Yes, in order to qualify for the promotion customers must be a Reward Zone Gamers Club [Unlocked] member at the time the pre-order is picked up or shipped.

If I am not a member of the Reward Zone Gamers Club [Unlocked], how do I join?

Does it count on all editions of the game?
The offer is applicable on all Xbox 360 and PS3 versions of the game such as special editions, limited editions, collector’s editions, etc. (subject to availability). PC, Wii, or any other platform of any of the titles does not qualify as a purchase towards this promotion.

Can I purchase multiple of the same title and still qualify for the promotion?

There are twelve titles on this list. Can I get 12 $20 certificates if I pre-order and purchase all of them?

When will I get my certificates?
Reward Zone Gamers Club [Unlocked] members will receive their $20 certificate approximately 30 days from the date of pick up or shipping of each title as it is released.

Will I still receive my regular RZ points for making the purchases?
Yes, customers will still receive everyday points per the Reward Zone program rules.

Am I still eligible for all additional offers that might be available for the new games such as DLCs or free merchandise?

Yes! Best Buy has a price match guarantee which can be found here.

If I receive a price match from an in-store or BestBuy.com purchased game, will I still qualify for the $20 bonus certificate?
$20 Reward Zone Gamer's Club Unlocked for Dummies

1) You will not get your $20 RZ until around the 30-35 day mark (after purchase). Stop worrying about it until that point.
2) The RZ website is far from accurate. Proof in point, the RZ silver bar. Again, see #1. Patience is a virtue.

What does this mean on a purchase?
- RZGC UNLOCKED PO 10 DISCOUNT - Your 10% discount for Pre Owned Games. This will show up for ANY purchase (gaming or not) as long as you are Gamer's Club Unlocked.
- PS-(system)-(game) i.e. PS-X360-RESIDENT EVIL 6 - This is your preorder being deducted from the purchase of the game.

Preorder DLC Bonus - You need to have an email address associated to your Reward Zone account. This is the email address they will send your DLC code to. It typicially can take a day to obtain this. Potentially up to a week. Note your luck of getting this by the time you get home is a crapshoot. Wait a week and then call customer service if you haven't received.

FOR YOUR POINTS...
If your physical receipt shows like below, you should get your $20RZ preorder bonus.

EXCHANGE

Original Tran (Cust Serv Pin) Date

Return Items
Pre-order SKU PS-(system)-(game) 5.00-

Sale Items
SKU Name of Game for above 59.99

The complaining about these points/DLC need to die down. Come on guys/gals...

It was a joke.

My points will eventually come. I got close to 20 days before I will get to enjoy them anyways.

Didn't realize Best Buy sold tools, plants, and light fixtures...

In all seriousness, I will believe this once Best Buy updates their PM Policy online. All these news outlets have reported it yet there is no Official Word from Best Buy themselves. Best Buy employees are typicially not the most informed people. They have denied price match for years and that isn't going to change overnight for most of those Customer Service employee minds. I am glad yours allows it but didn't I remember hearing yours was doing that prior to this "announcement"?

Lowes sells appliances....Best Buy price matches Toys R Us, Target, and Wal-Mart. I don't remember Best Buy selling groceries, full line of action figures and toys (they carry them once and a while, but only small numbers of big sellers), or fresh produce. Your comment literally makes no sense, it was meant to be funny, but just came off stupid.

When I called the store he read it from a memo, he said they had a meeting about it two days ago. It was already in a public press release, but the actual details were unknown, by me at least, until I called my store.

When I called .com to place an order, she said yes we price match Newegg and amazon now. I then put an order in for store pickup for Yakuza Dead Souls and Binary Domain for $31.78 total.

Anywhere to pricematch Borderlands or Dishonored yet? Is there a thread anywhere for this? I remember someone ran one last year and it was very helpful :)
You say they owe you points for $64. 1) tax doesn't get points. 2) how did you pay? Gift card, pitch-in card, reward cert, BB prepaid visa all don't give points. 3) if you used cash or credit card, did you try adding it via the report missing points option? You'd need the amount and customer service pin from the receipt.
1. You're right, tax doesn't isn't eligible for points but my 59.99 is. 2. I paid via gift card and credit card. 3. I already tried to add the points myself, I wouldn't have called customer service if I could resolve it myself. The 59.99 points were never added, and when I try to add them it says there were already added. I don't know how they screwed up my transaction but I paid for borderlands in full when I reserved it, and when I picked it up they gave me a receipt that says I returned the game. It's all jacked up.

