WE DO NOT HAVE PDFS OF THE COUPON PRINTING COUPONS, THE COUPONS ARE INDIVIDUALLY NUMBERED

Please keep trade and other off topic chatter to a minimum. It is healthy and unless it gets out of hand or really off topic or in a direction that is heading towards fraud or illegal actions, please do not worry.

The Disney Movie Rewards site has changed, the coupon printing is now associated with your account, printing 2 times per account is now the limit, as well as per computer. This was tested at the end of the Toy Story craze a few months back. If you have a girlfriend with an account or a brother or sister, see if you can have their extra coupons if you need them.

So here are the coupons:

Sorry if this has been mentioned before, but I just got an email for $10 off for BATB (NOT the upgrade coupon) from Disney Rewards. I am assuming stores will only accept 1 coupon from Disney (i.e. we can use the upgrade to blu $10 off or this coupon, but not both). Which retailer do you think would accept both coupons?

I missed out on the Tinkerbell deal but TRU has it this week for 26.99 so if I use the TS3 and BatB pre-orders plus the $10 off coupon plus the $5 off anything over $25 coupon my receipt should read as follows:
26.99+
5.00 (TS3) +
5.00 (BatB) =
36.99-
5.00 (tru coupon)-
10 (disney coupon)-
10 (TS3 preorder) -
10 (BatB preorder =
$1.99 + tax

From what I read this should go fine sine there is not the hassle of the $10 TRU GC and I wouldn't need any sort of manager over-ride. How's that sound?
I don't think you'll be able to use the $5 off TRU coupon as your total is not over $25.
I'd take 6.99 or 1.99. I'm hoping that they'll take them all. we'll see!
Because BatB is 22.99 and you've paid $5 it will register as 17.99 and the TS3 preorder will not work as the deal is for 19.99 and up. At least that's the explanation from primm4444. I'm skipping the preorder on BatB and just hoping for this to work:

Sale price $22.99 - $10 credit for preordering TS3 while buying BatB - $10 for Disney Coupon = $2.99.

Of course the total out the door will be 7.99 and tax, but it's really getting BatB for 2.99 and $5 is already applied to TS3 which hopefully will have a good sale and hopefully there will be a stackable preorder promotion for the next Disney BR and hopefully there will be a Disney Coupon as well.
I'm going to pre-order Beauty & the Beast. You're jumping the gun here. TS3 I'll use to get a different movie.
I'd take 6.99 or 1.99. I'm hoping that they'll take them all. we'll see!
won't work, the two preorders do not stack anymore, you'll only receive 10 dollars off and not 20. tried it on sunday w/o the tb3 preorder
I'd take 6.99 or 1.99. I'm hoping that they'll take them all. we'll see!
Trust me, it won't work without an override. We've been through this all before.
So whats the best deal out there, if I just want to purchase Beauty and the Beast and Toy Story 3?
TRU I believe. TRU price of $22.99 - $10 for preordering TS3 when buying BatB - $10 Disney Coupon = $2.99

I keep getting the message that I already have an account when I try to sign up for the disney reward program online. I have tried multiple email addresses. Is anyone else getting this or have an idea on how to fix it?

I can confirm the 22.99 price at TRU. I get the Sunday paper inserts early because I get the paper delivered. I just looked through the TRU ad and it does indeed state the price to be 22.99. It says it on page 4a. Also, there is a "FREE EXCLUSIVE coupon book when you buy ANY Disney DVD (up to $100 value) in store only" listed with the BaTB ad.

On the front of the insert, there is a coupon for "Free $10 geoffrey bucks with any toys r us purchase of $75 or more". That one is valid between 10/3 and 10/9.
This thread is getting mad confusing LOL
Yeah, just wait til you try to buy something. . .
Target is offering a $5 coupon for Glee S1 :br: by texting OFFERS to 827438
God, I got super excited for a split second seeing $5 and Target in the same sentence, only to have my dreams dashed by Glee.

So is there a deal out there to just buy B&B? Where is the best option with the coupon? or is the best option this madness of Toys R Us with TS3? Im contemplating waiting for the nemo release to pick this one up.
So is there a deal out there to just buy B&B? Where is the best option with the coupon? or is the best option this madness of Toys R Us with TS3? Im contemplating waiting for the nemo release to pick this one up.
There. Is. No. Nemo. Release. This. Year....

in other news...

I'd say the best deal is at TRU for this one, just because it's $22.99 before coupon.

So now you have options:

Option 1: Just use the coupon
BatB Blu-Ray Movie - $22.99
$10 off Coupon (-$10.00) - $12.99
Total = $12.99 + tax

Now if you have a preorder on the movie, you would obviously subtract $5 from $12.99 which becomes $7.99

Option 2: Combine the coupon with a Toy Story 3 Preorder
BatB Blu-Ray Movie - $22.99
Toy Story 3 Preorder (+$5.00) - $27.99
Toy Story 3 Preorder Promotion (-$10.00) - $17.99
$10 off coupon (-$10.00) - $7.99
Total = $7.99 + tax

Once again if you had a preorder on BatB that's an additional -$5.00 making it $2.99 + tax.

