WE DO NOT HAVE PDFS OF THE COUPON PRINTING COUPONS, THE COUPONS ARE INDIVIDUALLY NUMBERED

Please keep trade and other off topic chatter to a minimum. It is healthy and unless it gets out of hand or really off topic or in a direction that is heading towards fraud or illegal actions, please do not worry.

The Disney Movie Rewards site has changed, the coupon printing is now associated with your account, printing 2 times per account is now the limit, as well as per computer. This was tested at the end of the Toy Story craze a few months back. If you have a girlfriend with an account or a brother or sister, see if you can have their extra coupons if you need them.

So here are the coupons:

I'm quite happy - I used 2 sets of coupons and got 2 copies of each movie. I'm waiting until the sale is over and putting one set up on eBay - I'm probably going to come out ahead.

TRU manager said I couldn't use the $10 coupons on the DVD case ones, only the Blu-rays case ones. Is this true? I ended up going to BB and pricematched TRU. I'd like to know if the manager was wrong because I plan on writing TRU email if he was BS'ing me. I have very little patience for retail superheroes not accepting perfectly valid coupons.

Was thinking of doing the same and the set is already going for roughly $35-$40 on eBay.

My TRU refused to honor the coupons period. Assholes I tell ya!
The person you talked to at TRU has absolutely no idea what they're talking about - in fact, I'd email or tweet them and bitch.
Definitively planning on calling and complaining or something, I feel bad for the other people that bought it at my TRU.

Went to TRU first but all their copies were the dvd case sizes. Left and walked to the Target next door and they only had TS1 in the bluray size while TS2 was the dvd size. Picked up a copy of both and was able to use the two $10 and two $5 coupon with no problems.

Also picked up 2 cans of juice that was on clearance. So the grand total for everything was $10.87. Kinda bummed that no one had TS2 in the bluray case but for $11, I can't complain.

Might not have to wait. Some guy on Amazon bought a set from me - cost him $45. When he could have bought it from Amazon itself for $35. Yup.

Outstanding.

I'm wondering if the Blu ray version is going to be harder to come by. I mean it's silly that there are two versions that are exactly the same except for which disc comes first, but the blu version seems to be in short supply for most.

I was able to pick up my preorder using the TS1 $10 coupon and the TS2 $10 coupon and had no trouble at the Reno TRU. Thankfully I noticed that they handed me the DVD versions so I politely asked for the blu ray ones. I was there early enough that they were still putting the slip covers over them.

I just finished watching Toy Story 1 and it looks fantastic. These movies are worth retail. I'm glad I didn't have to pay retail because when the inevitable trilogy pack comes out I can be eased by the fact that I only spent about $10 for the both movies.

Everything went fine at Target. My receipt is really confusing so I don't really know if it worked the right way, but i got a clearanced 360 controller plus the two movies for 29.xx, and I'm happy.

Oh, and they had tons of the blu ray sized cases for both movies

I think there was a system-wide shipment problem with TRU's getting the Blu-ray case copies. The TRU I pre-ordered at said they only got a couple Blu-ray case copies of each. The employee said they were supposed to get another shipment as early as tomorrow. I asked if he thought it'd be better to get the DVD case copies now and swap them out or just wait for a shipment. He recommended waiting. I called another Atlanta TRU and they said they didn't get ANY because their shipment didn't arrive. So I figure a bunch more will show up in a couple days.

Wellll...The $10 coupons DO specifically indicate that they are only for the Blu-ray version, because it is essentially compensation for upgrading from DVD to Blu-ray. But it does seem rather arbitrary given that the sets are (as far as I know) identical other than the case itself.

Yeah my TRU had TS1 copies on blu, but no TS2. I was like wtf is the point of preordering if your not going to have them? I asked if I should wait and he recommended buying TS2 on dvd, than swapping tomorrow or thursday when there "expedited" shipment comes in. He said there would be no problem swapping since they are the same price, but I guess we will see. He said to buy today or they wouldn't honor the $16.99 price... Im going to flip the f*ck out if they won't swap for me.

Here is how it worked out for me:

Princess and the Frog:
34.99
-15.00 preordered both Toy Story 1 and 2
-5.00 Disney promo?
-10.00 coupon (Princess and the Frog)
TOTAL: 4.99 + tax

PLUS two $5.00 preorders.

