Mario + rabbits is literally on the last page of the ad. Easy to miss.

Really glad I didn't hold off on the Explorers edition. The 20% from prime will cause it to be less than Walmart.

I can't believe not one store has Mario Kart 8 for the Switch on sale.

Guess I'm going digitally for that one.

Happy to see Nier get a discount and a few Switch titles as well (really hoping Pokken or Arms goes on sale). Hopefully Amazon will end up discounting some vita games and some less popular 3DS games that are not mentioned here.

 
Walmart just threw a wrench in my plans. Was going to do most shopping at Best Buy but hat crystal dual shock and 2K Switch, plus $12 games, are tempting

Maybe. Another place to keep an eye on is Newegg. They usually have a Master Pass deal that coincides with their black Friday deals. Usually they do 20 or 25 off of 200. Assuming the PS4 goes down to 200 you might be able to get one for 175 with no tax for most of us.

Dark Souls 3 has been completely forgotten. I also see no deals on deus ex mankind divided, mirrors edge catalyst or far cry primal.

 
Damn, no PS4 Pro deals at all. I'll probably just hop into Target on Friday to buy an Xbox Live sub for $50 and then get the 20% off to buy a Pro later on. The coupon lasts until December 10th in case a deal pops up before then.

My only worry about that coupon, is that if it is similar to the one from last year, it is going to have a bunch of restrictions.

I'm worried about that as well. Do you remember what the restrictions were from last year? I do need to get a new XBL sub so it's not going to be too much of a loss for me if consoles are excluded.

I was hoping to find Tales of Berseria, Final Fantasy XII, and Road to Boruto for cheap. Don’t think that’s happening anymore. Kind of a bust for me this Black Friday. Might spend around $20 but with Battlefront 2 coming out and paid for, probably not.
 
Gamestop might have Tales of Berseria for sale. Just been basing this on their past sales though. 

I'm guessing you don't want to spend $29 for FF XII at Walmart?

 
Tomb Raider is listed twice under Best Buy.  One is Rise of the Tomb Raider and the other is Rise of the Tomb Raider 20 Year Celebration.  Difference?

That's a bit of an older title. It's also been on sale before, sometimes in the $17-20 range. If you want a physical copy of that title, you are probably going to want to get it sooner, as opposed to later. It's less likely to find on store shelves now. In another year, it may be impossible. A used store like GameStop is probably your best bet at this point, or perhaps an on-line retailer like Amazon. You won't be seeing it available from any of the big-box stores, they've moved on from that title.

Also, the PS4 Pro is a soft-launch console that only came out recently. I wouldn't expect any bargains for it this year. Sony has no need to sell it hard, not with the standard/slim PS4 models selling as well as they are. The best you can hope for is to see it bundled in with a high-end 4K television.

 
So just making sure I'm not missing something...there are ZERO Nintendo Switch deals right?  Or am I missing somewhere having a gift card deal or something like that?

You’re right on both accounts here. I’d like to grab FFXII at $20 if I can but I doubt that will happen till next year.

A deal on Tales of Berseria is what I'm looking for the most as well. Still holding out hope for a deal from Gamestop. Both Tales of Xillia games had Black Friday deals from Gamestop in the past.

Sometimes you have to lower your expectations as far as some of these deals are concerned. Gravity Rush 2 doesn't seem to have gotten as large a print run as some other titles, and probably won't see nearly as many clearances. Ditto for the Nonary Games collection. You would have better luck with larger-run games such as Yakuza 0, Nier Automata, and Final Fantasy 12. But even those are all fairly recent, and would be more likely found in the $25 and up range around Black Friday.

I confess that several of these games probably SHOULD be discounted, and their lack of clearance pricing is a bit odd. At the same time, my tolerance for certain deals has risen somewhat. I've taken to snagging games around $25 instead of holding out for $20 pricing, especially for critically acclaimed or hard-to-find darlings. A lot of the titles mentioned are already on my shelf.

Black Friday is often used as a clearing house for games that had too much stock ordered in their initial runs. It's actually common for more obscure items to get overlooked by big-box retailers, as they often don't have enough stock on hand to bolster the Black-Friday shelves. You would have better luck at a retailer like GameStop, who is more likely to put obscure Japanese games on sale.

Yeah. I suppose you’re right. It just sucks with all the games I got last year for $8 (Mega Man Collection, Divinity, Talos Principle) or $15 (Dark Souls 3, Arkham Collection, Ezio Collection, Doom, Skyrim). And seeing some of them on lists this year for MORE money, it makes no sense.
 
the Macbook Pro 2017 that I want is going to be 1299 for BF(Its actually 1299 now but the EDU coupon does NOT stack unfortunately) Ive never purchased a mac before but on Cyber Monday do they usually go down in price even more or stay the same? If it does go down in price can I get it matched at best buy.com?

The $8 titles were pretty much an unannounced thing. At least to me. Maybe it'll happen again at Target.

So got a question maybe you guys could help out

On the best buy ad, it says free xbox one wireless controller with purchase of a select xboxone 500gb console

They have the xbox one system..just the system for $189.99..does that mean I get a free controller if I get a that one..I know they have a bundle for $229.99 that comes with madden 18..but the ad does not specify which system it applies to??? The xbox one system for $189.00 is a 500GB model...so..??? Free controller??
