Walmart has the best deals so far out of all the other BF ads.
It's just a shame that I already have or HAD a lot of the big games that are going to be on sale.
But there are definitely a few games I will be picking up from walmart.
 
Not looking like much for me, a lot of good prices but I want to get the next gen versions of these games so the lower prices don't really help me much :(

 
Very sad on the lack of Wii U games. I'll have to pick up Rayman Legends at GS this year. Rest of the ad looks great, love the blu-ray section.

 
Wal mart has Mostly the same gaming deals as last year. Very disappointed but I'll be able to fix my house up with some of the deals

I was thinking the same thing.
I went last year early in the afternoon and every game I wanted rang up for the sale price (BF price)
There were very few people in the store at that time so I was in and out within about 15 minutes.
 
Damn, I want to use my walmart card, but I'll have to go the store. F that. I'm not about to have my day ruined by a crazy soccer mom

Games inside of the glass cases inside the store had BF pricing hours before the sale started. Picked up Borderlands 2, BF3, and Max Payne 3 at around 5 in the morning before I clocked in. Only possible because the company did not sticker over the old upcs with "special" Black Friday upcs.

That is a crazy guarantee. No more fighting for the 5 items available. Hope this becomes standard sometime in the future. The limited stock is just silly.

Last year people were going early in the morning and early afternoon and getting the Black Friday prices before the sale even started.
Every game was ringing up for the BF prices. It was saving people time and beating all the people in the store when the sale started.
 
I want BF4 and SR4 but im sure as hell not going to step into hellmart on the day of armageddon

Hopefully I can score them online through walmart or Amazon

But I wonder how this even works?

Do you have to find a Walmart employee? And get him/her to print out a card? or I guess they will have 10000 cards on hand? Where they just write down your name?

There will be 10000 people and only 30-50 employees? I think it will still be difficult to get those cards. And at the 1hour and 1 minute mark there will be a lot of pissed off customers?

 
Someone better match anything good they have because I will not be giving them a damn cent.

I know right? I would be happy as hell to be able to walk in/around for other things and not have some crazy MFer's trying to murder others/me. Like last year. I wasn't event trying to go to the games and some asshole and his meth hoe shouldered me and told me to back the fuck off. Seriously?

Last of Us, Beyond 2 Souls, Lego Marvel, Battlefield 4.... that is an easy $100 right there. i'll just ask for cash/gift cards to places to make up for it!

 
Man this thread blew up fast! If the guarantee was just for games I would say it is because they want to clear out last gen stock. If that 1 hour guarantee becomes walmart standard for 2 years it will break anyone selling the same products offline to the point they will have to have the same offer by year 3.

I know that amazon mainly matches everyones deals...and the lighting deals rarely last a few seconds lol so if your lucky..but do they usually match gamestops deals.. i know they did the same deals as best buy and walmart last year but i cant remember gamestop...reason i ask is gamestop is the only 1 with a deal on rayman legends for vita..and tales of xillia for ps3..

Problem being the good deals at WM are all the 6pm-8pm Thursday night deals.  The Friday sales there are fairly meh.  Just me, but Thanksgiving evening is a really firm family tradition so I'd have to pass no matter how cheap.  My point being I just would like to see some better BF sales and not have the all highlights be Thursday night.  Besides, WM is still on my bad list for cancelling my tv order from their website fiasco last week.  

But overall some good deals for those that don't have Thanksgiving.plans or can break away for awhile.  I also like the 1-hour in-stock guarantee and hope that trend continues.  

 
Hopefully all of these will be available online as well, so none of us fellow CAGs risk our lives. They were last year, so we'll see.

Some "insider info" for this year: Every merchandised pallet will be given a distribution kit with arm bands inside that will be passed out to folks interested in any items on said pallet. The aim is to keep people from crowding/killing each other when we pull the cardboard surrounding the merch off when the sale starts. The bands work based on quantity of the actual product on the pallet itself so if you walk up to the associate and ask for a certain game they will be able to tell you how many copies are still left to distribute.

Sat through an hour and a half of training for this event and we're trying to be as orderly as possible. I could go on about horror stories from the last five years.

You probably won't even get in the store in the first hour. I kind of imagine they won't be letting more than a set number of people in and handing out tickets.

 
Out of all the gaming prices, Walmart offers one of the best deals in BF ads 2013.   They really stepped up there game this year compare to last.  My poor wallet..

 
Beyond Two Souls is the gem for me. If you guys can get your hands on BF4 and Fifa 14 for 360, then you have your next gen black friday right there. They trade in at BB for at least $40 or $42 with GCU 10% and 100% until 12/31. If you are a GCU member all PS4 and XB1 games will be $47.99. So every PS4 and XB1 game will be $7.99 at the most plus tax at BB. $25 + $7.99 = $33 + tax for your next gen game. I'll only do it once to get Forza 5 since I already have everything else bought.

Walmarts I go to just let everyone in, no joke its a madhouse. Ever since they all became 24 hours, there hasn't been any lines outside anymore.
 
All I know is that people will get shot during Black Friday at all the Wal-Marts around here.

I really want Pacific Rim on BD for $10.00 but I don't feel like dealing with crazy hoarders on Thanksgiving.
