Went back to Walmart after the craziness and scored the second to last copy of FIFA 14 (Xbox 360) for $25 for my brother for Christmas.  The video game section looked like a warzone, but I found it within the scraps. 

Also, by 7:00, all of the roughly 75 4GB Xbox 360's were gone, but well over 40 PS3's remained.

 
yep. missed the last of us for $25 and i dont feel like going out on black friday to walmart so i guess my g/f is stuck paying $35 for it for me for xmas. lame

 
Best Buy had the PS plus cards in store for $30 even though they were showing for $50 at the site.  They also had a couple of PS Vita games (Sony All Starts, Sly, Resistance, etc) at the store for $20 but the site has $12 so the will match that at the store if you tell them too.

Also saw people walking out with PS4s and X1 at both Best Buy and Toys R Us.

 
Woo what a haul so far.  I have one more thing I want to grab but I have to wait until Midnight.  Hopefully there's enough copies...

So far I've only spent around $265.  

- Playstation 3 Bundle (Last of Us/Arkham Origins) - $217 (that's with Tax and 5 bucks more since I put it on layaway at Kmart)
- Ratchet and Clank: Into the Nexus (Blue Sunday deal, comes with code for Quest For Booty.  Spent about 22 bucks since I wasn't a GCU member)
- Uncharted Collection (Uncharted 1/2, Walmart...earlier today for $15)
- Sly Cooper: Thieves in Time (Walmart, earlier for $10) - roughly 26 bucks for both with tax

- Playstation All-Stars Battle Royale (Best Buy, paid for with gift card from Best Buy console promotion)

- Little Big Planet 2 Special Edition (Best Buy, paid for with same gift card)

- Ratchet and Clank HD Collection (Best Buy, no Walmarts near me had any copies and they couldn't price match it at Best Buy...anyways, paid for with gift card)

- Playstation Plus 1 Year (Best buy, paid for with gift card...total I spent 88 bucks out of a 100 from that gift card)

All and all, I obtained 12 games (if you count the three separate games in R/C HD and the bonus game with Into the Nexus) + any free games for Plus members right now...and a PS3.  One hell of a deal.
 

Only one thing to hunt down now, Kingdom Hearts HD Remix.  Here's to hoping people don't buy it out at Gamestop...

 
well my experience at Walmart didnt go as I had hoped. I was about the 15th in line for games and movies. Had games on one side of this blocked off area and movies on the other. They let 20 people in the section at a time and said you have 2 minutes to grab what you want. well I went towards the games..got all the games I wanted...Beyond 2 Souls, Lego Marvel, and Lego LOTR. Then I went towards the movies..fighting the crowd and the employees were asking people to not walk back in...but you needed to do a 360 turn around to get to both the games and movies.....anyways...I saw tv shows on dvd, bluray movies and dvd movies...couldnt find any tv shows on bluray. Went back to electronics and grabbed the movies and tv shows I wanted......no arrow, person of interest, or supernatural on blu so I was bummed....grabbed person of interest season 2 on dvd and spartacus final season on dvd along with This is the End and Monsters U on bluray. Went to check out and Person of Interest rang up an $39.96. Told the cashier it was supposed to be $9.96. She asks me if I got it from the blocked off area. I lie and say yes. And she looks it over for one of the promo stickes they stick on the bulk sale items. It didnt have one of course and she told me I coudlnt get it for that price. Since it wasnt in the actual print ad I couldnt really argue..plus I just wanted to get the hell out of there. But every other item I grabbed from Electronics rang up at sale price. So Im kind wondering if the items that arent in the physical ad but are shown online are only on sale online such as Arrow season 1 bluray, Supernatural season 8 bluray, Person of Interest season 2 dvd and bluray. Of course I could have just had bad luck.

 
Anybody have a clue what the 360 4GB bundle will go for? There's a good amount of games I'd like to finish on 360, and I have $500 in credit (originally for XBO but I've decided to wait).

Any chance they will match Walmart's $99?

 
This Black Friday on Thanksgiving stuff sucks. I refuse to forgo this Holliday to compete. Also, Black Friday shoppers have gotten extremely video game centric lately. I don't know if it's people buying for themselves or just a bunch of resellers, but damn near everything somewhat decent at Walmart and best buy is sold out, amazon is matching next to nothing, and k mart failed to add half the stuff on sale to their website.

This is just starting to feel like it's not worth the trouble.
 
Just got in on the $25 lightning sale on Amazon for BF4. Pretty much my only target, but I'd like to pick up NBA 2K14... Maybe I'll get in on Madden 25 in an hour for $25.

Yeah, I've got the link open now and am waiting for it to go active. I was already planning to get 2 (on top of the one I'll be getting as an xmas gift) but that just turned into three.

Also, I doubt it'll work, but I'll hold onto them until the next buy 12 months get 3 free...just in case it does still work.

 
Honestly hope my state never gets rid of it's blue laws. Stores are basically banned from opening on thanksgiving which means I don't have to leave my family to go shopping. Now here's to hoping I can brave the crowds and pick a few games up. Thank god my local music store also has the PS+ cards for $30 so I don't have to attempt to get them in the madness tonight.

 
Does anyone know if Gamestop's deals will be available online - I am aiming to get Borderlands 2 GOTY but would like to skip the trip out if possible.  Some of the deals from their ad are already live on the website so I'm not sure which others to expect or when.

 
I stopped by Target tonight not long before they opened. I was out at 8:10 with a Zelda 3DS XL bundle that I paid $158.99 for after tax. I now have three 3DS XLs, including the red/black and black/black I got on Amazon lightning deals earlier in the week for $149.99 each. I only needed two of these, but the Zelda one is MINE! I'm so happy right now.

No way to tell until tomorrow. That some of them are already live makes me suspect they all will be. Keep in mind that some of the deals are marked as Friday only, so that's a reason why they wouldn't show up yet.

 
I was hoping Amazon would match Walmart's BF price for NBA 2K14 on PS3, but they don't even have it in stock. Blah. Guess I'll just have to pay a few bucks more and get it at Fry's.

Hey guys, I have a question. I bought Fifa 14 for the PS4 earlier from Best Buy's website for $49.99, and after I signed in to check out, it went down to $39.99, and it had "Gamer's Club Unlocked" next to it. I was pretty sure mine had expired, but is this common for next-gen games?
 
I hope Gamestop puts the Xillia deal online.  That's my last thing.  I have no idea what I'm going to get to qualify for the free shipping.

 
I'm sure the $22 PS+ codes on Ebay from Newegg are going to sell out crazy fast. STill, there's almost 6k of them...so might be able to grab a couple.

 
Thanks OP. Was in and out of Walmart in 10 min after waiting in line for my xb1. Waited from 5pm to 6pm and was #11 of 22 to get an Xb1. While waiting in line I ordered some games off amazon.

they probably unlocked you until February 2014 as a promotional to try and woo you back. My gamer unlocked membership is set to active as well even though my account expired in July 2013, which I pleasantly found out last Friday when I bought Sonic Lost World for the Wii U for 40 dollars instead of the normal 50 dollar price they normally charge for the game. After looking on my reward zone account, I found that indeed I am a gamers unlocked until February 2014. Pretty awesome of Best Buy to do this. So use that benefit of the membership as much as you want until they take it away, or you reregister your account by paying the $120 dollars for a 2 year membership. :)

Everyone's GCU membership that expired recently was extended to February of next year. One of the new benefits of the program is that all members get 20% off new games. They changed their program up big time, so check out the GCU thread here for more details.
