I go to the Norwalk, CT BestBuy near my work almost every week. and every week the clearance table has the All Pro Football 2k8 for $10

today they got dropped to $2. But being the most anti-football person in the states i still couldn't convince myself grab it. I am wondering however, if this game can be traded into GameStop for more than $2...

On the clearance table:
PS3 APF 2k8 $2 (about 5 copies)
X360 APF 2k8 $2 (about 15 copies)
Halo 3 Edition Wireless Controller (w/Master Chief figurine) $40

YMMV and may not be nationwide. but i thought this game has been on clearance for the longest time now, just not this low.

Poor 2K sports... that NFL license must be doing wonders for EA.

Things changed in the patch:

Field goal block glitch removed.

Auto-strafe disabled for ranked games.

Kicking arrow no longer moves (though this doesn't apply to leagues, for some reason).

Tackle breaking toned down significantly.

Various animation issues corrected.

Gold CB Mike Haynes changed to "Mark Smith" as a result of legal issues with his contract.

Another strike against the PS3 version:

No one plays it. The user-base isn't even 1/4 the size of the 360's. 360 version still has leagues going strong, and at least 200-300 people online at any time during the day.

And with APF 2K9 getting benched this year by Take Two, I think most of us are going to stay with APF 2K8 for at least another year.
 
Given seemingly bleak uncertainty about an APF 2K9, I went ahead and picked up APF 2K8 for $10 at BB, to play it when I eventually get a 360 (I'm rather content in the last gen for the time being). Two dollars would have been nicer, but certainly I can't complain to get the best football game in what could be a while at that awesomely low price.
 
Anyone seen this at $2, or even $5, anywhere else? I already own a copy, but for $2, I'll buy out their stock and give them to my friends in the hope that I convert one. It's a seriously underrated game.

I'm near the Champaign, IL Best Buy location.
 
I have a PS3 copy from the sale (sealed)... I was planning on just holding on it, but might take trade offers, looking for only ps2/ps3 games... Dunno if it intrests anybody, trades are welcome
