dollar. so do i put this on like cagtrade or something or just give to a buddy of mine? lol

If you can't trade it in I would give it the friend. The game didn't cost you anything plus if your friend would like it then its a score for him.
I have a Bioshock 2 for 360 that I have from the CE since I picked it up from BB just for the CE items. I don't own a 360 so the game is useless to me.
Now its time to find that game a home since it has no trade in value.

Just a heads up for everyone so they don't get their hopes up. I looked at the list for the next couple Dotd's and they range from "are you kidding me?" to "shit"

Any video games that you might remember from the list?

6-26 - NDS - Americas test kitchen $2.99... 6-29 - Digital Download Call of duty elite $44.99 , thats the whole list unless they change their mind .

The America's Test Kitchen will be of interest to some people here. It already has a thread for the same price at Amazon, and we can conveniently grab it when we go in for Soul Calibur V and SSX. Thanks for posting.
Are you kidding me?
Best Buy probably ran out of stuff to clear out, plus the fact they need to save some good stuff for the @gamer mag subscribers. :)

Shit.
Whats the gamestop trade on value for that crappy kitchen game ? Hmmm i wonder
Don't bother--$0.40 as of 5/10. :\ The only worth that game has is the Club Nintendo code.

I'd be down for America's Test Kitchen for $3, but I decided to save 17% and buy it from Amazon new for $2.49 shipped instead. It's essentially Personal Trainer Cooking Part 2 but with more common recipes.

If you want it, hurry up, BLINQ only has 893 left in stock :)
