When are they available?
It's random and can happen during any day of the week. Usually starts around 1:00 AM EST to 1:30 AM EST.

Is it the same price in store?
Yes.

Will Amazon price match?
It depends on if enough people alert them to the deal and if Best Buy still have stock available for shipping.

How long are these deals available?
For up to 24 hours or until the item sells out.

Will Best Buy price match a DotD item I already purchased?
No. All Deal of the Day products are of Limited Quantities and are excluded from the Best Buy Price Match Guarantee.
(Official policy of Best Buy but depending on the customer service rep handling the price match you might still be able to get it done.)

Anybody have opinions on this game? My dad used to play Gran Turismo all the time and has been itching for a racing game on the 360 at a decent price. He wasn't a huge fan of Forza.

Same here. Same here. I need to buy a Kinect someday because I have around 12 Kinect games and about 6 more games that are "Better With Kinect." I also have that Kinect Nyko Zoom camera lens.

If that were true then the Kinect games would be of you just standing in line unless you buy the Fast Pass DLC.

And I bought one I think mostly because its cheap and it has good reviews.

This might be a stupid question, but does anybody know if the getting the 500 points for spending $10 works once only, or if it can work multiple times?
 
I was only seeing Kinect Disneyland for 19.99 (would show up at 5.99 in search) in Firefox but as soon as I switched to IE I started seeing the 5.99 price.

I had a mystery $5 RZ Cert expiring in a week (no explanation of where it came from, only good for 1-2 weeks?) so I used it.

i assume you dont need the app to get this deal ? im thinking of picking up god of war on wendsday instead of tommorow. that way i can still get the game within the 5 day time limit so i can get the 20$ rz coupon and i can get the 500 points (aka 10 more bucks) from this promo mentioned here !

as for this dotd ive been looking for a cheap filler game to go with my spec ops the line and dbz kinect copies so i can complete a 3/10 trade in at gamestop and this kinect disney game should do the trick :D

Yeah, it's apparently not a time zone/change issue (as I thought earlier) but some other effup on Best Buy's part - that's one area where they do show some innovation.

Wasn't able to get the deal price in either Chrome or IE, but it worked on the mobile app.

I doubt you need the app.

As for the DotD game, yeah, looks like the game trades in for $7.50 before bonuses, so it's a good filler item.

Yep, took hours for the sale price to show up on the website, and when it did, by this morning it was unavailable for shipping or local store pickup. I was only able to get it via the mobile app last night.

Of course, their new policy of making their corporate employees work in the office as much as possible now will fix this, because it's impossible to review your code or test your site from anywhere but the office.
