Frisky, I was playing late Friday night and still had your older score (1600-something I think). I sent out my slightly more respectable score this evening too, as well as going in and getting a ton of medals (and even beating some of your scores there

). Of course, my copy of your scores is probably horribly out of date.
It's cool that you can unlock the "Expert" modes for the games though. It seems to me there's a lot of replayability in that practice mode, which I ignored at first because I didn't think it would be anything special. For those who don't know, you can get Bronze, Silver, Gold, and Platinum medals for Easy/Medium/Hard versions of all the games - then unlock Expert, I guess from getting 3 golds. And each level of each game has it's own leaderboard with your friends on it. Frisky was the only one I saw at first but Spazx was on a few too... I forgot to add you in Troz, I'll do that tomorrow. Botticus, don't you have this game?
Interesting, though, I wonder how often the scores get updated? Because for each of the people I see on there I can see what their latest score was (which is usually lower than the high score they sent me

). So there must be some connectivity going on beyond the manual sending of high scores to people.
It is an interesting game, but I wonder how much of it tests your twitch reflexes as much as your ability to solve the puzzles? It's one thing to solve them, and another to make your hand move the pointer to the right place (especially since speed is such a critical part of the score). I miss several each time because I click in the wrong place by accident

. Don't get me wrong, you have to be pretty sharp to get high scores on this - but you ALSO have to be quick with the controller. In some ways that almost makes the game less accessible to the casual user.
For what it's worth, my 7 year-old son scored an 850 or so the first time, and managed to improve that to just over 1000. Of course, we were all there helping him a bit. For me, on the other hand, I was trying to play with 3 kids harassing me and getting in the way (they kept running in front of the TV). I did the practice mode tonight with all of them asleep though - so I was able to concentrate on those a bit more. My 10 year-old daughter didn't want to play. She told me she wasn't interested in video games any more. Hey, doesn't everyone here think the Wii is marketed at her demographic? I guess not... It's so sad because I bought the GC (and thus got into all this stuff myself) for her 4 years ago and she really liked it for a while.
