Looks like both versions of Dead Island are back to regular price. We could still PM Amazons price instore though couldn't we?

As long as this is going on in store, the GoW Ascension is good if you find a store that will stack that price with the coupon. It now beats Amazon's price by $3 dollars.
 
anybody want to talk about Aliens: Colonial Marines?
everything i have heard is bad but lets say i have a $20 cert burning a hole in my pocket, is it even worth the $15 i'd pay?
anyone enjoy it?
 
I will definitely add Uncharted to the Ps3 collection for $4.99! Did store pickup. Hopefully I get it with a true case and not a generic case.
 
That's the big downside to buying from amazon; they don't price match. I bought Bioshock Infinite for $60 in April and two weeks later it was on sale for $50. Now it's $45. At least it was worth $60 but this is why it pays to wait for most games

Glad I was able to pick up the Riptide box set yesterday for 50 bucks w/ cert. Glad I grabbed a copy before it jumped back up to normal price.

I think you can beat the game by running through it without firing your gun once, if that tells you anything.

glad i jumped on dead island yesterday. my location didnt have the steelbook instock, so they ordered one for me. funny thing is, it rang up $49.99. they discounted it to zero and it should be here no later than 5/7...really curious if it orders me another game
 
Hmm, is it worth getting the Skylanders Giants starter pack for $25? I have $20 cert and $10 off coupon from McD's for the starter pack, which is probably the cheapest I'll get it for.
 
For anyone looking for copies of UFC Undisputed 3 in-store, remember to check the Platinum Hits / Greatest Hits sections in addition to where it would be among the other games--I found the remaining :ps3: copy at my store among the Greatest Hits games, likely placed there because it had the red box denoting GH status.

$50 (pre-coupons) is the cheapest the Giants Starter Pack has been so far. The cheapest I ever saw the original Spyro's Adventure SL was $40 (not counting the Kmart price error). So this week's price for Giants is pretty decent.

Do they give that $10 off coupon away at McDonald's? I've had 2 Skylanders Happy Meals and neither had the coupon. I see HappyMeal.com has a printable version of the coupon, but Toys R Us seems to hate taking any printed coupons legit or not, claiming they are all fakes.

no, its really bad. Maybe get it when its around $10 or so if your a big alien fan. Im actually forgiving with mediocre shooters, but this one is truly sub par
 
Looks like amazon raised the price back on dead island riptide recently, because I used them to price match earlier today to get the special edition for 34.99

That's weird that it wasn't included. I bought 2 Skylanders toys seperately and they both came with the coupon. I guess since I don't expect this to drop any lower than what it is, $25 seems like a good deal. Guess I'm buying it on the weekend.

I had fun with it but I'd recommend using the cert for something else. Buy ACM when it's like 20 overall not 20 or less out of pocket. The game wasn't what I'd call atrocious or unplayable but it was dull and tiresome to play alone. MP felt like a crappier Left 4 Dead. Some parts in the game had textures that looked like they were out of a N64 game (no joke) but the game wasn't unplayable or anything. Deserving of like... a 4/10 or something. You could beat it and enjoy it but it's definitely not great and has a lot of issues. It would raise to like a 6 or 7 with a coop experience as playing with friends would make it much more enjoyable. The AI in campaign is a joke to say the least.

Picked up the used Uncharted for a friend - $4.99 is kind of a no-brainer, since he hasn't played it. Ended up grabbing MW3 for me; I only want the single player, so $9.99 a fair price.
 
Not sure if it's just my store only, but "The Last Story" for the Wii w/ Artbook new is on the shelf for $24. Should I grab that fuck or what?
 
how do i get my money back on a pre order i did at BBY? Their system is terible. I dont remember where i put the reciept for my old dead island riptide preorder. I dont really want the game anymore but want to get my $5 back. I hope they dont have to look through all my orders because that will take FOREVER

I never even got a call or anything either. BBY's pre order system is pretty damn janky.
 
Can't they pull it up at customer service using your phone number/RZ info? I remember cancelling a pre-order like that before, unless they changed the system recently

Find your pre-order under your rz purchase history. If it was awhile ago they will probably take forever to find it for you. Knowing the date might help narrow it down.
