This is what the flyer says

50% off All previously viewed Dvds and Games for Sale

Begins Thursday, August 31 through Tuesday Sept 5

I got this in Millington Tennessee (outside of Memphis) at a normal non GameRush Blockbuster. In fine print at the bottom it says Southern Stores, INC. is a franchisee of Blockbuster Inc.

So this might be only at that store or only at southern stores. Not 100% sure

Southern Stores Inc., a Blockbuster Video franchisee in Memphis and Nashville, has been awarded a contract to manage 36 Blockbuster stores for an investor group in Dallas. The stores are located in Georgia, Alabama and South Carolina. Blockbuster Inc. sold the stores as part of its plan to focus resources on the 70 largest markets in the United States and to franchise stores outside the major metro areas. The deal makes Southern Stores Blockbuster's largest franchise operator with 88 stores.

If anyone gets a list be sure to post it. For the most part they aren't going to be near major markets. BB sold franchises mainly outside of the top 50 markets...
 
Thnks Xev, and tooth, I know they do have some but not that great of ones but they are way overpriced, so I doubt even 50% off would be a good deal still...I'll look though

My BB has way too many games to list, just ask and I can go in and see if they have it

I went and visited the store in the Northills shopping center at the intersection of Pelham, Pleasantburg, and whatever that other road is.

The manager there said that they are corporate owned, and the only franchise stores he is aware of are in the midlands and low-country. (Columbia, Charleston, etc.)

So no go in Greenville.

Well they only had a few and prices sucked, only good one I saw was Burnout Rev. for $35 (w/o sale) and PDZ LE was like $45 used (lol) and same with Full Auto. I can't remember what else they had, but no Dead Rising or Condemend

I'll be picking up Burnout though if my BB does the sale, sorry :(

Like I said. Prices or selection ALWAYS suck at franchise stores.

I wish there was a way we could get a list of the stores that really are Southern Stores Inc.

I'm going to Myrtle Beach next weekend so I'll be driving through Columbia and maybe there are others on the way as well (Florence, maybe MB itself)
 
Since I have unlimited long distance, I called a bunch of stores in Columbia, Florence and Myrtle Beach -- none of them are owned by Southern Stores Inc. (almost all were corporate stores).

Oh, well, guess I won't be able to do this deal.
