Thanks for the heads up, credited you in the OP!
There's a white dual shock TM bundle? Now I'm interested!
Yeah I think there are 3 new bundles. I saw the white/TM one at BB as well as the others. The TM one is the only one that stood out to me.

I'm down with that controller bundle.

Thanks for the Intel.

Glad I held off on buying a boxed set on AWD for this long.

^I think it's exclusive to best buy, just like the killzone trilogy camo pack.
Thanks slow and htz. I wanted the Killzone trilogy but could not bear with the camo color, just doesn't go with the furniture. But a white one, hell yes.

It reminds me of the dualshock 1 controllers back in the day on PS1. Except I think the sticks and buttons were gray instead of black. I want one.

Street Fighter 25th Anniversary Collector's Set $79.00

Ugh, that thing is so damn tempting, but I'm gonna pass. 60$ is the most I can see myself paying for it, and it seems to keep dropping (Atleast slowly)

i see this under $40 in 2013, i want it but $80 imo is over paying

also do want the TM white controller.

I think I'm gonna have to get the TM bundle, especially since I have a $10 Rewards GC. I wanted to get the LE version of Twisted Metal but that's too good a price to pass up.

Submitted the $80 price to Amazon but doubt they will match for the SF 25th Anniversary.

Amazon currently has is it for $115.
I may bite it for $49.99 or less. I really don't like the digital code ;)
Digital codes don't taste good. :)

twisted metal bundle seems like a good deal. The first combo pack with a game I don't already have, and a $40 game at that. I sense impending $20 price point for TM. Hopefully the 1 bad review on bestbuy about the white controller is a fluke and not indicative of poor quality for all white controllers. Sometimes the different colored plastics they use for each do seem to make a difference in feel.

And has anybody noticed malicious redirects coming from bestbuy's banner ads lately. I've gotten a few over the past few weeks. Positive they came from bestbuy because that was all that was open at the time and they happened as soon as I clicked on a product category.

Main reason I'm waiting is because PSN gave away SFIV AE, I already have 3rd Strike, and I already have all of the SFxTK DLC for buying the Vita version.

If you buy the Street Fighter 25th Anniversary Collector's Set for PS3, you also get

Street Fighter Alpha, Street Fighter Alpha 2, and Street Fighter Alpha 3 as PSone Classic titles; Street Fighter Alpha 3 Max as a PSP download, all downloadable content for Street Fighter III: Third Strike Online Edition, and lots of avatars (over 170).

$40 for these controller bundles is a great deal. I hate to pass this up but I already have 4 new ps3 controllers already. I haven't opened my Killzone bundle yet so maybe I'll return that and pick this up instead.

I'm tempted too, but considering I own everything in this pack besides SFxT and the DLC it's probably a bad idea to spend so much on a statue.

But if I WERE buying, I'd go with the PS3 version, as that comes with PSN vouchers for SF Alpha 1-3 (not mentioned in the descriptions on BB).

Alpha 3 is so good. But it was best on Sega Saturn (Zero 3). It had one of the coolest features ever in a street fighter game. 2 vs 1 (aka dramatic battle). That 4MB RAM card doing it's thing. TONS of fun.
Oh yeah and Capcom is evil, I don't trust that company, betray fans, on disc DLC, blah blah blah. No one cares.
well you care that's why you made the post right?

its no secret capcom have gone from a gamers company to a greedy bastards company, even some of the executives have said they have to rethink the way they sell DLC and other content so they do realize there are issues.

you know how dead rising series was made? one of their top level development had to hide the project till it was 50% because than capcom wouldn't be able to kill the project,

here is a fun facet: in last 3 years capcom have lost most of its great talent to either western publishers or they have formed their own studios.

so i am sure bunch of capcom fanboys are right while everyone else is wrong.

what's sad is capcom actually make some quality games but the way they conduct business have turned a lot of people off, capcom games are bought used by a large number of gamers so money won't go to capcom.

it was only last gen when capcom was a fan favorite publisher
Ugh! Can't decide if I want the Collectors Set!
wait this will be under $50 in 2013, price has been coming down on regular bases so if you can wait you could save $30-40 bucks more

More so I say that because it always gets brought up in EVERY thread involving a Capcom game. It never adds anything to a thread or anything informative so I thought I'd just get it out of the way.

I almost got on to the Fan Remix disc of the soundtrack(apparently over 400 songs were submitted),I wanted to buy this set before I found out what was going to be on the discs (Before it was released). But I felt bitter because there was one song in particular that I felt had no business getting on. It was sloppy, shallow and didn't even have an ending. So I didn't bother pre-ordering the set. (Well that, and Capcom said they would tell us/email us what they'd be doing with the remainder of the songs. 6+ months go by and not a god damn word)

But I digress,at this price point it may be a good excuse to get the set just for the official soundtracks.
Twisted Metal Dualshock bundle sounds like a great bundle. How's the game?

80 seems a bit much for the Street Fighter bundle. Especially since we got SFIV:AE for free on PSPlus.

Although if you asked Bison if you should get it, he'd definitely say:

Huge TM fan from back in the day and this was one of my most anticpated games of last year and I thought it was a hgue dissapointment. The game was too damn hard and that frustration made it hard to enjoy single player. Theres a very steep learning curve bc the controls arent the best and arent fully customizable so you have to stick with the limited settings they have. MP would be fun except this game has connection issues. Hard to find a game and when you do, theres a good chance it will drop. And of course once the game was released, the studio pretty much stopped supporting it. It seemed like it was doomed from the beginning

I already have Twisted Metal and a couple newer controllers, but I'm definitely jumping on that bundle deal. I'll sell my camo controller and Twisted Metal on Craigslist or something to offset the cost. I wanted the camo for a while, but now that I have it, I don't really care for it too much and I regret passing on the white one a while back.

Man. I have been wanting to get that SF set since it came out. Li-Ion shipping ban prevented it at the time though.
If it was coming out right now at that price or even a bit higher, I would jump on it immediately. But after being forced to wait to get it, I feel like I can wait longer. I've been putting off buying SSFIV:AE (the only game in the set I don't own) because I planned on getting this, so I don't know how long I can hold out. But I can wait some more.

Hmm, I thought that Killzone controller bundle at BF was a hot deal, but these $40 controller bundles seem to be a regular thing now.

Given that it was hard to ever find a DS3 for less than $30 in years past (and that was on BF only), do we think Sony has just cut their margins, or have they cost-reduced the DS3 and compromised the quality at the same time (Super Slim, anyone)?

Ps3 set has more crap. The only problem with waiting for another drop is that the digital codes might expire. anyone know the expiration for the digital ps3 codes?

I have no issues with the white controller. Looks awesome and works just as you would expect.

Received it as a gift a few years back.

Will definitely be in on this bundle.

I want an amazing deal to suddenly spring up before the weekend hits. Apparently I have a $5 cert expiring this Saturday and I'm just now aware of this.
I wish it included the street fighter ii v anime series.
It includes the entire series on Blu Ray.

From the product description:

Enjoy Street Fighter IV and Super Street Fighter IV anime movies, as well as all episodes of the Street Fighter animated series and Street Fighter II: The Animated Movie
I wonder how low can this can go. I wouldn't mind owning this set. Maybe it'll hit $20 like the Max Payne 3 CE. ;) One can dream.
Gamestop has them for 99.99 right now and they've been out for some time. I' think they'll possibly hit 50.00 or even below.