I successfully price matched BJs on Dishonored today at $46.99. Brought a picture on my phone, but they only glanced at it.

I should probably know this, but am oblivious...

When price matching any of these games, can you PM as many times as you like? You would just keep bringing in the ORIGINAL receipt right? Like if I PM'ed Dishonored for $45 and got $15 back, could I PM at $30 if its on sale and get $30 back? Or would they know I already got $15 back at one point and only give me another $15 off?

How could they tell if you used the original receipt?

Each receipt has a bar code at the top and they can trace any other receipts attached to it.

Ahh okay. So you can only get money back of the sale price or competitor's price is lower than what you've already PM'ed it for?

Example: I PM'ed Fry's RE6 anthology for $74.99, so I can't hope to get any more back unless it goes >$74.99 within 60 days correct?

Correct.

I preordered dishonored and picked it up Tuesday, and became unlocked on Thursday and still received the points. So maybe some luck to those who did like me and became unlocked after the fact. Question, am I supposed to get the current mag when I enroll or will it ship home? A non gaming clerk was standing in when I purchase my subscription.

is there a limit to the amount of games you can price match protection during the 60 day purchase?

For example if you do lots of returns bestbuy will ban you/not allow you to return anymore... that is why they need your license.. do they do the same thing with price match?
does a pricematch after purchase count as a return?

I buy dozens of games every month from bestbuy (and multiples of each game) so i'm sure I can get a lot of money back by pricematching but I'm afraid they will ban me if i do it too often?

Well, I had nothing to worry about--I logged into myrz.com today to find a ton of my pending points now processed and the 1000 points for RE6 credited. I'm sitting pretty now on 3000 points (with ~300 still pending). \\:D/

...I love being able to bank points. :D

If I may ask did you get just a regular version of RE6 or one of the other versions?

PM's are tracked but they ARE NOT counted like a return even though the receipt may say return. The real red flags are people who do excessive returns that end in open box items("renters") or complusive impulse buyers who return stuff every other day. Just make sure they "price match" & not return/rebuy.

Any price matching opportunity available for Madden 13, Sleeping Dogs, DarkSiders 2, Nba 2k13, dishonored, Borderlands 2, Resident Evil 6?

Someone should make a price matching thread, so it can be easily found, with that being said....not it!

Ha that's what i've been saying... also, not it! :p

On another note, what would happen for price matching if we used a trade in card to purchase the game? Are we not able to price match if we paid for the game via a GC or a trade in card etc?

One would assume that if there were any PM opportunities, a thread would be created (clearly by someone less lazy than you, who has no problem doing the work for themselves). Not everything can be handed to you on a silver platter...

Oh definitely, but i also think it can come down to having the amount of free time it would take to create and maintain the thread. I definitely don't have the free time... sorry :)

Any PM opportunity will be posted here no doubt. There were tons of them last year during the promo. I think I got BF, Batman, Skyrim and Saints Row for 40.00 plus the gift cards.

i think silver members are getting their points posted after 14 days now. i did a trade in 2 weeks ago and i got a cert for it so if my guess is right i'll get the 2k and re points tomorrow :D

Exactly, I would be doing CAG a disservice since I do not have the free time to maintain/update the thread in a timely manner.

They could easily be found if people didn't keep bitching about not having their points pending.

Of your list, I bought two of them. Madden 13 I PM down to $45 (TRU) a couple weeks back. Resident Evil Archives I got denied the Fry's PM. I will try the Sam's Club one sooner than later. If Amazon PM is true, I could try that.

Madden was $50 at Target a few weeks ago. I did that before I traded it in for $42. For $8 +taxes, it was a worthwhile rental. That's forgetting about the $20 too. :D-

Yes, free with preorder

I got mine the same day I placed my preorder. It's a pretty cool poster. The guy also pulled out a big stack of Halo 4 stickers and seemed excited to finally be able to give some away. :p

Yeah I just saw it. Is your some type of lithograph poster inside of an envelope? If so, I'm definately going back and getting one since they never gave me one for preordering the console

Yep! That's it. They should have just given it to you when you placed your preorder, but if they still have them around then I'm sure it won't be too hard to get one.

If they have the Steel Case online that I wasnt able to get instore, is there any way of getting it still or would I just have to do an order on line and cancel my instore one?