TOTAL BILL: 16.67

This is what will happen at 7:00pm tonight:

Toy Story 1 / Toy Story 2
21.99
21.99
-10.00 for buying both Toy Story 1 and Toy Story 2
-10.00 coupon (Toy Story 1)
-10.00 coupon (Toy Story 2)
-5.00 preorder (Toy Story 1)
-5.00 preorder (Toy Story 2)
TOTAL: 3.98 + tax

TOTAL BILL: 6.11

Great deal, but I wish that the $5.00 coupons worked. I got shot down 3 times on them! The Toys R Us in Times Square (NYC) is pretty strict.

On a side note: They only had DVD size cases. What is the best way to get the Blu-Ray size cases? I want to exchange these somehow.

Best Buy can PM coupons ?

Here's how mine went down.

$16.99
$16.99
- $10.00 for both
- $10.00 off coupon
- $10.00 off coupon
- $5.00 pre order
- $5.00 pre order

total = $3.98 plus tax

And I will flip the f*ck out if they don't honor the $16.99 price. The ad says that price is good through the end of the week, not just today. Even if that were true, I preordered. They didn't have the items I preordered. Thus, it is incumbent upon them to obtain those items and honor the price. It's not a raincheck if I've already put money down.

Picked up a few more at Target, Total 6. Going pick up the 2nd pre-order at Toy's'Us tommorrow. Got BluRay cases on hold. Going exchange the DVD cases I got at Target to Wal Mart also.

It still code you $10 for the preorders though

Glad my TRU isn't the only one who takes preorders & then waits for you to get lucky & find the item you already partially paid for the day it comes out. I'm also stuck w/ 2 dvd cases, and was told to come back later this week & swap them out.

My target scanned all 4 rebates taking my order to a little over 6 bucks. I'm certainly happy with that. Also had plenty of BLU cases. Why does anyone want a DVD case anyway?

I got the Blu-ray copies of Toy Story 1 & 2 at Toys R Us today... after spending $3 on The Princess and the Frog the other day (that was all I paid for the movie AND the two preorders)

My total expenditures today: $5.

Fortune must smile upon me... and I'm sure this post just enraged a bunch of CAGers who apparently weren't so lucky. Sorry about that mates :)
It still code you $10 for the preorders though
hmm odd, I just looked at my receipt at it says $16.99-$5.00 although they charged my the tax on the price of both blu together $11.99 x 2 = 22.98 instead of $3.98
fucking TRU...got there at 6pm and they told me that they were out, and they didn't receive enough to cover the pre-orders. To check back in 2-3 days :bomb:
TRU told me the same thing (about the blu ray cases ones). I got back home and had a call they "found" more in the back.

So, my total came to $0.00.... I brought all my coupons and said whatever worked would help me out more than nothing, and at the $3.98 mark, she scanned in my 5.00 coupon which brought the cost to nothing. Thanks OP and everyone else who posted information to help. I need all the money I can have for PAX at this point (since it's this week). Thanks again everyone!

Well, for anybody curious, I did finally get my WalMart to PM the ToysRUs ad after I printed it and brought it in to them (same manager as earlier too). Special thanks to Kaydee09 and a few others who got Target to PM the ad at $16.99, which is what drew my attention to it in the first place. The fact that it stated the end price of "$16.99 each" is what got them to do it. I was nervous as hell considering WalMart's regular price was $24.96...so that's a pretty hefty markdown for each movie.

The $10 coupons scanned no problem, and I was happy to walk out with both movies for about $16.30...and I saved the one hour drive to Target. I know it's not as good of a deal as many in here have gotten, but it's good enough for me, and is as good as I could expect to do with my limited shopping options. Funny thing is, if WalMart had just agreed to match the "$10 off" deal earlier today, they would have gotten more money out of me (since it would have dropped the price to $19.96 each).

They did that with mine too. As well as when i got the $15 off, but hey whatever =) Still cheapest deal overall!
hmm odd, I just looked at my receipt at it says $16.99-$5.00 although they charged my the tax on the price of both blu together $11.99 x 2 = 22.98 instead of $3.98

Wow, some douche is selling Toy Story from Target for $150!!!

http://www.amazon.com/gp/offer-list...olp_collectible?ie=UTF8&condition=collectible

FLOL...*I* am said douche (as if y'all didn't know). I figured I'd give it a shot and go fishing for a sucker. Hey, it worked for the Zombieland Nut Up or Shut Up Best Buy Exclusive Blu Ray Edition.

