Do I have to be a Reward Zone Gamers Club [Unlocked] member to qualify?
Yes, in order to qualify for the promotion customers must be a Reward Zone Gamers Club [Unlocked] member at the time the pre-order is picked up or shipped.

If I am not a member of the Reward Zone Gamers Club [Unlocked], how do I join?
You can only sign up for Gamer’s Club [Unlocked] in store. If you are signing up the day you pick up an eligible pre-order, the pre-order exchange and [Unlocked] sale must be completed on the same receipt.

Is this offer available for both in-store and BestBuy.com purchases?
Yes! Pre-orders and purchases placed both in-store and on BestBuy.com qualify.

Does it count on all editions of the game?
The offer is applicable on all Xbox 360 and PS3 versions of the game such as special editions, limited editions, collector’s editions, etc. (subject to availability). PC, Wii, or any other platform of any of the titles does not qualify as a purchase towards this promotion.

Can I purchase multiple of the same title and still qualify for the promotion?
You can only receive one $20 certificate for each individual title, regardless of version or platform.

There are twelve titles on this list. Can I get 12 $20 certificates if I pre-order and purchase all of them?
Yes! With this offer, members are eligible for up to 12,000 Bonus Reward Zone points if they pre-order and purchase all games.

How do I link my Reward Zone account to my BestBuy.com account to ensure my purchases are tracked?
Check out this handy post by Kyle-BBY with instructions on how to do so.

How long does this promotion run?
The promotion will end 7 days after the last game is released.

When will I get my certificates?
Reward Zone Gamers Club [Unlocked] members will receive their $20 certificate approximately 30 days from the date of pick up or shipping of each title as it is released.

Will I still receive my regular RZ points for making the purchases?
Yes, customers will still receive everyday points per the Reward Zone program rules.

Am I still eligible for all additional offers that might be available for the new games such as DLCs or free merchandise?
Yes, customers are still eligible for additional offers they may come available with these new releases.

If I return any of the games, will I still be eligible?
Any game returned will be disqualified for that title’s $20 certificate offer.

If I pre-order and/or purchase any of the above listed games using a Best Buy gift card or Reward Zone certificates, will they count as a valid pre-order and purchase towards the $20 bonus certificate?
Yes. A pre-order and/or purchase with a Best Buy gift card or Reward Zone certificates will count as an eligible purchase toward the $20 bonus certificate offer. The Reward Zone program rules regarding earning points when a gift card or certificate is used still apply.

If I find a lower price on the game will Best Buy price match?
Yes! Best Buy has a price match guarantee which can be found here.

If I receive a price match from an in-store or BestBuy.com purchased game, will I still qualify for the $20 bonus certificate?
Yes. A price match done in-store or on BestBuy.com within policy will not affect your eligibility for the $20 bonus certificate.
$20 Reward Zone Gamer's Club Unlocked for Dummies

1) You will not get your $20 RZ until around the 30-35 day mark (after purchase). Stop worrying about it until that point.
2) The RZ website is far from accurate. Proof in point, the RZ silver bar. Again, see #1. Patience is a virtue.

What does this mean on a purchase?
- RZGC UNLOCKED PO 10 DISCOUNT - Your 10% discount for Pre Owned Games. This will show up for ANY purchase (gaming or not) as long as you are Gamer's Club Unlocked.
- PS-(system)-(game) i.e. PS-X360-RESIDENT EVIL 6 - This is your preorder being deducted from the purchase of the game.

Preorder DLC Bonus - You need to have an email address associated to your Reward Zone account. This is the email address they will send your DLC code to. It typicially can take a day to obtain this. Potentially up to a week. Note your luck of getting this by the time you get home is a crapshoot. Wait a week and then call customer service if you haven't received.

FOR YOUR POINTS...
If your physical receipt shows like below, you should get your $20RZ preorder bonus.

EXCHANGE

Original Tran (Cust Serv Pin) Date

Return Items
Pre-order SKU PS-(system)-(game) 5.00-

Sale Items
SKU Name of Game for above 59.99

The complaining about these points/DLC need to die down. Come on guys/gals...

My Borderlands 2 points just banked. 14 days after pick-up is not too shabby. Now I will put that towards my Dishonored. Anyone ever try to apply a RZ cert to a pitch in card? Pretty sure it won't work but that system is a little screwy.

Thanks! I was pretty sure you could not but thought I would ask. No biggie.

What about buying a gift card in store using the RZ cert?
What about buying a gift card in store using the RZ cert?
I know you can use them towards a prepaid Visa and a Kindle card but another BBY gc is a no go.
i think i'm in the same boat - preordered online, not in store pickup.

according to best buy.com - it shows order completed but
according to my rz.com - it shows total earned with this transaction 223

i called best buy to try to get this sorted out and they say that they see it pending in there system... but i have checked 100x times and don't see it in my screen in the past 2yr records.

i think it's time to give them another call.
Did you actually click the transaction? Mine didn't post pending total till week later, but if you double click on transaction it showed 1000 points earned.

