Can't wait to see what Amazon has to offer an the failure of their site again from not being able to handle the flood of people visiting at the same time and crash like it has in years past.

What kind of PS3 deals does everyone expect they'll have this year? I'm sure they'll go the bundle route also though maybe with at least the freedom to choose the games/movies/whatever else is included. Hell, even just a $100 gift card would IMO beat out B&M stores, especially if you don't have to pay sales tax in the state you're in. Granted there's still shipping cost...

There is a picture as well, I like looking at scans of ads better than bland ol' plain text lists. I'm thinking of picking up that bundle for my birthday/Christmas as well. (both in the same month.)

Not to mention that at BestBuy you will have to get in line outside the store for hours before the sale.

This year, instead of having their customers standing outside, Walmart will open the store at midnight and let people wait inside until the sale at 5 AM.

Does anyone know how this will work? In theory can't you just grab the merchandise you want, and hang onto it/horde it for literally 5 hours until the registers will ring it up as a sale? Unless its behind the glass and then you camp out in front of the nearest register or in front of the display case itself?

Well, ours is a twenty-four hour anyway, and was open prior to the start of the doorbuster sales in previous years, and there were just shrink-wrapped pallets all around the store in the middle aisles. People would find the pallet they desired and form lines at those.

Depends on your gaming habits. BB gives you 2 (still awesome) family type titles, whereas WM gives you 2 mature (and equally awesome) titles and a movie.

I'd give the edge to the WM bundle as Infamous is slowly turning out to be my GOTY. Either way, both bundles are solid.

Completely agree, both bundles are great deals. I would give the edge to the WM bundle just because it includes a movie as well. I am really hoping Amazon has something similar with a choice of games and a movie. I could go for R&C and Batman plus a BD.

As I'm going to be in Pennsylvania for Thanksgiving visiting my fiance's family, I have little desire to wait outside any store in whatever temperature PA gets to. how does the amazon BF ad work? since they are online only, would they even have a paper ad? I am curious as what I've seen so far isn't as impressive as i'd have hoped for...just the ps3 bundles @ WM & BB (speaking of which, can anyone guess as to how many of these bundles the stores will carry?If BB only has say, 10-20 per store it's not worth camping out starting at 4:00pm thanksgiving but since WM is a much bigger chain they could have 20-30 and thus may make it worth going there amongst the madness, tramping deaths and swine flus....can any employees confirm how many bundes there usually are. Thanks in advance to the smart ass who will tell me the fine print on the ad scan tells you how many units/bundles per store

Last year, our 24 hour store actually un-shrink wrapped the pallets and let us all stand by one and employees distributed them BEFORE 5am. To cut down on stampedes towards the pallets, at 4:30, they started passing things out BUT you had to stay in line until 5. Some people left to get more and got away with it, but those who were caught had to return their carts and start over. It was an... interesting way to do things.

Just did the same thing with the XBOX360 giftcard deals
