For those of you with a Bigg's nearby, I saw that they had dropped the price of Ninja Gaiden down to $19.99 when I was there today.

Shadow Hearts is now available for $14.99 as well.

What no Bigg's icon?

Well Ninja Gaiden came out nearly a year ago, so unless you're willing to wait for a year after release date...especially for an awesome game like Ninja Gaiden :p
 
Well, since my first question is, "what's a Bigg's," I take it I don't have one near me. =\ Dammit dammit. If anyone grabs an extra copy, PM me and let me know, I would love to score that game at that price! ^_^

I thought Bigg's was only a supermarket like Kroger. I may have to take the drive south to Cincy to check it out, among other stoes we in the Dayton area are so deprived of (Micro Center, Guitar Center, Dave & Busters, etc).
 
Good, now maybe the price will finally drop everywhere. I want it but refuse to pay more than $20. I am about getting that way with all games. And as far as waiting a few months to a year to play games after they come out. What's the big deal? It is still the exact same game.

Saving money is just plain smart. The older you get the more you will see this.
 
SCORE! Thanks Shipwreck. I went over to the Biggs here in Eastgate (just east of Cincy) and they had it on the shelf marked at $49.99. I asked the clerk to scan it and BOOM $19.99. They had four copies and I bought one...Now I see others were wanting it too :( Tell you what, wannabepunktony, vpr and maybe someone else. Ill go back there tomorrow if I can on my lunch break and if not, on monday and if those three are still in there, Ill pick them up and sell them to you for cost and shipping if you want them. Thank Admiral Ackbar for this, because he picked me up a game once the same way and I have never forgotten his kindness in doing that...so in honor of him, lets hope I can get the others! :)

The heck with that...I didnt even notice the photoshop stuff cause I was trying to figure out...what the hell IS that thing on that animals head? Pancakes? Its freaking me out!

I feel the same way. I have at least 5 good games still sealed that I can play until the games I want drop in price.
 
anyone know how much GR gives for this? i'll have to ask the next time i'm in thier cause i pass both stores everyday anyway SOOOOO.

Meijer employees are unionized.

Bigg's has actively blocked their workers from forming a union as long as they've been around.

...I'm just pointing out a major difference between the two. I'm certain that will really get in nobody's way of buying Ninja Gaiden for $20, however.
 
Ok. Just got back from Biggs...they still had the three copies of Ninja Gaiden..even though they had pulled the shelf sticker off them the other night when I got one, they didnt replace it and the game was still MARKED at $49.99. I only picked two up though cause I really hate just cleaning them out of a great deal. wannabepunktony and vpr have first dibs. Do you think $24.50 shipped is fair? That should cover the cost and the shipping with DC. If wannabepunktony, vpr dont want them at that price, then what about you Dijital? Just PM me and we will get it going. And again, send a shout out to Admiral Ackbar ;)
 
Man, and I thought I was doing something nice for someone :/ wannabepunktony, vpr if neither of you get back to me about wanting this game by Friday Evening, Ill either sell it to someone else or return the Ninja Gaiden(s) to Biggs. Vpr...you had messaged me the other day saying you wanted it and asked for my info, but I see that after 4 days, yo still havent checked your PMs. Hurry!
 
$20 is a great price for NG, but I think I'm going to wait until the PH version of NG comes out just in case the PH version has the hurricane packs on the disk.
 
I noticed that Shadow Hearts is also $14.99 at Bigg's and it's the non-promo version. Cincinnati Mills location has a few copies left for those interested.
 
jesus..I'd pay $70 for Ninja Gaiden without batting an eye, even WITHOUT the hurricane packs.
