Ah.

I wandered through my local Target tonight with a $40 off coupon and found nearly nothing left in the game sales. I mean, my coupon would only have worked on some accessories, but it was still a bit surprising to see so much gone.

 
I am totally out of the loop this year but I just looked at gamestop online and when I search everything is listed at crazy low prices.Like $5 for TMNT Collection , $9 for GI Joe Alley Viper figure and xbox white controller $23.99 but then when you click on an item, the item's page shows the higher price. Anyone know if the site is just screwed up or are those real sales later? Thanks

the site is wonky. I see those prices too. For some reason the search prices are always fake prices, never for the actual new/sealed product. Even if you search New only it’ll show you used prices.

 
Not sure if it has been mentioned, but the WOWFRESH code worked for me at Walmart and I was able to get Animal Crossing and Mario Party for $51.48 shipped.
 
walmart shipped my controller from a local store via uber. I wonder how much walmart tips

edit: apparently not enough as i am pretty sure the driver has been at home the last 45 mins as tracking hasn't changed from a residential address lol

Can get TLOU1 for a little over $40 with that WOWFRESH coupon.

Still at least $10 more than I'd pay for it though.  Not in a rush to grab it.

 
lol my walmart order that went out via uber delivery was marked as attempted to deliver and returning to store. walmart fail for using uber...

 
They delivered it to my neighbors apt across the street. WITH NO ADDRESS ON THE STICKER! and only my last name. If they didnt take a photo and I didnt what his porch looks like then how would I even know where it was at??? Luckily I left him a letter since he already brought it in and he dropped it off to my place a couple hours later. So stupid on their part.

This same thing happened to me a couple years ago when they started doing this. I should have just done store pick up. I don't think they get a tip so they don't give a fuck
 
You need to spend at least $50 to get the $10 off if you weren't sure. I just have a Roku Premiere that I am getting for an aunt in my cart but it's only $19 and DISCOVER and PAYPAL10 promo says to add $31 more in my cart. I bought my dualsense from GS with my GS credit so I don't need another one from Walmart. If I didn't have GS credit though, I would definitely be getting it with this discount. I will check if there is anything for at least $31 I want but I doubt it. Rakuten is giving 10% back in a lot of categories so that's something you might want to check out for even more savings.

 
Lol so this is getting ridiculous. I have a Roku and Mario Party superstars in my walmart cart I can pick up on Friday. Other stuff I add like gum and windshield wipers etc can't be picked up until Tuesday and I will be back home on Monday out of state. Have to keep trying to find filler items since I am $2 short.

Hope some retailers are either waiting or holding stock. Not quite understanding how some blurays and games are sold out at Best Buy, and have been so since late last week.

Yeah, I went to 2 different Best Buys last night. They have a LOT of stuff locked up or in back for Black Friday. The first one, I wanted to look at the Asus ROG Flow X13 that's $600 off. It took them 20 minutes, if not more, to locate the floor model they had locked up. Couldn't find the new Pokemon games on shelves. The second store, they had almost every Switch game (like, 95%+) cleared off the shelves. Had to have an employee grab me a copy of Pokemon from the back. The guy at the first store said a lot of stuff was being moved around for Black Friday, and I'm sure that includes holding back stock of things for doorbusters and generally getting people to come by that day.

 
Debating on if I want Horizon Forbidden West for $35 or not. I got Pokémon Violet coming Friday which will be my next game but I don't see Horizon getting cheaper anytime soon (would probably play after Pokémon). I thought the first one was decent but nothing groundbreaking but I generally enjoy open world games. Other than that, nothing really jumping out at me for Black Friday because there isn't any super great sub $20 deals that I don't own already.

 
The walmart coupons only work for me if the items I want are in stock at my local store.  The filler item has to be picked up.  Can I cancel the filler item right after I place my order or just not pick it up with no problems?

Yup. Total duh moment on my part. I just realized this on the way back from lunch. I also need to pick up a Gamestop order that is right by the Walmart but I am thinking Black Friday might be super busy and it would be better off going Saturday. I placed the order. Thanks to Viper for posting the deal. I think I have Mario Party Superstars on my 3DS but I read some quick reviews for Switch and it's all positive so I was all over it for $30 plus the discount.

I cancelled my filler pack of gum right after. As the $10 off was prorated, my discount on the PS5 controller ended up being $9.75.

That games off the floor thing seems to be just BB in general, both of my BBs have all their games on shelves behind the checkout counter, except for those $20 special games.

 
Do you guys think Spiderman PS4 GOTY is good for $15? I have a backlog so I probably should wait but I kind of want to play it already.
 
I want to echo the comments that others have made regarding the quick free shipping/delivery. I placed a massive order at BestBuy and it has been broken up into several different shipments subsequently over the course of this week from multiple shipping entities (Shipt, UPS, FedEx, USPS). I believe everything except my Halo Infinite Steel book (just the case) is expected to arrive by Friday. 

Feels good to know that my shopping is done well ahead of Black Friday and I can focus on the World Cup and college football.

It's an amazing game. If you have a PS4 and don't see yourself getting the PS5, then it's worth it. If you have a PS5 or see yourself upgrading to it, wait to get the PS5 version (either with Miles Morales Ultimate or Miles Morales Base + upgrade).

I don't think it'll get significantly lower. Do you think you're 1-2 years away from playing it? Maybe it gets to $10 or so, particularly used at GameStop, but PS4 copies probably won't even be in print for a whole lot longer either. If you actually want to play it before next Black Friday, I doubt you see it go lower.

 
Sorry if this has been asked before but is bf basically non existent this year? In other words, will there be anymore new sales on Friday or have they already been released?

The economy has been "good" or "not too bad", that's why there are not really hot deals.

And possibly most deals have been showed already, with maybe a few surprises here and there on the day.

I bought it. I've heard the game is great and I don't plan on getting a PS5 until a few more years have passed. Plus I would rather play with the original character design rather than the Tom Holland look-alike in the PS5 version.
