Do I have to be a Reward Zone Gamers Club [Unlocked] member to qualify?
Yes, in order to qualify for the promotion customers must be a Reward Zone Gamers Club [Unlocked] member at the time the pre-order is picked up or shipped.

If I am not a member of the Reward Zone Gamers Club [Unlocked], how do I join?

Is this offer available for both in-store and BestBuy.com purchases?
Yes! Pre-orders and purchases placed both in-store and on BestBuy.com qualify.

Does it count on all editions of the game?
The offer is applicable on all Xbox 360 and PS3 versions of the game such as special editions, limited editions, collector’s editions, etc. (subject to availability). PC, Wii, or any other platform of any of the titles does not qualify as a purchase towards this promotion.

Can I purchase multiple of the same title and still qualify for the promotion?
You can only receive one $20 certificate for each individual title, regardless of version or platform.

There are twelve titles on this list. Can I get 12 $20 certificates if I pre-order and purchase all of them?
Yes! With this offer, members are eligible for up to 12,000 Bonus Reward Zone points if they pre-order and purchase all games.

How do I link my Reward Zone account to my BestBuy.com account to ensure my purchases are tracked?
Check out this handy post by Kyle-BBY with instructions on how to do so.

How long does this promotion run?
The promotion will end 7 days after the last game is released.

When will I get my certificates?
Reward Zone Gamers Club [Unlocked] members will receive their $20 certificate approximately 30 days from the date of pick up or shipping of each title as it is released.

Will I still receive my regular RZ points for making the purchases?
Yes, customers will still receive everyday points per the Reward Zone program rules.

Am I still eligible for all additional offers that might be available for the new games such as DLCs or free merchandise?
Yes, customers are still eligible for additional offers they may come available with these new releases.

If I return any of the games, will I still be eligible?
Any game returned will be disqualified for that title’s $20 certificate offer.

If I pre-order and/or purchase any of the above listed games using a Best Buy gift card or Reward Zone certificates, will they count as a valid pre-order and purchase towards the $20 bonus certificate?
Yes. A pre-order and/or purchase with a Best Buy gift card or Reward Zone certificates will count as an eligible purchase toward the $20 bonus certificate offer. The Reward Zone program rules regarding earning points when a gift card or certificate is used still apply.

If I find a lower price on the game will Best Buy price match?
Yes! Best Buy has a price match guarantee which can be found here.

If I receive a price match from an in-store or BestBuy.com purchased game, will I still qualify for the $20 bonus certificate?
$20 Reward Zone Gamer's Club Unlocked for Dummies

1) You will not get your $20 RZ until around the 30-35 day mark (after purchase). Stop worrying about it until that point.
2) The RZ website is far from accurate. Proof in point, the RZ silver bar. Again, see #1. Patience is a virtue.

What does this mean on a purchase?
- RZGC UNLOCKED PO 10 DISCOUNT - Your 10% discount for Pre Owned Games. This will show up for ANY purchase (gaming or not) as long as you are Gamer's Club Unlocked.
- PS-(system)-(game) i.e. PS-X360-RESIDENT EVIL 6 - This is your preorder being deducted from the purchase of the game.

Preorder DLC Bonus - You need to have an email address associated to your Reward Zone account. This is the email address they will send your DLC code to. It typicially can take a day to obtain this. Potentially up to a week. Note your luck of getting this by the time you get home is a crapshoot. Wait a week and then call customer service if you haven't received.

FOR YOUR POINTS...
If your physical receipt shows like below, you should get your $20RZ preorder bonus.

EXCHANGE

Original Tran (Cust Serv Pin) Date

Return Items
Pre-order SKU PS-(system)-(game) 5.00-

Sale Items
SKU Name of Game for above 59.99

The complaining about these points/DLC need to die down. Come on guys/gals...

I'm constantly in awe of just how many facets of BBY's infrastructure is flawed and myrz is no exception.

Just call and complain. They've already given me $5 bucks a couple days ago because my 1000 pts from madden dissapeared and they told me if I have to call back again, they'll give me another $10

Thinking of reserving a few games. Need to decide. Guess BL2 won't be one of them at this point though. Not sure if I want 2K12. Perhaps just Dishonored. Maybe AC3 too, but usually I finish AC games so quickly.

Either way, this is still a pretty great deal.

You should go ahead and preorder 2K12 as that game will most likely drop in price within the 30 day price match window. That's and FIFA, I've heard, go on sale quick

I was just stating my observations. I have no problems with myrz (as of now). But yeh, cs hands out $5-15 reward certs like candy.

You can still pre-order BL2 online with free shipping.

Question for anyone who is knowledgeable on the subject: When I pre-order Halo 4 for in store pick up from Best Buy, am I guaranteed to get a copy on launch day (November 6th)? I won't be able to pick up my copy until after work which is about 6:30pm. Thanks in advance

One last question before I stay up all night playing BL2. Is there a certain time best buy wont let people wait in line for the midnight launch, because I really just wanna go at 11:30 and just walk and out as the BB rep I talked to today said that their store never really has a lot of people come to their midnight launches

At my store they don't set the games aside. They always ask me to grab one off of the shelf. Of course they have always had a ton of the games I pre-ordered.

2k does tend to go on sale pretty quick. Fifa sales however are few and far between for the first several months I believe.

i'm gonna do the midnight thing too, does anyone know if bestbuy will start selling the game say like at 11pm or are they pretty strict on the whole midnight thing?

see you socal cagers in wet covina!

just bit the bullet and preordered Boarderlands 2. I don't really have time for it but could help myself after watching the trailer. Hopefully it goes on sale in the next 60 days.

