Q: Does Best Buy's GCU stack with Black Friday items?
A: No. GCU does not stacked with Black Friday items. Best Buy does have early Black Friday sales if you are an Elite / Elite Plus member. Sometimes it has shown to work within the early minutes of those early BF deals popping up. But it's YMMV.

Q: Does GameStop's Elite and Elite Pro stack with Black Friday items?
A: Yes but only for used items that will be in the ad.

This Black Friday feels downright civil compared to past Black Fridays. (And it's only Thursday.) Good on retailers for wising up and offering most discounts early so we don't have to trample people to death on the day...figuratively speaking.

I'm feeling kinda depressed because I didn't have any must-buys this year (I was hoping for Spider-Man at $27 or so). I'm bummed about the vanilla versions of AC:Origins and Shadow of War that I bought last BF, still sealed and sitting precariously on a shelf. Meanwhile, I could have gotten the deluxe versions of both for less than what I paid last year. Same goes for FFXV (Royal is now less than what I paid for vanilla). Even stuff I need, like that $80 4TB external HD from Best Buy, I've had think twice about.

It's funny that I usually won't consider most titles for $20, but $15 is when I stop and take notice. I'm thinking about Monster Hunter World at Target, but I don't know if it's something I really want right now. And I know I'll have all year to regret it once prices go back to normal and/or it goes out of stock.

Ah well. Hope everyone got everything they wanted. Enjoy your turkey day, everyone.

Wonder if I should gamble on Fallout 76 going on sale again at Best Buy before my 45 day return period is up to avoid the hassle of rebuying/returning. Probably a safe bet since it's $20 off a week after release.

Anyone have feedback on the switch cases? Can it fit in dock mode?

Is Kirby worth $40? Heard it was too easy.

May I suggest getting the TCL 5 series @ BB. It is $399.99, but that will get you Dolby Vision which 4 series don't have.

EDIT- Have anyone went to Wal-mart yet? I want to see if I can get my 4k movies since I don't want to wait for shipping since I recently got a 4k tv.

I'm *this* close to ordering some games from Gamestop for my new PS4 (which didn't get here last night like I feared, but I got a $30 gift card out of it, so I can wait two more days I guess). I have The Last of Us Remastered, Uncharted Collection, Uncharted 4 (pre-owned), and HZD Complete in my cart. I'm just trying to hold on and see if Amazon plans on doing anything for Black Friday besides putting their Echo and Fire products on sale and matching God of War. I'd also kind of like to go to the store so I could have the games this weekend and not have to wait until next week but I've never gone out on Black Friday and don't particularly want to this year.

Can't go wrong with either one...

-Polk Audio T series speakers (2 floorstanding, 2 bookshelf, center channel, and a subwoofer) to replace my current 5.1 set. $390 shipped, and all but one floorstanding has already been delivered.

Going to get Spyro for $30 at GameStop, and that might be it this year.

I have the Vizo M series 55TV. Super happy with it. Tough to be the performance in that price range

Vizio e series has been reviewed better. I know the 50" will sell for 350 (or less) through dell and it comes with a 100 dollar gift card

I don't have a Costco membership. Plus, I'd rather not have it shipped since I've already had to thwart a package thief in the past few months here.

Holy cow is Vizio a mess with all of their series designations. Looks like it goes P, M, E, D or P, E, M, D as far as high end to low end. I don't need the smart TV functions since I have a 40" Samsung JU6500 or some such from two years ago. I pretty much just watch over the air TV and sports streams from an HDMI-connected laptop. It looks fine but a 50-55" would be a decent upgrade since I could probably still get a couple hundred for selling my old TV somewhere.

Rtings does seem to really like the E-series better than the M-Series for HDR gaming, which is useful for me.

After deliberating for a while I decided to get the XBOX One X Battlefield V bundle (comes with a free extra controller as well) for $430 and the LG 27UK600 4k monitor for $350 from Best Buy. Add those to the 4 Blu-Rays I ordered earlier from Best Buy and I think I'm done for this year.
