Warriors is a decent game, kinda short though, but it's worth 20 bucks. I've been playing half life and I have to say I am dissapointed so far.
Short?

It's 10+ hours for a beat-em up if you do all the sidequests and everything... it's actually quite long, considering the genre.
People should be thankful that the ads even get posted in advance, since most everyone isn't privvy to the infomation in advance.
Amazing this still has to be said.

Thanks for the advance news!
Hmm...on the coupon itself says "Markdowns taken from regular prices." The 2 for 30 takes $XX off the original cost.
so i'm guessing noone has been able to use the 10 off coupons on these games?

Could I do this?

- Buy Half life and another game, both will ring up for 29.99

- Return the other game and get 29.99 back, keep Half Life.

- Later return with the 10.00 off coupon with my Reciept, and show I bought Half Life for 29.99 and get 10.00 back, thus scoring Half Life for 19.99?

I know it's a long shot, but would it work?

You'd have to get an awfully dumb cashier. The coupons aren't supposed to be used for past purchases.

Probably not... the odds that it would work are rather slim considering there are so many places where you could go wrong...
No PC games, so nothing for me this week; that is, until I get to look at the sale fliers in my Sunday paper this weekend.

I guess some people simply don't recognize the PC as a valid gaming platform, which is unfortunate. I suppose I was guilty of the same thing before I got a new PC and video card. Now I hardly ever touch my console games, with the exception of Dynasty Warriors.

Anyway, the inclusion of a few PC games on sale each week would be greatly appreciated. I can still find the sales in my Sunday paper, but it is nice to get them a few days in advance. Thanks.
Please read page 2 and quit complaining! I don't want another CAG deciding it's not worth posting deals in advance because of grief from fellow members.

No shit. Thanks OP.
hows 50 cent bulletproof?
Not worth $20 unless you can find it $15 or less. (the presentation graphic look very cool but the gameplayed kinda $uck).

anyone tried using the coupons yet? I was gonna make a trip up tommrow, but wanted to know if was going to be worth it
Half Life 2 and GTA Trilogy sounds appealing.

Thanks OP.
my thoughts exactly, especially if i can get a couple of coupons to work.

Unless you can find a newbie cashier you will not be able to use the $10 off coupons in combination with the 2 for $60 deal.

This deal is programed into BB's computers so the cashier will scan both games, hit enter and then package pricing will be applied, making each game $30. The computer will not recognize any additional coupons that have been scanned when a package price is applied.

Well fuck BB on that one.

That's what I suspected, since that's how it was the last time they did this type of promotion, and the two games I wanted, BF2: MC and HL2 are $20 purchases, not $30.

yeah, but GTA Trilogy is definitely at LEAST a $30 purchase. i can't believe it was $30 at one point, $20 AC. that one really slipped by me. i'm thinking HL 2 is worth $30 at this point because it was released so recently.

is it possible to buy 2 of the same game? i would probably just buy 2 of the gta triple packs and then dump one on ebay.

I was just at Best Buy returning some stuff (do I really need a 7-port USB 2.0 hub even if it's "only" $20?), and was about to buy two GTA Trilogies and offer the second to a CAG. Then I figured that $10 for each game I don't really like still wouldn't be cheap enough. Oh well.

devil customer =p

didnt read through the thread, but stopped by best buy yesterday and tony hawk american wasteland for the DS is $29.99 - $10 coupon

so anyone who has picked it up please give impressions, i'm not a skateboarding fan so would i like it?

coupon did not work for me. the cashier asked me which discount i wanted. it would have been over $90 with the coupon. i picked the other option.

A warning dracula, it's not worth the effort. Back when BB sold it for $29.99 ($20 after coupon) I was thinking about doing that since my BB had so many, but after checking, the trilogy is only about $25 on ebay so that kills any ideas you may have unless you enjoy working hard for only 25 cent profit.