Maybe I will put in a 2K13 pre-order. Still not sure if it will be enough of an upgrade from 2K12 to hold my interest.

Strongly considering a BL2 pre-order, but I just really disliked the original BL, don't play online much/have people on my friends list who will be playing the game, and I don't know if there's a radio or a more polished story to keep me engaged. When I think of BL I just think of all the design problems I had with it and the lack of fun after a few hours. Just don't know if the sequel will allow me to get by them. The reviews are so great though, even compared to how the first one reviewed, that I'm super curious.

I'm sure the base TIV for BL2 at BB will be at least $20 so if you don't like it, you can just trade it in and get your money back since you get that $20 cred. for preordering

Question on Reward zone. Once you have enough points for a certificate, do I have to print it out or can I save em up and print out one big certificate. I have 3 games on pre-order so was wondering if I could save them allf or 60 bucks off or would I have to do 3 20s?

You can set the amount of points at which it will automatically kick out a certificate, but I forget the maximum it lets you set. You can always set it for the max (whatever that is) and request one manually when you want.

EDIT: Ok the max is 25000 points ($500), so you got options :)

*Note: Reward certificates are valid for 180 days from issue date.

just got the Gamer's Club Unlocked and pre-ordered Borderlands 2 will it actually take 30 days to get the points? I wanted to use them on FIFA 13 either way I could use them on Black Ops 2 or Halo 4
Just went and made a last minute Borderlands 2 pre-order. Sadly no midnight event at my Best Buy
me too, but luckily my local store is doing a midnight event. so yay!

Went to best buy at like 11:50 thinking I was gonna be waiting for at least 30 minutes, ended up being the 3rd person in line, then the rep said preorders go first so i ended up getting it first woop
not sure yet, the blue shirt only mentioned a free poster with purchase of BL2.
My store says free poster ( A $9.99 value! )

Has anyone else not gotten their Madden certificates yet? If I click on the transaction in my rewards zone account it says I have 1000 points but its not actually pending in my pending points section.

When I pre-ordered BL2 today, the guy said that I will get the points as soon as I pay off the game (go pick it up). That doesn't sound right though.

well here is hoping it takes less than a week, don't see why it would take that long. Gamestop powerup rewards points are posted and can be used almost immediately, either way just picked up BL2 about to start playing and was sad only 5 people showed up to the midnight launch lol

Got a free poster at midnight, and there was like no one there. Also if they scan your RZ card and it's on your receipt, will I be good to go for the $20 bucks? Also when do I ge the premiere club preorder bonus?

My madden points took just over two weeks to post. I then received an email telling me that my $20 cert was ready. I'm definitely using the 20 towards dishonored then that 20 towards bo2.
Edit: if anyone picks up their game at a bb that didn't do a midnight launch, post if you got a poster or not.

the code is supposed to be emailed to us per info on the BB site, not holding my breathe though. Have had a problem with them in the past with emailing codes.

I also received my $20 GC from the Madden preorder over this past weekend.

I just picked up my preordered copy (not at midnight) and they had a TON of posters left. There were 3 other guys picking up preorders too (all of whom got posters) so I'd imagine if you go today they will still be available.

Now the wait for the preorder bonus email. I do not have a good feeling about this.

*edit* This store did not do a midnight launch.

Picked up preorder of Borderlands 2 (360). Poster was included, and the premier club dlc code was printed on the receipt. Redeemed no problem.

How do they ring up your pre-order when you finally pick it up? I'm not sure what they did on mine. I took them the original receipt, then they did some sort of return of $5 credit then rang me up... It didn't really look like fulfilling a pre-order as much as a return of $5 and then a straight up sell. I'm kinda worried about my $20 certificate and my pre-order bonus DLC. I guess if I don't get an email in the next day or so or see my RZ points pending soon, I'll have to make a phone call to BB CS... finger crossed.

This is exactly how they did it with my pick-up. :(

No code on receipt.

Same here, receipt says Return Items and lists a negative $5 balance. Then below it lists the Sale Items which includes the game and the DLC code. I remember people saying that BBY would fulfill the preorders in a way that would mess with their bonuses, I hope this isnt the case for us though...

Does it say exchange or return on your receipt? If it says exchange then they processed the pre-order the right way and you should have no problems getting your RWZ cert.

It says "Return Items"
$5.00 -
PS/X360 Borderland

Then she rang me up like a normal purchase on the same receipt...

No codes, etc were printed on the receipt, so if there were supposed to be any on there, I def. did not get them.

Return Items here...crap! Also, is the PO Bonus code listed on the receipt for ALL of the bonus content including the Mechromancer character class? Or is the code for the other stuff (Premiere Club) and the Mechromnacer code will be sent to my email at a later date? This should be simpler...

My local store did not do a Midnight release but my gaming rep was nice enough to give me one of the posters last week

Since it says return on your receipt you may run into issues getting your cert. It's kinda like she canceled your pre-order and put the $5 toward the new purchase. If the points don't show up in 30 days just contact CS an explain the situation. As for the codes, I thought they were suppose to send it to your RWZ account email.

so i did the midnight thing, (there were 5-6 of us) lol. and i was really tempted to buy the 150 loot chest they had on the display table but i didn't
