If you hate musicals there is something wrong with you that is why that is not an option GuywithGun
Ok, something wrong with me, and not the people that spontaneously break out in song to solve their problems...riiiiight.
I got to see it in its initial broadway run and it was probably the most amazing traditional musical I have ever seen.
Personally, I would say Contact, but that's more of a play with no dialogue and only music. It's still really kickass. And has no relation to the Jodi Foster movie.
Or Blast. It is definitely the greatest of the Stomp-esque things.
West Side Story and Saturday Night Fever are the two top selling Soundtracks of all time! You should of put that on the list.
I know I know...but until a poll can have more than 10 in the list polls like this are stuck.
To tell you the truth, I was dissapointed with southpark the movie. Don't get me wrong it's decent but there are so many more musicals out there that are so much better!
Doh.. another one that would be in a 'vote for 25 list'. Perhaps Cheapy could grant us top 50 poll of musicals for as we can see the top spot can't be contained by a top 10 list.
Sound of Music? Seven brides for seven brothers? Brigadoon? Inspector General? I guess I'd vote for Music Man from the list you have...
GARR CHEAPY D witness the problems we are having in voting for a top muscial.......What to do!?
Here is another one: Little Shop of Horrors. Also dont forget the one that they show in midnight showings at the theater; I forgot the name of that movie but it stars Susan Sarandon, Tim Curry and Meatloaf.
Phantom is an Opera!
Wrong. Phantom of the Opera is a musical by Andrew Lloyd Webber. It is not considered an opera. (http://www.thephantomoftheopera.com/the_show_background.asp)
I chose none of these because I like Les Miserables best.
