Best Buy PSP game markdowns. YMMV.

I spent the morning in Douglasville and hit the Best Buy there for a few things. As I was browsing the games, I noticed a number of PSP titles marked down.

10.99
Bomberman
The Con
Gradius Collection
Lumines
Me & My Katamari
NBA Ballerz Rebound
NeoPets PetPet Adventure
Scooby Doo (something something... I wrote it down in my notebook but I can't read it)
Wipeout Pure

15.99
Field Commander
From Russia with Love
King Kong
Untold Legends

When the clerk rang up my games (Field Commander, Katamari) they didn't up at the sale price, but he seemed to know just what to do and adjusted them. (I'm guessing the BestBuy price sticker with the code 519 had something to do with it.)

I didn't see these listed in another thread, but if it's old news, just close the thread.
Nice. There are several I might pick up for that price. Plus using the 5 Dollar off coupon. :applause:
Yeah, I'm curious if this is across the country (no joy for you, Mike23) or just local.

But I also was wondering as I was checking out if I had printed up that $5 coupon if they would have honored it.
YMMV since the cashier had to adjust them. This is probably a clearance limited only to your store.
I tried finding most of these games on their website and couldn't find them. If that means anything, I don't know.

Just checked my receipt and it only shows the 15.99 and 10.99 prices, no markdowns or adjustments or anything. Again, I don't know if that's indicitave of anything, but thought I'd mention it.

If it was nationwide the cashier wouldn't have had to do anything and they would have automatically come up. The fact it had a sticker with a code on it also shows that its probably a store only thing. Was the price sticker hand drawn as well?

They aren't on the website because Best Buy as a whole stopped carrying them, and your BB decided to do a clearance of its own to just get them out of the store.

Those are FANTASTIC prices on some of those. Thanks!

How were they labeled? Like a sticker on the physical case?

Where they in with the other PSP games?

For those prices I'll try to get

Bomberman
Gradius Collection
Me & My Katamari
NeoPets PetPet Adventure (I guess this is some licensed thing, but it actually looked interesting)
Wipeout Pure
Field Commander

I went to B&N Booksellers store & stoped by BB for 30mins, I find all the PSP games on the list (except Gradius collection). Every single games rangup full price. I put it all back then head to customer service pricematch with CC for Commando, Predator 1 & 2.

Here's the pirce rangup :(
Bomberman $30
Gradius Collection (OOS & No longer carry it)
Lumines $20
Me & My Katamari $20
NeoPets PetPet Adventure $20
Wipeout Pure $20
Field Commander $30
Untold Legends $30
It's a YMMV situation. Great deals for you OP.
Apparently nobody bothered to read any of my posts.

Oh well, it's their gas and time.

^ Same thing happens with Walmart deals. Someone posts a good deal but it's almost always YMMV but a lot of people check anyway

No, the price sticker was the regular BB price sticker with the marked down price, but instead of the specific item codes (what is that in BB usually like seven numbers?) they just had "519."

They aren't on the website because Best Buy as a whole stopped carrying them, and your BB decided to do a clearance of its own to just get them out of the store.
Understood.
How were they labeled? Like a sticker on the physical case?

Where they in with the other PSP games?
Yes, a price sticker reflecting the marked down price on each game. And yes, they were in with the other PSP games.

EDIT: I've asked a mod to move this thread to either bragging rights or regional/southeast, as it doesn't really belong here.

Thanks for the update Guinaevere! I'll probably try my Best Buy tonight just for the heck of it, though mine never had any deals.
