Went to Gamestop for B2G1 and picked up Uncharted 4 (PS4), Mega Man Legacy Collection (PS4), Portal 2 (PS3) and renewed the rest to renew my Pro rewards for $50 via giftcard. I had about 20 cents left so I bought a $15 Xbox card  which I will use on a good Xbox 360 sale/DLC unless I end up getting an Xbox One first.

Would have bought some Wii U but I'm having a hard time remembering what I already owned.  #backlog

BTW, what's the deal with USB 3.1 C ports?  I was looking to get a new laptop since this one is slowly starting to go and I noticed some machines have them and some don't.   I thought it had something to do with charging, but then I saw it only applies to Macs. Is this something I am going to need in the future or am I fine getting a machine without the port?

I'm such an idiot. I had that in my cart but I choked because I already spent way too much this year.

Then I realized you can never have too much space, and I've paid at least that much for half the TBs and now of course it's all sold out.

I see Amazon has a 3TB for $69 (lightning deal or whatever), but now I'm hesitating again. By the time I decide, it will be gone. God, I hate being poor/cheap.

As an aside, I'm watching Gilbert right now and it's kind of funny that someone who is so famous is so notoriously cheap (taking the bus, hoarding free samples, bathroom supplies from hotels). Good movie, by the way.

I third this. I haven't seen anything good on Crapazon this year. They seem to be getting worse. The only thing decent was the $350 white PS4 Pro with Destiny 2, and I didn't have the money.
Amazon used to have good unique deals but they have been lazy for years and just match. Add the fact that their stock runs out quick due to limited stock for lightning deals and you have a unreleased retailer to shop at

Edit: Never mind, accidentally reposonded to a post from 2 weeks ago...

So... have I missed the Gravity Rush 2 deals, or is that game really not on sale below $30 anywhere? Other than used through GameFly it looks like GR2 is holding its $35-40 price.

Would love a heads up if someone is aware of a deal, thanks!

My final haul was Mario + Rabbids Day 1 Edition for $29, DB Xenoverse 2 (Switch) for $19, and I just grabbed the last Prey (PS4) my Walmart had for $19. I got lucky and found someone’s ditch pile with Prey in it.

while its very YMMV, its been reported to be found on clearance at walmart. I actually picked it up for $7

My "haul" ended being a Google Home Mini and Wolfenstein The Two Pack (PS4).

I'm hoping that next year (or sooner!) RE7 Gold Edition, Assassin's Creed Syndicate/Origins, and/or Dark Souls III: The Fire Fades drop to $15 or lower.  Depending on whether or not I end up liking Wolfenstein and South Park: The Stick of Truth (scored a PS4 digital download for $5 on eBay a couple weeks ago!) I might add their respective sequels to that list.

its so weird how syndicate was $8 everywhere last year and nobody wanted it, now its 3 times that and everybody wants it.

Having just finished The fractured but whole, I can tell you stick of truth is vastly superior.
Personally I'm enjoying Fractured much more so far, if just simply for the improved combat system and other quality of life upgrades gameplay wise.

It felt so easy to break the difficulty on Stick of Truth, especially with a Jewish character.

Did anyone manage to get batman telltale games for the switch at Walmart?
All the nearby gamestop were sold out, so I went next door to walmart. The worker got it from the case and it wouldn't scan, so he looked something on his phone aND told me that he can't sell it because it'seems not even supposed to be out . Kinda odd, but I did manage to get Mario and rabbids on sale. He was surprised to still see it on sale and couldn't guarantee me the sale price even though it was black Friday lol.

I was thinking about picking up a quick, last-minute deal at Square-Enix, but their shipping costs more than the actual item itself. Dicks.
Always been like that. They had a huge sale like last month when their new site went up, and I was looking at buying some books and after shipping I could have still gotten most of them for like $10-$15 cheaper post shipping costs on Amazon.jp

What the hell else does anyone buy at Kohl's though? I guess I shouldn't judge as I've never set foot in one, but it sounds like the typical "Old Navy" type generic clothing store from people I've spoken to. Like you should be expecting to find those corny American flag t-shirts, khaki shorts, and off-brand household items made in China.
Kohl's is legit. . .for just about anything but games. One of the better deals I got lately was dearfoams for $10 a month ago (although those things get super warm lol). You can find ridiculously good deals on clothing in their clearance sections and I tend to daisy chain kohl's cash to get things for $1-2 after stacking coupon codes. Only downside is some of their best deals can be locked behind their cardholder program, which I refuse to sign up for. Will never sign up for a CC just for a deal, ever.

It was released on 11/14/2017. Oddly, walmart.com says it's available for preorder for $25. https://www.walmart.com/ip/Batman-The-Telltale-Series-NSW/885638682

Total Spent ~$600

It was released on 11/14/2017. Oddly, walmart.com says it's available for preorder for $25. https://www.walmart.com/ip/Batman-The-Telltale-Series-NSW/885638682
The funny thing is when I mentioned other stores have it available for sale. I get a generic response of it not scanning. Oh well, wasn't going to make a big deal over it. It's actually cheaper on Xbox marketplace. I just saw it had been released recently and wanted another switch on sale that also happened to be batman.
I could tell that guy couldn't care at all and didn't want to be there. That section used to have a friendly staff, now I sometimes get that guy who attempts to refuse a price match lol.

