Nope, both Big Lots I go to, the shelves are pretty bare in the games section. Just the usual old titles that don't ever seem to sell. I swear some of them have been there 7 plus months.
 
Same here. I've only been checking the one closest to me but it's easily been almost 2 months and still no Kane & Lynch.

edit: Crap, I just realized Kane & Lynch shipped late April.

That's an awesome compiliation, the porting is absolutely perfect. Installs in XP and plays without a hitch, good quicksave feature, very stable, and recognized my gamepad right away without any fiddling.

Yeah same here, they've filled up the racks with cheap DVDs but haven't put any new games out in a while.
 
I found a copy of SEGA's The Club at the Sandy Plains Big Lots store in Marietta, GA. $6. Keep in mind that if you find this, it does not have a CD-Key included and you'll have to get in contact with SEGA Support to get one.

The stores in Dunwoody (Roswell Rd.) and Kennesaw (Wade Green) had Unreal GOLD Edition for $6.

The Big Lots in Waycross, Ga. is pretty stacked with games. I saw Space Siege, Stranglehold, The Club, Roogoo, You Are Empty and one City of Heroes.

I might pick up Stranglehold.

I can't wait until Simcity Societies comes for 4 bucks.

As far getting a CD key for The Club, I had to scan in my Biglots receipt and email it to the representative. He emailed the code shortly. Went fairly well after a day or two to respond to the initial message I sent them through their website.
 
I no longer have my BL receipt so it could be interesting. I guess I could scan any BL receipt with a $6 game on it as the UPCs are universal.

What versions are on this? For example, there was a version of Castlevania with better graphics than the NES version. And of course, Castlevania 3 was gimped in the US.

I didn't have my receipt so I took a picture of my disc next to the email requesting the picture and they sent me a code very quickly.

I'm pretty sure they're just straight ports of the US cartridges, at least that's what they seem to my eyes. Of course they're kind of ugly now, but the gameplay is super tight.
 
Saw 9 Guitar Hero World Tour Bundles (Xbox 360) for $139.99 in Gaylord, MI. PC game selection was minimal, looking for Safecracker 2. Wife beat the first and would like the 2nd one.
 
My Big Lots had the new shipment of PC games in. I picked up Jericho for $4. I also picked up an old anime movie called Memories for $3.
 
My Big Lots received a new shipment of games but I did not see a lot of new titles. I did find Puzzle Quest for $6 but most everything else I had seen at least once before.

I will check again this weekend to see if my BL has put anything new out on the shelf.

Picked up Guild Wars: GotY Edition for $6 at a Big Lots in Springfield, MO. It was the only copy they had and the slip cover was pretty beat up. They had lots of games, but the only other two I remember are PREY and Loki: Special Edition in a tin box.

Hey how can you tell it's the GotY edition? Half-price books had a bunch of Guild Wars copies last time I was there that were sort of in a double-size box with flaps that opened on both sides. I wasn't sure what version it was, exactly.

I was at BL over the weekend and it seemed like they finally put out the last shipment of games. I ended up getting The Experiment and Puzzle Quest.

Picked up a copy of Universe at War and 30 Days of Night for 6$ each at the Goose Creek, SC Big Lots.
They had a copy of Guild Wars GoTY, UaWs, some Just Cause, Tomb Raider: Underworld, and a Quake Wars. Had some 6$ copies of The Simpsons movie, Hitman, Lost in Translation, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, and more. Worth taking a look at your local store.

Mount and Blade is pretty good, but internet feedback overrates it considerably. It has a really fun melee combat mechanic but big battles tend to be completely mindless, canned animation spamfests and the overworld balance, including quests, money raising, tactical AI, the economy... everything else is pathetic.

As it stands though, it is an amazingly fun game for the first 10 or so hours of gameplay where you don't see its flaws. Grab the demo, it is the whole game only level capped at level 7.
