Was able to grab Sonic Frontier and Just Dance 2023 both for the NSW on Walmart. Both $29. Probably done at this point. Who knows lol

Went ahead and placed an order for Gotham knights deluxe with steelbook lol. Freaking Walmart didn’t even discount it. Odin will pay for these mediocre deals. I’ll make him open his heart to cag’s suffering

Tried to order Elden Ring Xbox digital twice on Walmart and both times canceled due to "location restrictions".

Ended up grabbing the disc version but talk about annoying.

Got my Elden ring order in and it’s expected to arrive Friday or earlier from Walmart. I don’t know why that surprised me.

Has anyone been in a Walmart and seen the vmax Pokémon card sets for $20?

if that is a black friday sale item it doesn't start in store until friday 6am

i cant believe the gamepass sold out, it was what, $2 off for 1 month and $5 off for 3 months?
Not sure where this was, but CDKEYS still has the 3-month (Ultimate) for $27.39. The 1-month have gone up a bit. They are $9.49 (were $8.29 when I bought them yesterday). That's better than whatever this was. I got several codes - all worked just fine on my regular U.S. Xbox account.

Was waiting for my $25 certificate to come from Best Buy, pretty sure on Wednesday, to buy Sifu for $25. And Sifu sold out :(

This happens if you're paying for your entire digital order with gift cards.

Wow, can’t keep up with this thread the past couple days!

I did pick up GTA V PS5 and sonic PS5 today. Maybe I’ll play them by 2027.

also, on a high point. Finally beat Tales of Arise last night at 94 hours time played.

Damn, spending a lot more than I expected this year on NS games... Nier Game of the Yorha is $29 at Amazon and I don't even want it, but bought it anyway. Also not sure about TMNT Cowabunga, Animal Crossing, WarioWare, Digimon Survive (I have zero faith I'll get it for $17 at GS in a few days)... but figure I can buy now and decide/return later.

digimon survive is basically budget disgaea/underwater ray romano.  I'd have a hard time rec it even at 17.  too much text so it's practically a visual novel but the text unlike utawarerurmono isn't as interesting to read.  The plot meanders on for basically the entire game and most of the characters are very stupid to say the least.  And then the game slaps you with a you could have kept certain characters if you do ng+.

This is the most I could finish in about an hour. Thanks to theblueweltall for the link to source data to get it up sooner. I tossed their formatting because I didn't want to deal with graphics...maybe later

Link (hopefully OneDrive cooperates): Games Sheet

This is a view-only link. In the event you want a copy of it, you should be able to get it yourself. If you cannot, message me. I don't intend to open this to editing, as humanity cannot be trusted.

I added the generic DLC stuff from the eShop as a test for formatting, also learning that Nintendo treats a "DLC Bundle" differently than just "DLC," and doesn't have a "DLC Bundle filter." That's why you won't see things like the Expansion Pass for Fire Emblem Three Houses on the list yet. The yellow cells (after row 950 and in column I) are visual aids for me and can be ignored.

Obviously, stuff in green is the lowest price. Anything where the text is red was flagged as being a digital title (in case people are picky about their medium). DLC was put in italics and is limited to what I put in from the eShop. There are filters on there, in the event you only want to see a specific platform (use can filter by text color, if you only want to see digital as well). This should all overcome that I threw this together quickly in one sheet, rather than the old one's multi-sheet design. The filters SHOULD only work for the individual viewing things, but if they are interfering for others, tell me and I'll dump them.

As I have time tomorrow, I'll add more stuff. I intend to add more eShop stuff and look through the OP links to make sure nothing from the source document was omitted. Reply if you have requests on changes and I'll check in as I am able.

you're paying interest?
Let’s weigh the options here :

Actually securing a PS5 (and paying some interest but being able to pay over time)

or

Not securing a PS5.

I think pretty much anybody would choose to have a PS5 if they want a PS5. ‍

Can't afford something so you pay more to have it now (no different than paying a scalper you just have a payment plan now lmao)

or just save and pay retail.

Walmart went pretty hard this year. I had to jump on Link's Awakening and Mario Party. Add in the PAYPAL10 coupon and I got them both for less than the price of one game.

Do you realize how difficult it is to snag a PS5? Even two years this week since launch, you still gotta take any chance you can get.

Not everyone got lucky with a locked-in pre-order months before launch. Somehow I was lucky enough to get pre-orders for both consoles. PS Direct is making things a bit easier now, but I’ve still never seen a console in store once in two years. Have you?

Also, using Affirm is nowhere near as bad as paying a scalper. Have you seen what scalpers have charged for PS5’s?

If not for the fact my Keurig died on me last week I'm not sure I would have cracked $100 spent this black Friday.  Even then, after I used a bunch of best buy reward certs, I'm maybe at $150. I may just pull the trigger on an order at the Maximum Games store I was debating just cause I haven't spent much elsewhere.  Anything that would interest me I either already purchased at a lower price prior to this sale or is not yet cheap enough to get me to budge.

There could still be some surprises on actual Thursday/Friday - and I will likely add a stop to petsmart/petco to my list on Friday which will hit the wallet a bit, but so far shaping up to be pretty weak year for me. Good for the bank account though!

Its not anywhere near as bad as it was before, I literally just checked target and they had 7 in stock at a local store. I've also been seeing them coming in and out of stock alot via here and Slickdeals.

Affirms interest rate says 10%-36% apr but some can get 0% which is why I asked...but if someone is paying up to 36% apr that is about $100 more than a $500 console. So it is current scalper prices.

If I pay it off before the deadline (12 months) I don't pay any interest for the months I skipped which I plan on doing in a month or two so I'm not losing much money. On my way to pick it up this morning.

Luigi's Mansion 3 down to $42 on Amazon, tempting but I'm crossing my fingers for something better for that and Metroid before Christmas.

I wasn't trying to attack you but hopefully you are able to pay it off asap.

Didn't think about it until you mentioned it, but surprised those two haven't been on sale for bigger discounts.

PayPal Credit is interest free if you pay it off in six months for purchases of $99+.

That’s how I took it (as someone who has used Affirm in the past). It’s how I was able to afford a 4K TV. Probably never would have been able to otherwise. Sorry.

PS Direct has had consoles every day this week. You're just impatient and make bad decisions.

Sonic is indeed being received well. Its also a jumbled indecisive mess.

Is that repeat use? I figured it was a one time shot and didn't want to use it on something I'd might return, like a game.
