When are they available?
It's random and can happen during any day of the week. Usually starts around 1:00 AM EST to 1:30 AM EST.

Is it the same price in store?
Yes.

Will Amazon price match?
It depends on if enough people alert them to the deal and if Best Buy still have stock available for shipping.

How long are these deals available?
For up to 24 hours or until the item sells out.

Will Best Buy price match a DotD item I already purchased?
No. All Deal of the Day products are of Limited Quantities and are excluded from the Best Buy Price Match Guarantee.
(Official policy of Best Buy but depending on the customer service rep handling the price match you might still be able to get it done.)

A majority of them are in store prices also (its supposed to be). The problem arises when the price isn't properly set in store as per their PM policy DotD are NOT PMable, even if it is BBY DotD.
 
Decent deal for Tiger. Should have picked up the Masters Edition on clearance at Target a few months ago for the same price, though.

Lucky. My Best Buy always errors the other way and gives me an older year sports game or vanilla version when I order GOTY. The worst offense was when I ordered Silent Hill HD Collection and they gave me the Silent Hill movie DVD.

Agreed, although I don't know how that would have happened. Best Buy scans the sku when you complete the pickup.

I had the same thing happen with Black Ops Declassified. When I went to pick up the game, they had the full bundle (including a Vita) waiting for me. I was honest about it, but it would have never gone through anyway because the cashier has to scan the item to complete the pickup.

I've done several pickups where the game I pick up was either in new condition (when I bought a used game) or an upgraded version of the game in question. BBY employees would rather fulfill the in-store pickup by giving the customer something, even if it's a newer version of the game, rather than say they couldn't find it and lose a sale.

Most likely the employees just pulled the wrong items. If they can't find it, they'll just send you an item can not be found email.

it happens, i ordered wwe 12 once for the $10 price, and when i went to the store to pick up. The employee gave me WWE13. It happens, but it is a "mistake", not the norm.

Yeah no doubt. Just gotta wait until tomorrow lol. Price is definitely $34.99 Because it showed $25 Savings. $25 off of $59.99 MSRP is $34.99. I just have to make sure if it's MLB or NBA. I looked at the list really fast and I just skimmed through it. So I'll take a better look at it tomorrow.

its was $14.99 during bestbuy black friday, and at amazon gaming gold box deals. Not really that much of a deal.

Not sure how anyone can say it isn't a good deal. It hasn't been cheaper and has only been this price on black friday and during a short live AZ Gold Box Deal.

The only problem is I would imagine most people have these games who have had a PS3 or Xbox 360 for any amount of significant time.

One of the few games I can put in and just mess around with for short periods of time.

Same. I dont understand the love for the game. Extremely boring gameplay and has the worst graphics (yes I know it is old now but even for its time the graphics were horrible). Im probably the only person who is not going to pick up GTA 5. Even if someone were to pay me to play it....not happening.

It took me 3 years to finish GTA 4, I kept taking breaks from it because I lost interest and found it too tedious.
