WE DO NOT HAVE PDFS OF THE COUPON PRINTING COUPONS, THE COUPONS ARE INDIVIDUALLY NUMBERED

Please keep trade and other off topic chatter to a minimum. It is healthy and unless it gets out of hand or really off topic or in a direction that is heading towards fraud or illegal actions, please do not worry.

The Disney Movie Rewards site has changed, the coupon printing is now associated with your account, printing 2 times per account is now the limit, as well as per computer. This was tested at the end of the Toy Story craze a few months back. If you have a girlfriend with an account or a brother or sister, see if you can have their extra coupons if you need them.

So here are the coupons:

That was an awesome friggin blu-ray. I reserved mine a couple weeks back at best buy and after a random gift card I had lying around, it ended up being about $12.

Was I ripped off or something?

When I bought James and the Giant Peach at Toys R Us I pre-ordered Beauty & the Beast by putting down $5.

Anyway, the movie was $22.99 minus the $5 deposit. I also used the $10 coupon from the Disney Rewards site. Therefore, it should come down to $7.99 in total. Apparently you saved $10 more if you pre-ordered "Toy Story 3" (which I did), so $7.99 minus an extra $10 would basically mean that the movie would have to be free, right?

I was charged $3.94 in total for the Blu-ray/dvd movie, is this correct or wrong on their part and not something I should have been charged?

You forgot the $5 that the pre-order costs. So yes, your total was correct.

You are forgetting to add back in the $5.00 you had to spend to pre-order TS3 that bring the total before tax to $2.99 so your total you listed is correct after your local sales tax.

@prim4444

Can you guys see if there are any outstanding preorders? I know I have some, but I am not sure what receipts they are on.

BTW: Picked up 2 B&TB, tea cart, can come back for coupon book (not in stock), and Paid 5.98 +tax. It did take a manager override though.

I'm pretty sure that the pre-orders aren't actually tracked in the system with any kind of accuracy. All the cards have the same bar codes and they don't have to scan the receipt you purchased the pre-order with to verify that you picked it up. They really need to hire some real programmers that will do the job right instead of whatever kind of crappy contractors or foreigners they have doing their programming on the cheap.
I honestly think they screwed up this weeks ad. Maybe they pulled this weeks online ad? In store today I asked to see the ad and she handed me 1 from a stack and every single ad had the front bottom right hand corner cut out. a stack of 10-15 at least all missing the same corner... makes me wonder what was on that corner....
I wonder if any store will have a deal for the nightmare before Christmas this Halloween? I have the $8 upgrade coupons for it.
That'd be nice, as I still need to snag that one but can never find a decent deal on it.

I'm wondering if we'll see any deals on Disney's World of Wonder (WOW), Disney's take on a Digital Video Essentials-type calibration disc. Looks very cool and actually much more full-featured than Avia, DVE or any other calibration discs I've used. Plus it has Goofy guiding you through home theater setup and calibration, lots of snazzy demo reels culled from Disney and Pixar, plus a second disc of nature footage. It even has tools like a pixel flipper that may help fix burn-in or stuck pixels.

Sold my Target copy (in a DVD case which I was never a big fan of) to my friend for 5.00 since his daughter loves Disney movies. He can't wait to show it to her, especially since she loved Princess and the Frog. This should blow her mind.

So I went to TRU and picked up my Blu-Ray case preorder. Did a preorder of Toy Story 3 flawlessly and get everything out the door for 3.XX. I would seriously slap someone if they tried to tell me they can't combine a manufacturer's coupon (that they get reimbursed for) with the 10.00 promo for preordering and buying a Disney movie.

I'm really pumped up at the possibility of getting Toy Story 3 on the cheap. Even if it's 29.99, if I can get it for 9.99 with free Wall Clock after theoretical coupon and preorder incentive for preordering whatever Disney movie is coming out next, that'd be awesome.

And by that, I mean a rip of the CD.

i pre-ordered online with BB for the free ironpack. the guy said i wouldn't get charged unless i pick it up within x amount of days (forgot how many days). i picked up the ironpack but not the blu-ray...and i still got charged. if i wait x days, will they reimburse me?

I don't remember a deal on it last Halloween(don't know about 2008, as I didn't have a :br: player then).

I really can't remember seeing a sale/deal on it at all actually. Which was why I picked mine up for 50% off the $35 MSRP at a Circuit City closing sale.

Charged for what? The $7.50 for the ironpack or $24.99 for the actual :br:?

If it's the IP, take your reciept back to BB and say you picked it up somewhere else and get that $7.50 back.

I believe Nightmare Before Christmas was $15 on amazon at one point in time, I believe last year.

Of course, I wasnt really interested in the movie then (even though I posted the deal) and now I can't find the damn movie anywhere for cheaper than ~$25.

charged for 28.52 (25.99 +tax) for the actual BD! the ironpack was "free", it shows up as 0.00 on the online order.