However, when you combine the Toy Story 3 preorder when buying the moving, hopefully the system will take off the Toy Story 3 promotion BEFORE anything else since the promotion states "$10 off a Disney Blu-Ray $19.99 and up" and if you use the $10 coupon first, that would knock the blu-ray down to $12.99. So the preorder promotion should be applied before anything else.

Of course if you preordered the ironpack from best buy you could always price match the $22.99 price and use the $10 coupon making it $12.99 - your preorder of $7.50 making it $5.49 + tax.

Of course the TRU deal is even sweeter if you got in on the Tinker Bell fiasco and got the movie + $10 gc for dirt cheap since you can get rid of your gc on the movie.

I think I'm going to go with TRU and possibly preorder another TS3, but we'll see.

With my gift card from Tinkerbell it would only be $2.99 after gift card and coupon.

Hope this helps!

I think I'm getting for $7.99 as I preordered it when I got TB3.

So if it's

$22.99
- $10.00 (DMR coupon)
- $ 5.00 (pre order)
-------

$7.99 plus tax.
Option 2: Combine the coupon with a Toy Story 3 Preorder
BatB Blu-Ray Movie - $22.99
Toy Story 3 Preorder (+$5.00) - $27.99
Toy Story 3 Preorder Promotion (-$10.00) - $17.99
$10 off coupon (-$10.00) - $7.99
Total = $7.99 + tax

Hope this helps!
So this is 30.98 for B&tB and TS3 preorder total? Hmmm
Amazon adjusted my 2nd order. :D
what are you getting adjusted and what are you telling them in the email?
I'd say the best deal is at TRU for this one, just because it's $22.99 before coupon.
+1.

Option 2: Combine the coupon with a Toy Story 3 Preorder
BatB Blu-Ray Movie - $22.99
Toy Story 3 Preorder (+$5.00) - $27.99
Toy Story 3 Preorder Promotion (-$10.00) - $17.99
$10 off coupon (-$10.00) - $7.99
Total = $7.99 + tax

If my experience with TB3 pickup/BatB preorder is any indication (I can't attach my receipt scans here), it WILL work that way (except the ad discount comes first, which is OK). With preorder pickup, TS3 preorder and TB3 gift card, the receipt should read something like this ("0xxxx1" and "0xxxx2" will be replaced by more specific TRU offer codes, but registers will sort them in this order regardless of how scanned; "937814" is from the actual BatB preorder card; I use my tax of 7.5% on $7.99):

PRSELL TOY STORY 3 BD 5.00
400030062106
0xxxx2 $10 OFF SELEC ITEM 5.00-0.00
BEAUTY AND THE BEAST BD/DVD 7.99
786936793291 (BD case) or 786936802641 (DVD case)
0xxxx1 AD DISCOUNT 29.99-7.00
0xxxx2 $10 OFF SELEC ITEM 22.99-10.00
937814 BALANCE DUE 12.99-5.00
VENDOR COUPON 10.00-
SUBTOTAL 2.99
T1 7.500% TAX 0.60
TOTAL 3.59
GIFT CARD 3.59

(Note that contrary to most folks' thinking here, the coupon does NOT come off the price directly; to stores it is a method of payment, not a discount. TRU still gets $10 from Disney even though their register says the price is only $7.99--though that is after the $5 deposit. The real culprit in the TB3 fiasco was the GC, NOT the coupon; with the TB3 GC deferred to "media swap" in my case, the $10 coupon took even though TB3's receipt price was only $9.99 after BatB preorder & $10 deposit.)

Of course the TRU deal is even sweeter if you got in on the Tinker Bell fiasco and got the movie + $10 gc for dirt cheap since you can get rid of your gc on the movie.

With my gift card from Tinkerbell it would only be $2.99 after gift card and coupon.
+1 here too (see above). Edit: Actually, if you also do TS3 (and preordered) it's $2.99 + tax *before* the GC; most of the GC balance will carry over to TS3.
what are you getting adjusted and what are you telling them in the email?
I got my amazon BatB order adjusted by $10 as well (i.e., its price is now $14.99 before another $10 off from the regular amazon promo kicks in).
Just tell them you got a $10 off coupon from Disney for it and ask them (nicely) to apply it to this order. YMMV though, I got shot down twice doing the same for Tinkerbell.
I'm going to pre-order Beauty & the Beast. You're jumping the gun here. TS3 I'll use to get a different movie.
If use TS3 toward a different movie you'll pay 12.99 for BatB.
thanks for that RBBrittain!

So we should be able to preorder TS3 and get BatB for $2.99 without any problems.
I don't care what anyone says here anymore: until someone has done it on day of release, I won't believe it. All that hype over TB3 just to be fucked by TRU's system should have taught everyone that.

well we'll see come tuesday I guess!

