I ordered all the remastered Kubrick films (A Clockwork Orange, The Shining, Full Metal Jacket, 2001 Space Odessy, Eyes Wide Shut) last night for $14.99 ea from Warner Brothers. I used the 25% off code since each one is 19.99 retail.

Not a bad deal if anyone is looking to pick up the Kubrick Films, also had free shipping over $50 but i had to pay tax so it was $80 out the door.
hopefully youll get them in in a timely manner, those 4 movies have been really hard to find and most e-tailors have them on backorder

I finally got my shipping notification from Fry's on Friday. I had pre-ordered Castlevania for the psp along with the blu-rays I ordered, and told them to ship everything together to cut down on shipping costs.

I also jumped on a preorder for Ratatoillie (sp?) from Amazon for $23.95, shipped free w/ my Prime mem. I figured that was a pretty good deal for a new-release blu-ray, and I'm dying to see some Pixar in hi-def. :)
hopefully youll get them in in a timely manner, those 4 movies have been really hard to find and most e-tailors have them on backorder
No big hurry anyways. but it seems that most people whove ordered recently have been getting their orders pretty quick.

And ive also seen every single one of those titles locally so im not sure how hard they are to find.

Please don't jump down my throat if this is common knowledge, but are those Kubrick films also available as a set or are they only available as single discs?
Please don't jump down my throat if this is common knowledge, but are those Kubrick films also available as a set or are they only available as single discs?
Available as a set on DVD, but only individually on Blu-ray.
Available as a set on DVD, but only individually on Blu-ray.
Yeah no box sets for HD DVD and BluRay only dvd. I dont thnk its really makes a difference anyways.
Available as a set on DVD, but only individually on Blu-ray.
Thank you. So which out of those available would be good to watch? The only Kubrick film I've seen and own is Full Metal Jacket on HD-DVD.

Sony has a B2G1 promotion on 12 discs, which is buying two off the list of 12 and getting one free after $2.99 S&H. It's a bit of a weak list, though it's better than no "free" one at all. Starts today, goes to 12/15/07.

Movies on the list are:
Casino Royale
Fifth Element
Black Hawk Down
Memoirs of a Geisha
Pursuit of Happyness
Open Season
Ghost Rider Ext. Cut
Underworld Evolution
Talladega Nights Unrated Cut
A Few Good Men
Big Fish
The Patriot Extended Cut

Form showing the details is over here:
http://www.sonypictures.com/homevideo/bluraymailoffer/

Flier for said promotion was stuck in the Sunday fliers in my newspaper.

This is the cheapest I've found it anywhere. Even Buy.com with -10$ google checkout is only .50 cents cheaper. Then you have to wait for it in the mail.

Better than nothing, but it looks like it's after MIR. So, you buy three at full price and hope you get a check back for the price of one of them.

No its buy 2 send away for 1 not wait for a check.
Yeah no box sets for HD DVD and BluRay only dvd. I dont thnk its really makes a difference anyways.
It means you don't have to own a copy of Eyes Wide Shut, and that's awesome.

No it's not at MIR prices... If there's a deal like B1G1 again (which is very unlikely), you can get the 3rd one free using the rebate... The only drawback is that you have to cut the tab... Thanks OP for the new info...

2001 and The Shining are both very good, but A Clockwork Orange is one of the finest films ever created.

I wonder why they didn't include Dr. Strangelove?
dont know if its been posted but familyvideo has the Spidey trilogy for 55.xx
Is that the best deal right now on it?

seems that way, although i wouldnt be surprised if some retailers dumped the price tommorow to compete with BB and family video

Circuit City is almost required to. Their $79.99 price is laughable compared to $69.99 at Target and $60.99 at Best Buy.

This isn't really a specific deal or anything, but I've been really impressed with Amazon Marketplace prices. If you want something in particular and check often, you'll usually find it for 10% - 25% below average eBay price. I got Planet Earth for $45 shipped (42 + 3) this morning, and just bought Weeds for $16 shipped (13 + 3). Both BR, of course.

Same goes for everything on Marketplace -- videogames, CDs, whatever... just check often, and you'll find a deal.

ill prob head to bb during my lunch break... any bb coupons out there?

i wish cc had a better price on it since i had coupons to use over there

There's a 10% off card inside USPS Moving Away package and another 10% off Reward Zone printout at online. If you have $5 Reward Certificate then you probably saved $10 with 10% off! :)

What is happening at BB?
Spiderman Trilogy is $60.99
:hot:

Is this going to stay at that price by the end of the week or is it their normal price?:/

I think it is on sale until the end of the week.
anybody is able to get Spidy Triology with the 10% mover's coupon? thanks in advance...
Where do you get the movers coupon? The post office?

So, that's kind of wierd. I specifically looked at the Spider-man Blu Ray trilogy at work (Target) in the back room the other day and I remember it being in all one case ala Smallville or Planet Earth. However when I picked up my trilogy at Best Buy today each movie was in its own case with a cardboard slip case.

Looks like each store has specific packaging for it? Funny thing is I'd prefer each movie in its own case and its cheaper at BB anyway...
Where do you get the movers coupon? The post office?
Yup.

RvB, are you serious?

All pics I've seen from sets around the world are in seperate cases for each title.
I'd rather have 1 for all.
I can PM at Target right?
Where do you get the movers coupon? The post office?
Yea, I'd like to know also. Are those the ones that usually come in the mail?

A 10% coupon + BB's price would be awesome ;O
I think it is on sale until the end of the week.
bought it this AM and the normal price appears to be $69.99.

oh yeah and then there's the 25% coupon at that one site. :booty:

it would be great if those who are referring to these magical coupons could scan/post them for others to use as well. Talking about them does nothing useful.

Incredipinoy - dude, nice way putting the savings in writing, but you know that doesn't work! Not only that, you're confusing people...

Bune, a little bit of reading and you'll realize that the BB coupons are not magical...

10% Mover's coupon - two sides, so scans will not do! It's a card board thingy, just go to your local post office and ask for the Mover's package.

10% Reward Zone - Probably expired by now... and it will not stack on the other coupons (vice versa for the other coupons)

$5 Rewars Certificate, not all of us got that...

bottom line is, FV's $5 off is the best price of the Spidy set right now if you don't mind the waiting...

yeah, in my frustration I didn't express myself well: I meant to add "where to get them" into the post too.

Thanks for the clarification on the coupons, and I have a $10 RC already printed out. :)
As a side note.... I am still on my Amazon Prime trial, if I pre-order now, but they don't ship until after my trial expires, will I still be able to get the free 2 day shipping?
I believe you still will since it will still be listed in a line item as free 2 day shipping, like once its entered in, the shipping method wont change, but to be honest I am in the same boat. I preordered Rock Band bundle, and used the Prime trial to get free 2 day shipping. Hope it works :)
