A: No one knows but here is a prediction list based on release / leaks in the last few years to give you an idea of possible release dates.

Q: When are stores open?
A: Look above for store times located next to store ads.

Q: Can I price match on Black Friday?
A: Price Matching differs from store to store. Here is the list of stores with if they PM or not on BF. You can also go here for further explanation on BF policy per store.

Q: Does Best Buy's GCU stack with Black Friday items?
A: No. GCU does not stacked with Black Friday items. Best Buy does have early Black Friday sales if you are an Elite / Elite Plus member. Sometimes it has shown to work within the early minutes of those early BF deals popping up. But it's YMMV.

Q: Does GameStop's Elite and Elite Pro stack with Black Friday items?
A: Yes but only for used items that will be in the ad.

It did! I managed to snag a Switch and MK8D for the same exact price I would have paid for the bundle. Not only do I get the game physically, but between this and a couple other early deals, I managed to finish all my BF shopping today! My OCD thanks you.

Highly recommend that anyone with a Meijer nearby consider the deals they have going this week. In some weird twist, Meijer has been the place that I've purchased my last two consoles.

Wasn't sure it this has been asked or not, but is Marvel's Spider Man for PS4 going on sale on Black Friday? Game only, no bundles or anything like that!

Also, anything on Battlefield V? Or no? Since it's just being released!

Spider-Man isn't on sale anywhere next week as far as I see. But it's 40 on eBay today, and people may sell their bundled copies cheap... You can probably get it for 30.

The Shield TV is the best streaming device. It does 4K which is a big deal these days, and there will likely be a Black Friday deal for it somewhere. If you're not willing to drop between $150 to $200, Amazon has been having sales on its Firestick and Fire TV products over the past few days. But I love my Shield TV!

yes. like the one fire box work with 4k with hdr. but they dam near hide the fact on packaging. seeing most don't list it.

overall jose is correct. with the shield. seeing all box or device. for 4k are pass-thru . but the shield is not. it can do 4k playing outright.

just letting you know 4k as been butcher with mis facts all over the place. and consumer grade 4k still has no standard body.

 
That kohl's ad looks way different than the one I got in the mail. Mine shows the ps4 slim + spider man bundle for $200 with $60 in kohl's credit. Damn. With the $10 off coupon they give that's insanely tempting. A ps4 and spider man for $130.. I just have to ruin Thanksgiving

$10 off coupon? Promotions don't work on Sony products, only Kohl's cash and Yes2You rewards do.
 
It's worth it if you're going to buy clothes or other products from Kohl's that you'd buy anyways. Promotional discounts don't work on Sony products though.

How was it the same price? I thought it was $300 for the switch and $30 for Mario kart, plus tax. The black Friday bundle is $300 plus tax for both.
 
Do we know if any stores are selling the PSVR bundles tomorrow instead of BF? PS Blog says that the sales on the Spiderman bundle, VR bundles and controllers are supposed to start tomorrow.

I hope so, really I'm hoping the psvr bundles are at least available from BB early access.

I'm annoyed D3 expansion is on sale for PSN and not XBL.

I've used an S7 the last 2 years and battery has been good other than when I'm doing extensive streaming. Normal use has been more than a day's battery life.

Its for the best the $10 coupon wont work on it anyway. That would drop your cost below 200 and you would lose $15 in Kohl's Cash. Unless you bought $10 more filler.

That's great news! Glad it worked out for you.

Definitely. Meijer's has been a good place to get consoles for years. Haven't run into any real problems with the ones I got from there.

They should be at Gamestop. As for best buy I imagine they would be too but only for elite and elite plus
 
Too many games in the backlog already.

Not really interested in buying anything but a 1-4tb external hard drive for my X1 and a 256-400gb microsd card for my Switch.

Saving a fee bucks on a game and never playing it is wasting $15-30.

Edit: NVM, I'm too weak. Assassin's Creed Odyssey for $30 at Best buy is an easy purchase.

Jose , can you recommend a mid grade stream/TV device? I have a nice Samsung 1080p(2nd gen LED) but i don’t need the ultra 4K res....
Is there one that does HD tv receiving as well, if you dont mind ?

I think all that's left is a laptop. Use it for recording video and console streaming while away from home.  Looking for a good video and sound editing software to add intros/outros, input pictures or text. I'm not worried about internal storage.

From some of the bf ads, here is the current selections:

wally world - chromebook - p5

bestbuy -  chromebook - p1

dell - 2-in-1 inspiron 11 3000

there's dellrefurbished with a bunch of bare bones laptops

OBS seems popular. I'll need to look more into its editing functions.

Looks like windows 10 is needed for the external elgato but the editing software isn't that good.

I do like watching upupdowndown and gdq. Descent editing in uudd.

 
That MS deal for a free digital code for "Gears 4" with any console, bundle or controller purchase is obviously at the MS Store, but also "participating retailers", from what I read online this week. Anyone know which retailers will be offering this? Can't find any info.

 
Does Kohls go live midnight Wednesday night?

Want the Switch deal and after talking to a manager about how early they line up I'm thinking online is my only hope

It is probably because they just released a "Pre-Black Friday" advertisement that will start tomorrow and runs thru CyberMonday (26th). They want to capitalize on that sale for now and will eventually release a "Doorbuster Deals" addendum sales ad early next week.

There was also a 10% Mperks coupon that stacked with it. So $30 off the Switch + $30 for Mario Kart evened it out at $300 + tax.

Technically, I could have used another game, but pretty much everything else is on my Christmas list and my family gets perturbed if I start buying that stuff this late in the game.
