Yayy, gasp one T is missing from the title. Has there been an Electric Boogaloo OTT yet? Like the sound of BoOTTy strikes back 2: electric boogaloo.
That girl would be really cute if she didn't look like jail bait.
She doesn't look that jail bait. Maybe 18 or 19.
I feel awkward not owning Lunar DS, but when I DID own it, I felt bad because it sucked. oy.
I bought it due to fanboyism and traded it in about two weeks later. Alas I still have the shiny two Lunar PS games complete and the Galeon puppet

Doesn't Rig have 4 or 5 copies of one of the Lunar games or some PS1 game like that?

Has anyone ever seen Wake Up, Ron Burgundy (the movie that was made out of unused fotage/storylines from Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy)??

I've owned it since it was released, and I wish more people (who love Anchorman) would see it.
i thinks its the one with the charlie brown type shirt.

i didn't know there were so many versions of them.
The one in the back that looks like he's about to eat some brains?

Yeah. I know the one with the white diamond on his shirt is the original and I don't remember watching the other guys so I'm pretty sure thats the one.

In the last OTT, toward the end, someone mentioned Saucy Jack not responding anymore, and that possibly he'd quit the Internet. There was also speculation that maybe he had taken a turn for the worse due to disease.

I just wanted to say that I think this incredibly strange, namely because the same thing happened to me once with another online group I used to hang around with. There was a well-known person that everyone gravitated towards, who ultimately announced one day that she had some sort of life-threatening disease. She then talked about the day she was going to stop coming onto the Internet altogether. At the time, we had a forum and a chat room that everyone would converse in, and she was a regular a both.

I can't make it sound too melodramatic, but she actually picked an exact minute she'd stop posting. One user created a countdown for the moment, and did something very eerie/cool with it: spliced in music from the old "Radio Zelda" website (the viral one that had been created to promote Majora's Mask), which cycled between a bunch of static and announcers saying things like "we've only got a few hours now...." Again, incredibly creepy, but also sadly alluring.

The night it happened, I was on my way out with a friend to Austin, TX to see his girlfriend. He had called me and said she was going to be in town (they both went to UT), and he wanted to go there to see her (I forgot why exactly he needed me to drive there, probably his car broke down or something). We were at his house with someone from the board/chatroom messaged me and explained the situation.

I'd known this girl's online personality for a while, and we'd chatted in several instances in the past. The messenger begged me to come into the chat room and talk sense into her. I did, and initiated a private chat with the girl for a long time.

She just kept reiterating over and over that she loved us all and that it would unfair of her to continue to come online everyday, when one day she might abruptly stop. "I don't want everyone to just all of a sudden ask where I am."

The countdown site was still running. We watched it slowly count down to zero.

In the chatroom, a furious flood of messages appeared - "Don't leave us" and "Come back" and "We love you" and other such things.

Then, just one message left.

"Disconnected."

It was one of the oddest experiences I've had online. Painful and serious, yet still...just....couldn't quite explain it.

I experienced something similar with a local radio station shut down. On their last night they played Stairway to Heaven as their last song. The announcer came on and said "Thank you for listening to 92.1 the rock station. Good night." After a few minutes of silence, nothing but static.

I'm not really sure why I just related both of these stories. I guess it's just that I seem to have an uncanny ability to be in a place where some user (of some sort) just disappears after a while, and there's too much speculation on what happened to them.

I dunno. I hope this post doesn't bore anyone, even if it is in the OTT.

Slightly related/last OTT: My school forced us to buy scan trons and blue books. I have several bad memories of being late to the exam, and having to run clear across campus to buy one of the goddamn things because I'd forgotten I didn't have any....

Edit: Brak was part of that other online community/crew/what-have-you. I don't know if he knows what I'm referring to or not, but I'm guessing he does.

God I feel sick this morning :puke: Anybody think I should take the day off? It would be nice day to have off since it's going to hit 70 degrees today.

Is 70 hot for you? Cuz I'm hitting 95+ every day down here.

Hell yeah. Take the day off, get a short nap so you feel better and then go enjoy the wonderful weather. :)

Hell yes. We get to enjoy the weather:

Lucky us, we essentially get thursday and friday off, due to the CSAP mandated tests that the sophmores have to take. Classes are broken up into two periods, first and second on thursday, and third and fourth friday; each class is 80 minutes- ten shorter than usual. Having first and fourth off myself, yesterday I got to go into class at 1:50 in the afternoon, until 3:10, but today I go in at the same time as everyone else, 12:20. But I get to leave early, at 1:40. :D Thank you, Guv'ner Owens for letting me have all of 80 minutes of classes these two days. This was the case last week, too.
How did you come up with that one?
Sub has a sixth sense about these things. Don't argue with his judgement - it's far better than ours could ever hope to be. :)

Daaaaamn Tila Nguyen is waaaaay hot.

And on another note, I can't believe Penn & Teller's Bullshit has been on for over 3 seasons now ... (They've done 30+ episodes apparently.)

Here's my random question of the day....What are your top five favorite Disney movies? I'm not sure whether I should include Pixar, or stuff like Nightmare Before Christmas, but I'm curious.
Here's my random question of the day....What are your top five favorite Disney movies? Just off the top of my head, not counting pixar/nightmare (Nightmare's the only one with a chance anyway):

The Emperor's New Groove

Mulan

The Lion King

Beauty & The Beast

and ...

Robin Hood

I know I've probably forgotten some greats.
Good. Her butt jingle was so hypnotic.
Damn... I'd have to go by what I actually care enough to own.

Disney, Animation only:

1) Aladdin
2) Lilo & Stitch
3) The Lion King

I think that's it.

Pixar:
1) Finding Nemo
2) Monsters, Inc.
3) The Incredibles

And while I'm not sure how they fit in, I like Tim Burton's claymation:
1) The Nightmare Before Christmas
2) The Corpse Bride
