sorry... but since it's a "glitch" providing a guide for this could get the wbesite into legal trouble since its technically the website hosting it. blab la bla you could say the individual poster is resposnible for it but i dont think that hold sup. plus theres the morality of it id rather just pay a couple of bucks instead of scamming best buy esp since they had so many good deals lately.

Let's reword this for legal purposes.

Does anyone know how to alter their BestBuy online shopping carts in order for the b2g2 error to appear, for the overall learning experience of witnessing faulty programming? I'm very interested.

In all honesty, someone already explained the glitch on here about 4 pages back.

Worked for me by adding 3 games through the in-store pickup option, then adding a 4th to be shipped. I was then able to change the pickup/shipping options for each item to what I wanted.

I placed two orders total for games that I want and will use. I used up my BB trade-in credit and decided not to abuse this further.
 
Yeah be signed in. I did a b2g1 free 3 24.99 games for store pickup. The 3 games were SR3, Batman, and UC3. It may have to be games on sale idk.Did a few orders then canceled the initial b2g1.
 
Thanks paid 54.XX for in store pick-up, got...
:360:Saints Row the Third
:ps3:Dark Souls, Uncharted3, Infamous 2
and Pelican Dual Triggers for a Dualshock 3 controller.

Traded SR3 and U3 back to BB for $44.XX and hopefully get the $10 for spending $50 for in-store pick-up for free Dark Souls, Infamous 2 and Triggers.

Do gaming accessories count? I was using the triggers as a filler. If not there is another glitch I may try....

Infamous 3 was a ship-to-store the others where pick-up in store. I picked up the 3 games "pick-up in store" They charged me $22.49 for U3, $0.00 for SR3 and Dark Souls so if I cancel I2 I wonder if it would get adjusted.

...if not I would be getting paid $21 dollars and an used copy oF Dark Souls

Yeah dont cancel ANYTHING in the order otherwise the glitch goes away.

I had all 4 Pokemon games used with tthat Rocketfish Starter Kit, and canceled the Starter Kit then the adjustment took away the glitch.

I had no problems with b2g2 2 weeks ago when it started, but it doesn't work for me anymore. Even tried the same exact order - same priced games.

Edit. Wait. I cancelled a b2g1 for the b2g2. Nvm.
 
Awesome got it to work. This is what I did:
1. Added 3 games and purchased them for b2g1
2. Another order of 4 games all priced at 24.99
3. Great Success!

Just did it again with more expensive games but kept them at the same price range.

My nba 2k12 wasnt found in store. I have to call and have them change it to ship. I'm curious if anything will happen when they change it or if they'll say anything about the glitch. Tried to call today but apparently their customer service wasn't open.

Yeah just dont add something to ur B2G2 unless u plan on getting it. Otherwise it adjust and takes away the glitch for that B2G2 order.

Dude comeon. The glitch plus the $10 code u might get for the instore pickup is one of the most redunkulous deals Best Buy has had and thats saying alot with the awesomeness that BB has done so far. Dont push it.

You are really going to try a price adjust with the b2g2 glitch? The free game you weren't supposed to get isn't enough for you?


I think you'll need to find a naive CSR to do it because the promo and the coupon are not supposed to work together. Not to mention alerting someone at best buy of the glitch.
 
I am buying back half the games I traded this month (albeit at a lower cost) but the whole point was to reduce the backlog...I think I am relapsing...anyone know were I can find a meeting at midnight? :)

count me in. Bought some games from the gohastings deal that I already beat. Im trying to kill my backlog but I keep adding to it. Im getting both ninja gaiden 3, borderlands GOTY, and lollipop chainsaw on friday. I still have reach, rage, homefront, both gta episodes, and a bunch more shit to finsh. So I hear ya bro:cry:

I had the same problem and was able to get it switched to ship to store with no issue.

I bought like priced games (did not matter what console) and that you have to be signed in to your best buy account when doing so. I opened games I wanted into 4 different tabs and I clicked add to cart one by one on each tab and it worked. It did at least for me. I was even able to rotate the non free games for other games based on store pick up availability for the same priced games by adding it to cart first and then removing the unwanted game second. I did not touch the free games at all in fear of loosing them both. I can confirm that it worked on high tier ($44.99) and low tier ($4.99) priced games for like priced games as I was testing to see if it did or not.

The price doesn't affect the deal, except that you'll always get charged for the most expensive games in your order. The key is to put a b2 g1 order through first to get the b2 g2 to kick in for subsequent orders. I suppose you could do store pick up for the first order at a different store and not pick it up. After 8 days they'll reverse it take it off you cc. I kept my first order (3 PS games that I sort of wanted).

There's a buttload of good games in the $17.99 range - not newer games, but a lot of the best games to come out during 2009-2011. At least 30-40 titles worth having in my book.

I jumped on preowned deals of the week games that I wanted but there is definitely something for everyone.
 
This worked like a charm. Placed the first order for b2g1 and the 2nd for b2g2. The store I placed the b2g1 order with only had the free game. So, I was able to cancel that order today. I applied reward certificates toward the b2g2 order. My total oop was $32.58 for SR3, Dark Souls, U3 and NBA 2K12. Thanks to the op.
 
These pre-owned stickers they put on the back of the case are as bad as those old square EB Games stickers. Even if ya remove most of the major sticker residue after peeling off the entire sticker there's this sticky residue still left on the cases.:cry:

That's what I did too. I bought out the whole stock the one HWV had when they were closing so I have a shitload of PS3, 360, Wii and even a buncha PS2 cases.:lol:

I just did that with about 6 games I have from BB, even after I tried cleaning the cases on 1-2 of them with a piece of packing tape. This is much, much easier.

Forgot to say thank you for mentioning that! Saw your post about the stickers a day or 2 ago. That got me to take my Goo Gone with me. All stickers and residue gone!

100 for 8 games, kept 2, traded the rest back in for 150.
 
Anyone experiencing long "processing" on items that had to be shipped? Considering yesterday was the 4th, I'm not too worried, but it is definitely making me wonder what is going on - especially given the fact that L4D2 is no longer available for shipping...

I have an order thats been sitting in processing for 4 days now. Still says usually ships in 0-1 days. No updates and it says it can't be cancelled. I'm guessing if it doesn't ship soon, it will probably get auto-canceled.
 
I can never get the B2G2 to work.. not really in the mood to mess with multiple orders to trick the system either. I may just go the B2G1 to re-buy some of the games I traded in on the 100% promotion...
