Same here the Genesis collection rang up for $20 in store. I just showed them the website price from my iphone and they pm'd it no problem. Can't wait to play some of these Genesis classics in HD!

We picked up a Mitsubishi 82742 82" 1080p 3D DLP tv for $1700 shipped. DLPs are considerably cheaper then the led or plasma counterparts, and instead of tossing i if the screen goes, the DLPs have a user replaceable lamp that sells usually for under $100 shipped. (Lamps usually last 2 years or so, but we plan on buying several lamp replacements once our warranty is up.)

Unfortunately, Mitsubishi has decided to move out of the consumer market, and as a result, prices on the DLPs is going up. For the same screen size, you can easily pay from $3000 up to $4000. The only real downside is they are not wall mountable, and are about 20" deep at the base. (On most TVs over 70", they recommend a floor stand anyway because of the weight.) The DLPs are also considerably lighter.... our old 50" plasma weighs about twice what our 82"er weighs.

Check Walt's or paul's online for the best shipped prices.

There are also several models.. make sure if you are shopping them you get this year's model, and also check to see what 3d glasses work with them as well, and if you need to buy an optional emitter.

(The 82742 has a built in IR emitter, and the PS3 3D glasses work perfectly with it, PLUS they are cheaper then most other 3D glasses, and are rechargible as well. They are also durable.. some people prefer lighter 3D glasses, but we wanted something that wouldn't bust in a few weeks.)

Weird, I picked up de Blob 2 from BBY on clearance a few months ago for $4.50, I would assume that most all the stores in my area are clear of them by now.

The Genesis collection is pretty sweet (one I would get if I had a PS3 / 360), though the only minor gripe I have with it is that they don't have Sonic 3 & Knuckles (the proper full lock-on game version), which Sonic Mega Collection has on PS2 and GCN.

Otherwise for the Shining Force and Phantasy Star series alone (not to mention Dynamite Headdy), that is well worth the $10.

Anyone ever deal with BB customer support over something like this, or should I just take my money elsewhere?

I've had an order for a sale item get cancelled while still showing as in stock, and customer service was very helpful and willing to honor the sale price the next day or so.

Only issue will be how long you have to wait on hold.

Same happened to me and I called them. She immediately said that they only have a certain amount of copies available at that price and that is why mine was canceled. So then I asked if I should do store pickup to avoid this and she said absolutely. I told her I only didn't do that because it had free shipping and had I known my order could have been canceled I would done that. And then she transferred my call and I talked to someone who let me do store pickup at the sale price. It took like 35 minutes. |

Thanks for sharing. Closest Best Buy is about 75 miles. Not worth the drive for a $10 game this time of year. I put my order in pretty damn early for a DotD. This puts Best Buy is at the bottom of my list. Oh well, $10 to put toward Steam / PSN sale games.