So can you use gift cards and RZ cert for Visa PP card?

Yep. Great way to convert extra trade credit to cash...costs $5.95 to activate and $200 limit. I only found out about the RZ cert because I was using it while buying some games with a visa but the computer applied part of the cert to the visa card.

I read online you couldn't use trade in gift card or RZ cert. Guess I'll give it a shot. Only game I'm interested is Black Ops 2 so might turn 70 credit into 64 cash.

how i wished i preordered nba2k13. grrr! hope the collectors edition i saw in my store yesterday is still there. need that all star code. hehe!

Despite the reviews and my uncertainty I decided to pick up RE6, figured I'd atleast make my money back after certificate, price match & trade in.

Thought I didn't notice until I picked it up that the guy put my pre-order down as 360 and not PS3. Had to go back in and exchange it for the ps3 version. Hopefully it doesn't mess with my certificates, otherwise I guess I will have to call or contact my personal shopper thing.

Also, if anybody wants a 360 pre-order bonus code then PM me. Don't really care about it and obviously can't use it as I don't have my 360 anymore.

yup been there done that as said before... clicked it and only showed 223 for it.

so i picked up borderlands 2 12 days after release. they told me i wasn't going to receive the $20 certificate cause i didn't pick it up within 5 days after release. is there anyway they can fix that? i called gamer clubs # and they don't me i had to speak to the manager at the store. any advice?

That's what it says in the fine print must be picked up within 7 days maybe you could get the manager to override and give you $20 back but that would be ymmv if they read the fine print in the promo

lol, you are sol

So now that I'm a Premier Silver member, I'm considering preordering ACIII and Far Cry 3 (both :ps3:) since there's next-to-no chance of both titles not dropping at least $20 within two months given that they're Ubisoft games.

Anyone think I should go ahead and just preorder them?

yes, you should. i would of preordered aciii, if i had the 60 day price match
Finally got my email token for the RE6 DLC
I'm hopeful mine will come soon (I pre-ordered in July) - when I called BB yesterday, the CSR said they had run out, but were expecting more within 48 hours. I'm assuming when I pre-ordered the game had no bearing on the order in which I receive my code.

Still haven't gotten my Madden $20 promo. Just heard from a representative that it does not appear as a pre-order in their system.... despite the order history showing that the order was placed on the 16th of August..... sometimes I wish these representatives would think before responding and dismissing customer inquires.

Definitely lowering my expectations for the Borderlands pre-order bonus to go through.

you should try posting on the bestbuy forum to see if you can get the issues resolve

That might be a problem as it didn't show up as a pre-order. Not sure how that would have happened if you ordered on 8/16.

However, you should be able to get some satisfaction because it should have posted by now (been about 5 weeks since release day 8/28) and you have an order on the books.

Same thing happened to me with Borderlands. I posted on the forums, and Mike said that since in my case the return of the wrong preorder and sale of the right game happened on two separate transactions the points wouldn't apply automatically. He simply added the 1000 points for me though no trouble.

So my advice would be to watch your transaction history and this thread. When you see people posting that they see/received their RE6 points look to see if you got them too. If you don't, post on the forums and it'll get fixed for you.

My pre-order for dishonored has shipped, along with the whale oil lamp(I guess BB didn't run out of them cause I just pre-ordered yesterday).

Just keep watching for Best Buy to announce there holiday return policy. Everybody will get an extended time to price match also just like last year.

That's the oil lamp, not mines. Just took a screenshot of it from a youtube unboxing.

Got my DLC codes for NBA2K13 and RE6 finally. I'm broke down and sent a PM on the forums so I'm pretty sure that spurred it, just like it did with Borderlands 2, in case anybody is still waiting.

I was in yesterday and the BBY Rep told me the game was already in the back of the store. Not that it has anything to do with stock but I was just surprised the game was already there. The temptation to play early would be too great for me. :)

Just noticed on my tracking info for NBA 2k13 that it's been transferred from UPS to USPS. Which means there is zero chance it shows up for it's expected delivery date, which is Monday.
The absolutely frustrating thing is that it's in the same borough as me.
ups mail innovations works that way. As soon as they hand it to the USPS, it usually means its a day from delivery.

Monday is a holiday too so I'm not expecting my Anthology edition till Tuesday. Tracking says it is in NJ while I'm in Philly so I think Saturday is a good day to get it at as my Netflix movies take only 1 day, but who knows.

Best Buy expedited shipping for Silver members is really fast. I preordered NBA 2K13 Monday night and I received it on Wednesday (1 day after release).
