Emperor's New Groove
Sword in the Stone
Lilo and Stitch
Robin Hood
....Can't think of a fifth.

I'm not including Pixar.
Here's my random question of the day....What are your top five favorite Disney movies? I'm not sure whether I should include Pixar, or stuff like Nightmare Before Christmas, but I'm curious.
Well, most people would say to include Pixar stuff, and live-action stuff like Pirates of the Carribean. Me? I'm a fanboy, so none of that for me. Strictly animated classics for me.

1. Snow White, hands down. Segei Eisenstein once said it was the greatest film ever made. And this guy made fucking Potemkin.
2. The Lion King. Even before I was into Disney, I remember being 10 or 11 and playing parts of that soundtrack nonstop.
3. Probably Pinocchio. It's one of those classics that just has everything. Plus, the idea of giving life to something inert ties into animation very nicely.
4. Hercules. 'Nuff said.
5. Toss-up between Bambi, Fantasia, Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh, and Alice in Wonderland. I'd lean towards Alice, but they're all great.

Whoa, I'm a goddamned nerd.

1. Lilo & Stitch
2. Aladdin
3. Robin Hood
4. Alice
5. Emporors New Groove

w/Pixar
1. Incredibles
2. Lilo & Stitch
3. Toy Story
4. Aladdin
5.Knick - Knack (Unedited short)

Hmmmm...Not much love for Mulan it seems.

I think excluding Pixar and non-cartoons, mine would go:

1) Aladdin
2) The Lion King
3) Mulan
4/5) Beauty and the Beast/Hercules

Wow, not much love for Robin Hood or Sword in the Stone.

1. Robin Hood
2. Sword in the Stone
3. Aladdin
4. Pinocchio
5. Emporer's New Groove

Going even further:
6. The Lion King
7. The Beauty and the Beast
8. Snow White
9. Alice in Wonderland
10. Dumbo
Wow, not much love for Robin Hood or Sword in the Stone.
It's been on most of the lists so far. :whistle2:s

Oh and my list wasn't really in a specific order.

I haven't seen a Disney animated film in ages. The last would have to be Emperor's New Groove, which I only saw in bits and pieces. The last one in it's entirety would have to be Mulan.

Watch Lilo & Stitch. Now.
Watch Lilo & Stitch. Now.
I watched part of the Lilo sequel that came out straight to DVD if that counts.
I watched part of the Lilo sequel that came out straight to DVD if that counts.
No sir it does not.

That would be like eating a horse apple and wondering if real apples taste the same.

Stitch: The movie doesn not count since it was an hour long ad for the TV show. Lilo & Stitch 2 kind of counts since it forgot everything about the show related crap...but the original L&S is a new Disney Classic.

Besides mine, it was only half, not most. ;) There's not much love for it in general.
I went to Target.

They had Robot Chicken.

I bought Robot Chicken.

I happy.
Holy crap. And to add to the happy...

I just found out I'm going to Europe for two and a half weeks in April.

Awesome!

With those guys from church you were talking about last week? Good luck, watch your cornhole.

Ditto *high five*
Ditto *high five*
Awesome! *high five* :O

I opened it up to check out the extra goodies, and there seems to be a nice amount of deleted scenes and animatics. I'm gonna start watching it tonight.

Yay for Target!
Besides mine, it was only half, not most. ;) There's not much love for it in general.
There are so many Disney "classics" that for it to even be in half of our top 5s is a feat.

And yes, that was actually very suprising to me ... I was wondering if it was only in everyone's mind because I put it on my list.

So you're suggesting it's worth the $17 admission?

How many eps are on it?

20 episodes.

I believe it's worth 17 dollars, but I really really enjoy the show. When you think of it as only 10 normal-show episodes for 17 bucks, it seems like less of a deal, but I'd say go for it.

It's one of those movies that the majority forget about until someone mentions it, then they talk about how good it was. It's been my favorite since I first saw it.

Also has commentary on each episode! More than worth it.

Laughs were had by all.

Now that new SMB has been delayed again (May 21st, according to the official site...) and it's on a Sunday, I wonder if a "DS Lite will be released on sunday 5/21" announcement is far off?

A boy can dream, I guess...

If they are to launch concurrently, I wonder if SMB was delayed to shore up production of the Lite.
Roflmao@Nigel and jmcc.

I wasn't aware anyone actually watched commentary on any DVD.
The commentary on the Futurama DVD's are great, Mission Hill has some good ones, as well.

I've seen every Simpsons commentary.
How do people possibly find Carlos Mencia (Ned Holness?) funny?
I don't enjoy his humor, but I do agree with his philosophy about cultural differences, so I give him a pass.

Recounting how I gave up on new Simpsons has made me depressed... It used to be so good...

King Kong fucking sucked. I want my 3 hours back.
How do people possibly find Carlos Mencia (Ned Holness?) funny?
He says funny shit. His new season is hilarious so far.

Quick CAGs of the OTT, how is the cliched way of saying that you want appraise the chef of a meal? Im having a bit of the tip of the tongue syndrome right now and just can't think of it. Really need it to.

Sword in the Stone is one of the best films to trip to. That is why it is on my list. If it was top 10 Fantasia and the second one would be on my list also.

Somebody find me a good book to read/listen to on Audible.com ... or just randomly type the name of a book you like (and I already have both Hop on Pop and Horton Hears a Who so you dont have to list those)

Tri-Posting ROCKS!

....

....

I'm so lonely....

....
....

I actually want to learn something today, and not just another "lets see what happends when ***** gets put in the microwave" test. I want to learn about another country, or about a Time of Importance (His-tor-ry?), or about a special skill (yet again, no microwave). I just dont know where to start.
