What online retailer served you the best in 2006?

Amazon.com
DeepDiscountDVD.com
NewEgg.com
OverStock.com
Play-Asia.com

I was impressed when overstock.com actually honored so many $20 games. I forgot what the actual deal was, but I did pick up Super Princess Peach for 20 bucks.

Managed to get a "free" Cooking Mama and a $20 Lego Star Wars II from that, not too shabby.

I'll second that since I didn't buy much else online last year.

Second

the worst is Marriott. I reserved a room in October and now they say I don't have a reservation even though I have a confirmation #.

ShopTNA.com for the awesome deals and for answering my e-mails real fast whenever I had a question. Yeah their shipping was a bit slow at times but with the deals they had I won't complain much.

I only had to deal with a few on-line Customer Service Depts. this past year....Best Buy.com, J&R Music.com, GoGamer.com and Newegg.com.....GoGamer.com and Newegg.com were the best.....Best Buy and J&R can kiss my ass!

Anytime I talk to DDD CS its sorry its been shipped so refuse the delivery. I get thats same response no matter what.

I didn't deal with to much CS this past year so I'll say Buy.com

I nominate Amazon.com and Buy.com.

DDD's CS sucks ass... I've dealt with them twice, and both times they've screwed up my order and their CS has been slow (though they did fix it after about a month).

Amazon.com. A few times this year I ordered games and they showed up cheaper a few days later. Upon request, they always refunded me the difference.

amazon.com, game delayed in shipping through something that was not their fault and they refunded me $10 on my order. Nice people.

Goozex.com - Who else takes the time to answer questions from its customers on right here on CheapAssGamer.com?

I liked that Amazon would honor price drops, but I hated having to call offshore customer support.

As much as I'd hate to say it, EBGames/Gamestop has good customer service. That's my vote.

'Nuff said

Newegg.com's customer service is pretty good. They're really the only online retailer who's customer service I had to deal with, as I usually don't have problems while shopping online.

GameFly

having had some games lost in the mail never having a problem with their customer service

and when one of the games I bought from their sales never arrived they refunded me very promptly :D

New Egg by far, I killed my Amazon account over that whole $100 360 BS. I actually got one, but they charged me $300 instead. Then I spent 2 hours on the phone, and they told me they wouldnt budge.

buy.com definitely

overstock.com sucks, bought a logitech wireless keyboard from them and half the keys on it didnt work and they were asses about the return...

I would have voted for EB/Gamestop because they fixed their mistake plus gave me extra stuff, but since it is not up there I will say Amazon.

Overstock, they are always helpful, and I like the online chat with CSR much better than a phone call.

Newegg I used for the first time, bought a dvdplayer that didn't work out of the box and they wont replace it. That is idiotic.

NewEgg for the win! I buy computer parts from them frequently and games occaisonally but anytime I have a problem with something (very rare) they are more than happy to replace it. Very friendly and prompt customer service in my experience.

Amazon for me as well. After my launch Wii wasn't deleivered anywhere closed to next day (thank you DHell) they happily refunded my shipping. That and they let me get a 360 for $100 off :)
