The stickered prices were $34.99 each. I paid something like $36 or $37 after tax.
 
Well, I was able to score two free blu rays from amazon, as I ordered a 60gig PS3 from them last night, decided to go with the second Pirates and Crank. And ordered Ninja Gaiden Sigma for a game. All for 596.xx shipped and two day delivery. thank god it will be at home at my parents once I get back from a vacation to memphis that turned into a nightmare from hell...

Got shipment notifications on used Volver Blu Ray, Silver Surfer Blu Ray, and Office Season 3, all ordered at around 9, and a backordered email regarding It's Always Sunny... ordered at 2:45. I'd like to put the smily here that looks like a boner but I can't find it.

Did anyone pick up Silver Surfer at Circuit City? Kudos to them. I got the bonus DVD that's included with SD releases as well as the 18x24 Wall Graffix (I think that's what it's called) of Jessica Alba. FOX deserves some props too -- the BD has all the special features that the double disc DVD does.

This might be the first time I don't feel ripped off for buy a BD in comparison to the SD counterpart.

Found Saw III clearanced at Target $8 today.

These are up for a blu-ray trade (found 2)...I'm more an animation or drama/comedy gal...this is tooo bloody for me ....

Are Target's clearance DVD's in a separate section, or was it just mixed in with the rest? I'll have to check mine out to see if they have any BRs in clearance.

Most likely it will drop in price to $23.95 when more info is released regarding the BR, like a cover art and stuff like that. Amazon usually sells new releases (movies, not TV shows, or trilogy packs) for that price.

No. Fox is stingy with their pricing. All of there BD releases are going to be $27+

I grabbed Babel on br from my Target the other day, clearanced to $7.xx. The price tag said something like "as-is", but it had never been opened (all security seals were still in place & it was still shrinkwrapped).

BTW, on another note - is Amazon's $27 the best price on the new Fantastic Four?

i refuse to pay more than 29.99 (and thats pushing it) for any domestic br or hd movie.... fuck instore prices. and forget about buying tv sets in store.. jesus christ...


silent hill -because it is superior to the domestic crapfest br version.
res evil 1- not out on br yet.. plus the case looks bad ass in red lol
res evil 2- not sure yet. already own br but heard that the import is an extended cut. hopefully they improve pq as well.
surfer- own on br (thanks fye glitch $14)
 
I suppose you have a point w/ RE1. What was the matter with Silent Hill on BR (aside from it being such a boring, boring, boring movie)?

And as a side note. The siren sounds In Silent Hill are awesome.

the reason for importing Silent hill would be because it looked fairly crappy. The german import HD DVD looks miles better than the BD version.

I really want Res evil 1 from Xploited the moment it comes in stock. I talked to Tony and he said that they were delayed 1 or 2 weeks from when they were originally supposed to come out (sept 27th). I'm going to get 1 for sure. (I'm going to wait until I get a review on 2 though. I'll get it in a heartbeat if it improves on the pq of the BD version which was fairly mediocre).
 
I don't understand why its abr. at BD (for blu-ray disc) instead of just BR for blu-ray.

Anyway, just be be slightly annoying to you nip-pickers...

im waiting for them to pop up on xploited as well. i wasnt too impressed with the domestic BD apocalypse. Let's see if they improve on it.

Where in the world are you importing those from? I know RE1 is out now in germany.. and silent hill is too.. but shipping is insane on amazon to get them over here..

And yes, the import RE2 is the extended cut, but its not worth reimporting it.
