All you L4D2 guys should look into buying a 4-pack through steam and finding some friends to give it to. I bought a 4-pack and it made it $33.75 a copy, really cant go wrong with that price.

It doesn't unfortunately, Steam only. Best Buy it is for 360 users.

I myself don't feel like going through the trouble for the 4-pack, but I certainly don't plan on playing on consoles, so maybe I will go for the 4 pack...or maybe I'll hope another sale shows up, unlikely as that is
 
Wow. Looks like CC dying really has had an effect on BF deals. Bestbuy is a joke. Unless walmart pulls some crazy deals, Ill be in the old navy line, if I even decide to go out.

Fallout has been 20 every now and then and re5 is 20 at GC.

Good thing GC stores are plentiful and lots of stores are gonna have L4D2 for $35!
 
It almost seems to me like Walmart and Amazon are just waiting for their time to "drop a bomb" on the competition! I'd love to see some Amazon/Walmart battles similar to COD MW2 ($10 gift card, then $15, then $20 is the perfect example). I've yet to see the $5 Blu-rays, $10-$20 Wii games, and $15-$20 PS3 Games (where's this year's Brothers in Arms for PS3?) I was expecting.

One thing I'd love to see is L4Dead for $10 on PC (only will happen if L4Dead 2 is $30 on PC at Amazon or Walmart). I'm one of the few that has held out for a price anywhere near the $14.95 Amazon offer (that sold out in seconds!) during last year's Black Friday offers.

I've seen a few decent deals ($35 for DA Origins on PS3- Best Buy; $4.99 for AC, Bioshock, and S.T.A.L.K.E.R. on PC- I own both S.T.A.L.K.E.R. and Bioshock already, but at those prices they're "gift-worthy"), but nothing anywhere near Amazon's Lightning Deals or even Target's deal on Dead Space for $30 (when it was retailing for $60) last year.

what stores? Last year amazon had L4D on PC for $20 on BF. dont know if they'll do that again this year for L4D2 though.

I'd also like to include Assassin's Creed 2 on that but that's pretty wishful thinking.
 
I was interested in LFD2 and FIFA 10 at Best Buy, but then I realized they are doorbuster deals, and I don't feel like fighting the hordes of idiots to try and get them, so I'll sit and hope for an Amazon match.

So backed up with games right now after the the recent sales. I may just try and get L4D2 for $35 or $40. Hoping amazon matches the price.
 
So far, the BF ads give me options which makes it better than last year's BF. I'm looking for a good PS3 deal (or 360 deal if it's really cheap like Walmart's $100 limited sale) so Best Buy is my #1 destination so far. On the other hand, I have a $50 credit at Gamestop so I can't wait to see what their ad looks like.
 
Does anyone know if the Best Buy deals will be online as well as in store? I know it says Door Busters, but last year some of their door busters were also online. My brother bought a huge flatscreen online for the same discounted price as in store.

I'd rather sit at home and get L4D2 for $35 than try to pickup one of the 10 copies at the store.

Crap....I have to work the day after Turkey Day. I might get lucky on grabbing Brutal & Dragon Age on the way home considering tons of places are having those 2 on sale.
 
Not a fan so far of the deals this year. The weeks leading up have been better.

Previous years had better/higher in demand titles (at least on games and movies) on sale.

Here is hoping Amazon comes out with better deals and not more of the same.
 
Yay! Fifa 2010 for $34.99. I'm so glad that's one of the games they charged me for during the BB B2G1 deal, and my date still falls within their 30 day PM policy. I'll be PMing that one down to $34.99 for sure.

Fake? None of those games are that amazing or even top rated to be honest. They all seem pretty lack luster for black friday.

Has walmart done this same price matching campaign before?

I saw the commercials and it stated they would match stuff even on black friday.

I'm interested in L4D2 and Forza 3...for some reason I think the line at Walmart would be shorter than at best buy...then I could just price match those games there.
