Unavailable in the Best Buys near me. Oh darn
yeah same for me.

happens a lot for nyc stores (all Manhattan and other boroughs as well as most stores shown listed) for these timed deals despite me seeing the sale game a week prior and most times still there when I check after the sale, and I know there weren't any new shipments on several year old games.

My order shipped this morning. The DLC and extra hard drive space from deleting my free copy from plus, as others have mentioned, are worth the $10.

Not really.. its a kids game, and came out like 6 months ago now. Plus thats not the bundle that included the Move, its just the basic game, which was only $25 I think.
This would be my bite price, but I must be the one and only guy on Earth that played LBP and thought, wow, this controls like a low-budget SNES platformer.
Nope, you're not alone. Total miss for me as well.
you can order it on the website
Yes, but you cant ship it to the nearest store to you if they are sold out

You can have it shipped to your home for free.
does amazon price match? i have credit there
Not on individual transactions, just price drops. Use the "tell us about a lower price" link on the relevant product page and they might do it.
I'm gonna print screen the deal. Bring it to walmart and see if they'll PM it. Doesn't hurt to try, right?
Pretty sure they only match either a sales ad or the actual site. Its not in the ad, and the sale will be over at midnight unless your planning to go tonight.
Sweet, I'll pick this one up tomorrow.
It won't be $9.99 tomorrow. That's why they're called deal of the day.

Unless you do an in-store pickup today, that is, then you can pick it up within a week.

I successfully priced match Target with a printed copy of the product webpage with the price. They didn't give me any problems. They had LBP2 in the place where there is a bunch of $20 games.
Okay CAGs, After being gone for a while I'm back with this week's gaming DOTD:

May 7th: PS3 Little Big Planet 2:Special Edition - $9.99 ($10 savings)
Thanks for the early heads up BTW.

Nope, this is wrong. Wal-mart's corporate office is VERY strict about this: There is to be ABSOLUTELY NO price-matching from any website whatsoever. It's a print ad for a local store or nothing at all. PMing from a website is a firable offense if caught, and if a manager is allowing it he'll be out the door the second corporate finds out, and even "blacklisted" so he can't apply at any other Wal-mart again.

So don't expect any PMing a DOTD at Wal-Mart. Target may be your best bet, but I don't even recall if they pricematch any website besides Amazon.

Actually they would have price matched it. Walmart doesn't need a ad to do a pricematch. You just have to tell them what the price is and what store so they can call and verify the price. And since the price was ringing up $9.99 in BB they would of matched it.

No, Wal Mart doesn't Price match

they Ad match has to be in the printed ads although you do not need to bring it with you.

Its essentially the same thing. You also do realize that all they do to check the price is to call the store and ask how much it is? So he is actually right.

As per policy they are only supposed to match what is in an ad, they do not just match the price of any product another store sells...per policy. Now some stores may do what they want, but if they follow the rules it needs to be in the ad.

BUT you don't need an ad, per Walmart's ad match policy. You can tell them it's in the ad, they cal and confirm the price and voila, a price match.

Does this really work?

Last time I tried to get a PM at Wal Mart they had to look it up in an ad, and non specified items were not included >.>

I don't buy much from Wal Mart anymore.

Got my two items in today :ps3: Dead Rising 2 CE and :ps3: Valkyria Chronicles. Dead Rising 2 CE box was really beat up and had the Warehouse stickers stuck on the back of the box. PITA to get the sticker completely removed without damaging anything. Other than the bad condition of the box everything was in there. Valkyria was complete and looked brand new.

On a side note Laser Shipping delivered it. For some reason Amazon packed these in a bubble mailer which I thought was silly considering the CE box.

And, as always, I used the old "sticker trick" to remove any excess residue.
Heh, all this talk of pricematching particulars reminded me of this old ad, a real blast from the past. Love how the kid is walking the mean streets of LA, on his way to get a Circuit City Pricematch PLUS+ on his Sony Walkman Sport from the kindly old Circuit City manager.

Yeah, Difference +10% I'll buy my stuff there!

Oh, wait, they went out of business...

Sears was the same way up until last year.

Damn, missed LBP2! I have to punish myself for this. That's it, I'm returning Bioshock Ulitmate Rapture Edition and ZOE HD. I have to remember to check CAG everyday. :)

No, it doesn't. Not at all. They say you don't need an ad because each Wal-mart is "supposed" to get several copies of the local paper every Sunday that includes all the ads. If you expect to get a price match from someplace, like say Fry's or some mom and pop shop, and there ad isn't in the local paper, Wal-Mart shouldn't PM it unless you bring in the ad yourself.
They are not supposed to be calling stores to get PMing. If they are doing that, well it's the same deal as PMing from a website. If they are caught, they are fired, no questions asked.

I am not sure about this, but I have been told that they also take the "big ads" (Toys R Us, K-Mart, Target, ect) and log certain sale prices in the computer. TBH that sounds a little too organized to be something Wal-Mart would do, but IDK.

I don't really go to Wal Mart unless I am getting something specific because they are the cheapest (which doesn't happen very often)