Yeah, the TNBC blu seems weirdly immune to sales and discounting. It's been on my wishlist for a long time (long ago traded away my special ed. DVD in anticipation of picking the blu up imminently) but it's always hovering around $30 at best.

wow how did you manage this?

did you use the coupon in the coupon book?

I talked to the cashier at TRU when I was there the other night when I was picking up my one copy of BatB (since I couldn't pick up my other copy since I couldn't print the other $10 coupon because my printer is broken, but just bought a new one this morning!) and she told me to go to customer service to get reimbursed the $6, essentially making it just tax.

the coupon is buy BatB + another disney blu/dvd $14.99 or higher and save $6 instantly.

so if you buy 2 BatB at the usual $2.99, and use that coupon, you pretty much just pay tax for the two movies.

It was $15.49, which is the lowest all-time at Amazon according to camelcamelcamel.com. My order history shows that I bought it on November 13th at that price. It was at that price on and off throughout November and December last year, and that's the only time it dropped below $20.

Yes i used the coupon in the booklet, what is the point of saving it right? I also had a save $10 on $50 or more. So i got 2 x $29.99 and 2 X $5 down on TS3 for $1. The subtotal is $0 so all we payed was tax.

walmart had it for $14.99 when the best buy steelbook came out.. I remember as I pmd a steelbook at BBuy...
alas right now it's up to $27 at wallys...
be patient, it'll drop...

I bought 2 B&tBs and 2 TS3 preorders and found out about the $6 off coupon from the disney coupon book afterward. Should I even try to take the coupon to customer service and get it adjusted or will I surely be shot down?

Well for anyone that wants to give it a shot, here's the option that I mentioned earlier.

Format is:
Item Applied to order - Effect on total - Total as of that line

Beauty and the Beast - +$22.99 - $22.99
Beauty and the Beast - +$22.99 - $45.98
Toy Story 3 Preorder - +$5.00 - $50.98
Toy Story 3 Preorder - +$5.00 - $55.98
Toy Story 3 Promo - -$10.00 - $45.98
Toy Story 3 Promo - -$10.00 - $35.98
Manufacturer's Coupon for Beauty and the Beast - -$10.00 - $25.98
Manufacturer's Coupon for Beauty and the Beast - -$10.00 - $15.98
Save $6 Coupon (when you buy Beauty + another Disney movie, found in coupon book from TRU) - -$6.00 - $9.98
Total: $9.98 (if you don't have any Beauty and the Beast Preorders)

If you do:
Beauty and the Beast Preorder Deposit - -$5.00 - $4.98
Beauty and the Beast Preorder Deposit - -$5.00 - -$0.02
Total: -$0.02 (YMMV at this point of the process)

Not sure what would happen if you have two preorders and try to do this, you could probably get a manager override to subtract $0.02 from the tax. But the real thing here is that you can not have any preorders down at all and get 2 copies of Beauty and the Beast + 2 Toy Story 3 preorders for $9.98 + tax.

Also, I did this but only had one preorder down so it came out to $4.98 + $2.xx in tax, after using the rest of my TB3 credit, I owed $0.73.

Enjoy guys and happy hunting!
Where did you get a coupon for $10 off a purchase of $50 or more?
A Toys R Us rewards mailed booklet

Just two points:
First, If you're looking to get the tea set free, the movie will count as 29.99 toward the promo and any other princess sale item will also apply at the full price value.

Second, I saw a sign that said buy $40 worth of Disney movies and get a $10 GC. Did this ring up for anyone? I thought of trying it by getting two BatB with two TS3 preorders and trying the BatB coupon from the book which was just sitting out, but I only had one BatB coupon.

Also, those coupons blow.
Since the $10 off coupon for Tinker Bell has expired, there is a new $5 off coupon available now: http://www.disneymovierewards.go.com/promotions/special-offers/tink3sustain

For some reason, I thought you were talking about BaTB and instead of clicking your link, I clicked through the coupon offer in my email thinking it would redirect me to the $5 BaTB site. Instead it's just the same regular $10 off coupon. So I tried printing it again and you know what? The BaTB coupon reset, it can be printed two more times. These are set to expire 10/12/2010. When I went back and re-read the post above, I tried that link and the tink coupon for $5 can be printed and it does indeed expire 1/24/2011.

Thanks, Animal... that was my question. I'm questioning the address TRU has on file for me... I haven't rec'd anything like that... :( Then again, I'm also not getting the DMR emails that everyone talks about (and my settings are correct on that one)....
Really surprised a mod hasn't chimed in with warnings on the Target price match thing...where you at, guys?
Warning: If you try to pricematch the TRU ad that obviously shows the movie as costing $22.99, the cashier may think you are an idiot.