All that hype over TB3 just to be fucked by TRU's system should have taught everyone that.
Agreed. Good luck to those preordering, but I'm not. If I coulda gotten an upgrade coupon fast enough from Disney I would have done a preorder on BatB, but $10 off a $30 bluray wasn't appealing. If I coulda taken another $8 off to make it $12 then maybe. I'm glad I'm not dealing with TRU preorder hysteria and hopefully it works without problem and it was JUST the GC with TB3 and not both so I know I can do it next time.
is it me or is tru ad misleading for the Beauty & the Beast?

So that become $2.99 right? Even without pre-order lol!
You might have a point if that's the actual print. If it doesn't say 'after' coupon, then I'd argue all the way up to the store manager on that one. ;)

You mean you weren't the one who tried that with Snow White? They always word it this way for some stupid reason (probably to purposefully mislead people into the store) when they advertise there is a Disney coupon. Noone succeeded in arguing into getting the lower price.

Ha, had no clue about that. I'm just going to try for a PM at BB anyhow since TRU isn't worth the $5.

just hope they don't have more preorders than their actual stock cuz then they won't sell u one come tuesday :p thats why i preordered and if it doesn't ring up properly w/ the preorder, just tell them to ring it w/o the preorder and return it since those are your copies anyways :p

Haven't seen these posted here:
$5 B&tB MIR from Campbell's soup (or Spaghetti O's) [buy three] HERE
$5 B&tB MIR from Western Bagel (probably a regional/store specific brand- never seen them) [buy two] HERE.

Also, $1 off three Campbell's soups or $.50 (possibly doubled $1) off two Spaghetti O's coupons HERE

This Blu-ray could be free/ make money especially if you do the meatless S.O's for $.80 (or less) a can.

The TRU ad is misleading is what he's getting at. I must admit, I'll have to try it myself lol. Chances are the employee will just look at the price and go ooooooooook!

As for those MiR: where were you planning on getting to proof of purchase tabs?

Plus, around here they never have preorders stored anywhere. I ask and they just get one from the cabinet with all the other BRs, so in theory as long as I go early enough to beat all of the suckers who preordered. . . I've also got six stores around here with three being very convenient to go to on my way home from work or on break and three more a little less convenient (make my commute 10-15 minutes longer maybe) that I can try.

They would do so even if that was wrong just cause that's how pming usually goes. Worth a shot though. I don't know if I have the patience to try it. Good luck fellas!

Also, if you meant two PoP tabs, the Disney movies usually have two tabs on them. I remember there was some issue with PatF because there were three MIRs, but only two tabs.

Oh word. Very niiiiiiiiiiiiice!

decisions decisions. Do I buy Batb now, for $15 or wait till later this year hoping for a $12 or so deal on it?

I didn't pre order and didn't pre order toy story 3 for similar reasons.

Are there ever '$12 or so' deals on disney blu-rays after the release?
I think $13 now at TRU is the best you are going to get for a good while.

I think $13 now at TRU is the best you are going to get for a good while.
I agree with this sentiment completely. Good luck finding it under $20 after release week. If you want Toy Story 3 you can preorder it when you pick up Beast and use the Disney coupon to make it 2.99 plus the 5.00 for your preorder which comes off of TS3. In effect it's 2.99 for beast and you owe 25 more for TS3 at most, although it's highly likely there will be a Disney coupon and a decent sale price with EVERYONE trying to get customers to buy it at their store. Even in the doubtful case it's $30, you are still getting Beast and TS3 for $33 plus tax which is 16.50 each and better than you'll see for some time or you could cancel your preorder.

This may have been mentioned before, but for the parents out there the TRU ad states that if you buy $40 worth of princess stuff you get a Belle Tea Set Cart ($25 value). A similar offer was around for Snow White where you spent X amount of dollars and got a Snow White baking set and the Snow White BR counted towards the baking set. In fact, the regular price counted towards it IIRC (ie: If it was regularly priced 29.99 and the sale price was 22.99 then 29.99 counted toward the baking set). I wonder if the same applies this time around as you would only need either 10.01 or 17.01 more.

Interesting, so perhaps I can buy two copies of the movie and get the tea set free?

Dumb Question I need an answer to so i will ask it anyway. If I end up picking up a copy of B&tB that I pre-ordered and than returning it will I get the full amount back of $22.99 or only the $17.99 I paid after the $5.00 for the pre-order is removed? Also would I only need the receipt they give me when I pick up the movie for the return or would I need that receipt and the receipt with the $5.00 pre-order on it also?

You get back whatever you end up paying for the movie. If you pay $17.99, you'll get $17.99 back. If you use the disney coupon to pay $7.99, you'll get $7.99 back.

actually wrong. if he used the $10 coupon he gets back the $10 as well. Part of the legality of coupons. since the company is already being reimbursed by the coupon company (disney in this case) they count the coupon as a method of payment and when a return it s processed it is processed back to you as a payment. for example if you buy the movie for $12.99 ($22.99 - $10 coupon) and do a return a few days later, they refund $22.99 back to your card)

I'm not so sure that they'll give him back $10 if he only spends 2.99 out of pocket though.