Black Friday stuff:

2x XBox 360

Injustice 2

3 games for XBox 360 + 1 Wii game (4 for $8)

Fingerlings, Tamagotchi & GS bag (for me -- they didn't have Crash Bandicoot Pop in my store)

Lego Ninjago Movie for Switch

Wolfenstein 2 Pack

The Last of Us

Uncharted Collection (not that great a deal but hubby wanted to play it before he started the 4th and LL... he's a completist)

Madden & NBA for 360 from Redbox (for personal use)

Lego City Undercover for Switch

Zelda Explorer's Edition for Switch

Got some small appliances from Macy's, and a few things we need from the house... and clothes.

Skipped because hubby thinks prices will go lower within the next few months/year(s) and we have that backlog above + other games to finish:

Wolfenstein 2 (also because he hasn't played Wolfenstein 2 Pack yet)

Sonic Forces

Persona 5

Nier Automata

South Park

Mario + Rabbids (this one will have to be around the $15 mark before he bites.. he hates Rabbids for some reason)

FIFA 18

Skipped the PS4 deal this year too because we got the limited edition gold one a few months back (and no, he's not trading it in)

The couple that plays (and hoards games) together stays together lol

I get the feeling that everyone who couldn't find or thought Target's cheap games were sold out didn't look further than electronics. For my store at least, they were way down the aisle next to pallets of game systems on a carboard shipper with slots marked by pricepoint. I couldn't find the games in electronics either until I asked. Guy pointed me directly to them and nobody was even looking at them lol.

Just curious why so against getting a CC? Unless you tend to overspend or don't pay it off each month, kohls and target are the few cards that are really worth signing up for, free shipping, better discounts, etc...

Looks like everywhere local sold out of Horizon Zero Dawn, before I buy it digitally, anyone know of a retailer that still has it for $20 and would ship?

Personally I'm enjoying Fractured much more so far, if just simply for the improved combat system and other quality of life upgrades gameplay wise.

It felt so easy to break the difficulty on Stick of Truth, especially with a Jewish character.
The difficulty was a joke. Still loved the game though

In addition to games, I bought pillows and pants.

Opening too many CC's can be bad for credit and I prefer to only have one or two that offer unlimited rewards on cashback offers. I don't really see a need for a Kohl's card or Red card as they offer little in terms of real benefits to me.

Actually having less CCs is worse for credit.

So i guess because i missed out using the ebay promo code from Thursday that lasted 15 mins and the code stopped working, ebay sent me a email with a we are sry code $10 off.  Was able to pick up a 12 month xbox live on ebay for $30 which was to good to not pass up.

Was hoping for a $30 GT Sport and a $10 Beserk 😕 oh well. I have 11 games in my backlog and a VR headset.

Also, can't get over the fact Dunkirk isn't out yet.

Well the clock has struck midnight by me ending this years black friday. I didn't turn into a pumpkin so I'll be back next year. Wal-Mart 29 dollar Zelda was my prized purchase this year.

Not sure about your Kohls, but mine here in Port Chester, NY has expended this section a lot. It used to be maybe 5-10 bargain bin games, but now they have games behind glass, systems behind glass, and theres maybe 25 games there or so higher quality ones and bargain bin ones mixed. Usually the coupons cannot be used on this stuff, but sometimes if you connect to the in-store wifi a coupon pops up to use it. It's completely random though.

I was holding out for a few items. Hopefully cyber Monday will have some deals on digital currency if that's what you want to call it. I'm needing to get iTunes , Google play cards mainly. I wouldn't mind to pick up some cards for my consoles to use during the upcoming Christmas sale.

So finally caught up on the thread. Glad everyone had a smooth Thanksgiving.

My haul
Wolfenstein 2(PS4)
Shadow of War(PS4)
Rayman(Switch)
NBA 2k(Switch)
Xbox One S(for daughter)
DualShock 4(for son)
Sims 4(for daughter)
Black Dickies hoodies(for work)
Workout Gym(for son)
Switch Premium Upgrade Bundle(wanted a second dock)
Ipad(gift)
Sony e900x hdr tv
New tv stand
Shopvac

Overall a pretty easy experience. The worst part had to be the check out on the GameStop website. It took me 3 hours Wednesday night. I considered grabbing that 8tb hdd and the microsd card but couldn’t pull the trigger. Most of the other games on sale I already own. And I don’t really buy physical movies.

A few questions:

What’s an Everdrive?

Planet Earth II is coming to Netflix next month, it will be in 4K hdr correct? Just seen a few people picking it up. I just purchased my first 4K tv and I’m going to be looking for content to test it out.

Target has an iTunes deal in store: buy one card, get the second one 30% off. Family Dollar has $25 Google Play cards for 15% off.

I lost out on so much waiting on the PSN flash sale that never came... Every store around me sold out on Uncharted 4.. All I managed to get was Yakuza 0 digitally for $30 as planned.

Hoping Cyber Monday has something for $20 with my name on it.

What size tv did you get, also what was total of it all.

Cuphead
Super Lucky’s Tale

Microsoft Store:
Black the Fall
Halo Wars 2
The LEGO Ninjago Movie Videogamr
Madden NFL ‘18 (GOAT Edition)
NBA 2K18 (Legend Edition)
Planet of the Eyes

What size tv did you get, also what was total of it all.
Got the 55in, it was $999. Had over $600 in B.B. gcs and certs, so it was only $440ish after tax.

If you meant the total of everything, I’m not really sure. The Xbox and most of the games were pruchased at GameStop with credit. The tv stand was $100.