If they sell at that insane price, they sell. If not, no biggy, I'm in no rush and I paid nothing for them. I always throw my extra shit up on amazon at ridiculous prices...I'm a firm believer in the greater fool theory. You'd be amazed at what people buy, and how much they pay!
TRU told me the same thing (about the blu ray cases ones). I got back home and had a call they "found" more in the back.
At least they offered you a call...they told me to call them. :/

I realize that there are people against using all the coupons, but here's what happened at my TRU in FL. I brought both of each $5, $10, and $8 coupons in just in case, figured if they said no I could at least use the $10 off ones. I pre-ordered both TS's and got Ratatouille as well since I had an $8 off one for that.

By the by, the bluray case thing threw me as well. Mine had about 2-3 of each at 5pm in the afternoon, they were not holding any behind the counter.

The girl looked at my coupons and said "I don't know if these will all ring up, but we'll try and if not just use the $10 off ones okay." She didn't call a manager or anything which surprised the heck outta me, I mean really?!?! When I worked in retail I would have definitely called for one! It's kinda common sense, right?
Then she proceeded to ring up the movies and the coupons. The system took all of them! It didn't even beep to say there might be an issue...I was shocked! So I paid the tax for all three and walked out in a daze that they took them....
Now if you include the deal I got on Cars with the pre-order ( $24.99 -$15, -$5 glitch, -$8 coupon= tax only) and the deal I got at Target for PAFP and Pixar Shorts on bluray ( I got PAFP with the coupons thinking great deal =), but the hubby had ordered it for my birthday from Disney Movie Club for $13.95, so I returned it and got the entire price payment back-- they basically paid for my other copy. Why does Target do that!?! Anyone know why?).

So we paid $1.50 each for a total of $10 for 6 blurays. I'm doing the Bandaid rebate on PAFP ($5) and I get two tickets to see Toy Story 3 with the hubby (which will be nice as we just had a baby 2 months ago and need a "date" night out). I'm kinda giddy that it all worked out cause we really don't have a lot of money right now with the new baby. I'm staying at home because child care in FL is flippin expensive as all heck and now I have some entertainment for when she's napping and I'm doing house cleaning or the dishes and whatnot.

I'm still in shock that they took them all and quite honestly can't believe that TRU dosen't have something in place for this type of thing.

Went to TRU to exchange my DVD for Blu cases and thy only had TS1 so I got it and was told i could come back some other time for TS2. Seems only TRU is having this problem since my wal-mart had tons when I went to get Astro Boy Blu for $4!

TS1 and 2 for 15.98. Cashier took the two 10 dollar ones no problem but when i said to try the two 5 dollar ones she said no doubling. I wasn't in the mood to argue that it wasn't doubling to use the other coupons..but hey whatever, can't argue with a cheaper price than it would have been.
Just sent Toys R' Us a rather lengthy email. :nottalking:
About the case thing? Not having preorders preordered?

Little vague.
I don't get it. People are getting blu ray movies in a dvd case?
The movies have the same discs regardless of the packaging. There's the discs packaged in a DVD case and also in a BR case. Same discs, regardless.

Some people want them in a DVD case because they have DVDs and will upgrade to BR at some point in the future. The DVD cases blend in with the other DVD cases they have.
I don't get it. People are getting blu ray movies in a dvd case?
They put out two version of the collectors edition. Both contain the DVD and Bluray versions of the movie. However, one is the large black DVD style case and the other is the smaller bluray case.

They look pretty much the same except the size of the case and the outer carboard cover having a blue strip on top for bluray case and yellow for the DVD case.

Also, the wording on is slightly different based on case. It will say on the top.

DVD+Bluray - DVD case
Bluray+DVD - Bluray

Not sure how people are getting them for $6 total at Target. I came out totaling $16.xx. When they scanned the $5 coupons it gave a message "only one manufacturer's coupon per item."

Same for me, I tried that too. I got the both of them for 18.50 total. I'm not complaining though, still a good deal.
