I just told the girl that I paid $15, and today it's $5, and she put $10 back on my BB credit card. I didn't even have my receipt.
I've been very happy with Best Buy lately.

Went to the closest BBY by my house at opening and no PS3 copies, the gamer clerk check inventory and it showed 1 but we both couldn't find find it even in the back.

For anyone that wants Resistance 3 on Friday I suggest you should just do instore pick up now but wait til Friday to pick up.

Not that hot meaning this isn't some huge title or anything. Yes it's a decent franchise but still it's a racing game. These are disposable.

What pisses me off is I know that out of all the games sold during things like these a good 75% of them go to resellers. Slickdeals effect in full force with this deal it seems.

Luckily, I ordered one for in-store pickup before 2 AM ET and was ale to secure a copy. They were available in every store within 25 or so miles from me (according to the website) but now everyone is sold out.

Now I am contemplating getting Resistance 3 later this week....I tried the demo and it seemed fun enough for a ten dollar investment.

I don't mean to be a dick or anything, but people would be losing money by doing that.

Game + Tax = $5.34, as well as shipping for $1.50-$2 (we will assume that they would be going to BB for themselves anyways, so we will ignore gas + mileage to the store itself. But perhaps the post office would be another consideration)

Anyways, what I am saying is that you should factor some of those things into the deal otherwise you may not get many responses. Just trying to look out for you, that's all.

This is something that is very YMMV, as I said in a previous post I have had a manager refuse to sell me a DOTD deal for two different console platforms, as I play 360 and my brother PS3. Yet I've seen someone clear out a whole rack at another store, so I asked what the policy was for how many copies a person can buy at that store as someone walking out with 9 copies of a single game seems completely absurd to me. They told me that their official policy is 4 games per console platform, but they usually let people take more if they want. I told them I could understand 2 copies per platform perhaps, as people have family or friends that may want the game but cannot get there themselves... But someone buying like 9-10 copies for their "cousin" is clearly flipping them on eBay or craigslist.

Same here. i never had an issue retrieving a game, any game i wanted from the Memphis market. however, there's a new jackoff in town who bought all of kingdom of amalur and the run,, every copy. what makes it worse is that i coulda bought it this morning round 1 on pickup but i said meh.
