Is Frontline on disk or a DLC code? Also, are there certain versions of the PS3 MOH that don't include Frontline?
On disk but you still need to download it. I'm not sure if it's included with all copies or not.

he probably meant any blu-ray dotd this week, which i am also interested in.

I will try to update the OP with blu-ray DOTDs from now on since you guys have express interest in them. I will dedicate thread title space for video games first but if space permits I will list the blu-ray deals in the title, too.

If anybody has tips on future DOTDs for video games or blu-rays feel free to post them in the wikied OP. I will give credit for your post as always.

Oh and since I know ChunLiBarbie was waiting for news on this, I finally picked up my Init Media Cabinet the other day and finally assembled it last night.:D It's a pretty nice cabinet, except that one of the sets of rollers along the top of the one door didn't wanna pop out and lock in place, so one of the doors is rolling along only with the ones on the bottom and one set of those top rollers.

Not to mention that this thing musta been sitting in their warehouse for too long and the wood glue they provided in the package for the dowels to hold the sides into the base & top part of the shelf was dried out. So I ended up having to use some contact cement(ala Duco cement) in the holes for the dowels. Otherwise it's a hell of a cabinet for $22, but definitely NOT worth the original $139.99.
Congrats!:) My initial "shout out" was more of an "In yo face!" type deal. Glad you got 1!
My wheels seemed funny, at first, and I was wondering why they'd want the screws on top. I had it upside down.:whistle2:# After flipping it and fumbling with the doors, it's better, now.

I may try to have a second one transferred to the local store actually, since my family decided they wanted one for storage upstairs. Only problem is the next closest store with one in stock is over an hour away just like this last one was.

Yea, no. You have the highest post count in basically any major thread on this site. I don't think its a stretch to say you don't have much of a life, its kinda obvious.

The strange thing is how you go from just being socially awkward to littering your posts with smileys like a 12 year old girl who just found the internet.

What occupies the greater amount of life; responding to a thread or reading all the responses and finding out who had the most posts?

Also, trolling on a game deal forum? Dear Penthouse Forum!:applause:
Frontline hasn't aged well imo but $10 for 2 games is a deal in my book.
Opinions and such but man, I don't understand how anyone can feel that way. The campaign is easily better than 95% of shooters from this gen, and the level design is fantastic.

I haven't played Frontline, but it appears it is not available for purchase on PSN as a standalone game. Since it sounds like an HD remake, It seems like EA and Sony would have both wanted to put it on PSN if it was good enough to sell. Maybe I am misunderstanding and it is not an HD remake.

That being said, I traded my Xbox 360 version awhile ago and may grab the PS3 version to have the game again and try out Frontline. I actually enjoyed the MOH campaign (couldn't get into multiplayer).

Seconded. I loved MoH Frontline on PS2. The combat setups, the AI/animations, the atmosphere/music... makes me want to play it again now.

Getting impatient with my Looney Toons Blu. According to UPS, it was handed off to USPS last Thursday and was due to be here today, yet the USPS tracking # shows only electronic notification of the shipment. Ugh...

Frontline is NOT an HD remake, at least the version that's on the MOH disc isn't. It's actually a pretty ugly game even by PS2 standards.:whistle2:&

Agreed. One of my favorite shooters of last gen and would probably hold its own today. Absolutely incredible!

Um yea it is, Technically. It comes with trophies, widescreen, etc...

Great game. Excellent campaign and additive online multiplayer. I quite enjoyed it. Still playing it from time to time when I'm away from BF3.
Ugh! I just dont know whether to bite on MoH or not.
I would only consider buying it for Frontline HD. The actual game being sold is fucking atrocious, SP and MP. Literally one of the worst games i've ever played.

On the other hand i'll probably never play another game with the balls to play some Linkin Park while I destroy a city with missiles from the safety of a helicopter. The entire SP is borderline disgusting if you're not an inbred redneck that thinks every country in the middle east is 100% taliban.

lol you just made my decision a hole lot easier thanks for the info. Guess ill just spend those $10 and get MS points, so I can buy Dust: An Elysian Tail. Game looks good and from the reviews that have poured out already are giving the game high praises.

No problem. I don't mean to get worked up, but its seriously a pretty offensive game. I was floored when I saw it actually getting decent reviews with rarely even a mention of how over the top racist and cold it is.

I was really excited to have a new MOH, and especially a game that was supposedly going to treat the enemy and the US forces as real people. It was all BS. Aside from being completely pro American, its just poorly made, with invisible walls in every direction for most levels, and crazy glitches. The salute to our armed forces after the credits honestly made me sick to my stomach, and I am absolutely proud to be American. Just a very weird experience made for a extremely specific audience.

Some people seem to be unable to separate their perception of the game's politics from the gameplay. I played the SP, and while I remember one bad glitch, it certainly didn't qualify for "atrocious."

I don't remember Frontline being particularly warm and sensitive to the Nazis or the Germans in general, but I do remember it glorifying the role of the Allied forces - so I'm not sure why it doesn't qualify for the same criticism.

I particularly like how this sentence makes a sweeping generalization to condemn those that make sweeping generalizations:
"The entire SP is borderline disgusting if you're not an inbred redneck that thinks every country in the middle east is 100% taliban."

I actually wanted to play the mp for MOH only to play as an enemy combatant(aka Taliban) and run at my enemies while screaming Allahu Ackbar over my headset. But then again, I'm not exactly the most "PC" person out there.

Well said.

I enjoyed playing through MOH. Platinumed it fairly quick after it released but never went back to play it after that. Single player was quick and fairly well done. Really enjoyed the hardcore (or whatever they were called, i forgot) missions where you were up against the clock and had one life to do. That was tense gaming of the good kind.

Online played well enough but lacked variety. I remember getting my cruise missile and being stoked I got it out of the way. Worth the $10 playthrough imo.

I would have to disagree. I thought that the single player, though short (like most shooters) was pretty fun. Some of the sniping was pretty fun, and the multiplayer was pretty good as well (the mp was made by dice after all). I really liked the sound effects in the mp and the way that the killstreaks worked.

I can understand if you didn't want to play the game because you found it offensive, but some video games are just that ... offensive and it adds to the character of the game.

Get the fuck out with your assinine statements. The fact is most of our wars are with people in the Middle East for various reasons, one of which is that "they" hate the American way of life and kill Americans! Hello McFly!!

MoH was a decent SP campaign. It had a few glitches like any game I am sure, but I never ran across any personally.

MoH has been $10 plenty of times before. I just dont understand why Best Buy keeps wanting to try and sell games at this price and they just sit there, AKA Brutal Legend.

I was on the fence, but now i'm sold. Definitely getting this one. My wife/sister and I can play together. :)

I already played the single player on this awhile ago and don't recall shooting innocent civilians, etc. By your logic, anyone who plays Modern Warfare must hate Russians. It's a video game with bad guys - get over it.

I will say that I am 100% against any alien race and proud of it. This is the only reason I play Halo.
Um yea it is, Technically. It comes with trophies, widescreen, etc...
I am confused. Is it HD or not? If it's just stretched to widescreen, i'm not sure if I can stomach it (i've gotten too used to current gen graphics). If it's actually HD, that makes it much more appealing.
