Borderlands 2 - Tiny Tina's Assault on Dragon Keep - 6/25 - 800 pts.

Terramorphous Peak is a named area so you probably still need that if you haven't fought him. Also the big loop in the Southern Shelf (the named area is called Ebonfloe IIRC) is easy to miss.
It goes into the inventory of the first character loaded after redeeming.
oops. After redeeming more of the skins I have to correct myself:

If you already created a character of that class, the skin will be placed in that character's inventory.

If you have not created a character of that class, the skin will be placed into the inventory of the character first loaded after redeeming.

Sorry for the mis-information. Hope I'm right this time. If not, I give up :)

Yeah, I asked about that earlier - but where is that exactly? I have 3 of the 4 areas complete. And I don't see Terra under the "Eridium Blight, Arid Nexus, and Sawtooth Cauldron" section which is the only one I have left. Maybe it counts for the "World Traveller" achievement, though, so once I get the smaller area one done I'll look into that.

I think you were right that the skin gets added to the inventory of whichever character you load up first. But the thing is, only one skin will get added each time you load. So if you enter all five codes at the same time, like I just did, you have to load your character five times in a row to get all five items. But the class of the character doesn't matter.

Terramorphous Peak is in Thousand Cuts IIRC.

He had some weapon he dropped it in front of me it had 9M damage and it sold for $64M. But I got XP for everything he killed with the weapon so I went from 19-21 in no time....thats crazy

Hope he didn't give you the graveyard.sav glitch modders can give people.

Yeah that's a modded weapon. I would stay away from anything modded. Check your saves and make sure you don't have the graveyard file and back up your characters to a USB if possible.

Go to your hard drive and look in your borderlands 2 file. If you have a slot that's named graveyard.sav then you have it. I don't know if deleting it rids you of any future problems.

If you don't have it, backup your characters to a USB if you have one. Using cloud won't work to backup FYI

Not sure if Im in right place but I see

BL2 Compatiblity Pack 198MB
Creature Slaughterhouse 60KB
Mechromancer 86MB
Premiere Club 60KB
Zero-Level 21-Sanctuary 72KB
saved game
Yea he wasn't a random random, he's been on list for a cpl of years just we never played the same games
It doesn't matter if he wasn't a random. There's something that tries to counteract the modders by activating some internal file called graveyard.sav( supposedly) when you mod a save file when your character dies it can never come back.

Somewhere buried in the code of the game is a Hardcore mode, similar to Diablo where if your character dies you lose them forever. Something the developers either decided against including, or were planning to complete and introduce in a future update. Modders figured out how to turn it on for their characters, which, bully for them, but because it's not a feature that was finished or tested, it turns out that the setting propagates to characters you play online with. Oops.

Thanks. That explains it. I redeemed skins for Zer0 and Gaige at the same time and must have loaded the characters in the same order as redemption. I had expected to see both skins in the first character I loaded.

Since you answered my questionable answer to your original question, did you in fact answer your own question?

Terramorphous Peak isn't needed for the achievement.

Questionception.

Farmed Knuckle Dragger and got his legendary to drop last night. A level 50 Twin Hornet with a nice scope. The effect chance must be way beyond what it says because this thing absolutely destroys everything that is susceptible to corrosive damage.

I'm totally farming that hornet once I hit the cap. My PT1 version has been effective for many levels and was seriously dominant early on.

Finally took the time to research how to replay echo logs in BL2. Now I know the answer :(

Don't know how many of these gems I've missed so far:

Just hit 50 with my commando - feels good! Was just doing some leisure grinding at caustic caverns - think that's maybe my favorite map.

Caustic Caverns' noncombat music is my favorite ambient music. I can listen to it for hours. I also dig the look of everything down there.

But I hate the threshers and the spiderants. Give and take it seems.

I had to youtube that song I liked it so much. Its called combat interlude. There's another song that played a lot during Oasis but didn't feel like looking for it.

Are there spiderants in Caustic Caverns? It's full of Varkids, or am I forgetting something?

Speaking of, the baby Varkids are a perfect way to boost your melee and weapon bayonet melee BAR stats.

Yeah, there are spiderants. You have to circle around the entire area to find them. They're right outside the room with the ladder where you open the door to unlock the shortcut back to the beginning.

Lol yeah I'm not jumping into the lava and loosing money f that. Just thought it was weird that they didn't have a stone ramp back up to the vending machines with the boss area just covered with weapons and gear (esp considering it's not Borderlands 1 where I have 47 slots). It's cool though oh well. Money doesn't seem to be an issue for me, have like 150K or something.

I played with my friend and he said for some reason his character now says he has over 1 million, pinky out, dollars. He doesn't know how that happened and I'm like shit son get on those slots pronto! Lol, anyone have a clue, did this happen with a co-op session from a modded Vault Hunter perhaps (as he said he played with a dude that showed him a bunch of cool things (one being the Minecraft easter egg) ). Luckily he doesn't have the graveyard save. Geez, gotta wear a condom to play Borderlands 2!

Not uncommon at all, especially if you're farming bosses and selling weapons each time. I was at 15 million at one point.

That's a really good track. I'm also a fan of the non-combat music in the Wildlife Preserve.

Yeah but he's not farming bosses, has played way less than I have.

There's a glitch where badass points go thru the roof. Maybe similar?

you can dupe-sell-rinse-wash-repeat, although he'd know if he did this.

I'd imagine he'd know if he had done the money glitch/trick. What could have happened is someone he played with could have done the money glitch/trick and then maybe got attacked by some rats that stole some of it and then he picked that up - it shows up as white money on the ground I think. At least I think this can happen - that someone else in your party can pick up something (including money) that was stolen from you and then dropped when the rat was killed?

I found the last area that was keeping me from 2 location achievements. It was the small area (called "Avie's Camp") that you get to by jumping off the Buzzard's Nest in Sawtooth Cauldron. It turns out there was a very small dark circle there but you can barely see it when zoomed out and since it is in the middle near a lake or other unaccessible area it is hard to spot.

Then I pushed on in my TVHM playthrough to get to the Wildlife Preserve to see if I could get me some Jimmy Jenkins. Man, that place was tough this time around. But when I finally got there I got not 1, but 2 Jimmy Jenkins ;). Then I went on to do the boss fight in that area and it took me about 6 or 7 tries to finally get that - hardest thing in the game so far (after beating it once and getting halfway through TVHM). I probably lost 200K in reconstruction costs (since I was over 500K when I got there).

So all I have left on the badass challenges are the trading/dueling ones and one final weapon challenge. I got those on my other character but now that my son doesn't play any more I don't have it on my newer (Gaige) character. I can just fire up his account and get those, assuming it lets him (at level 22 vs. my 44) join my game. The last weapon challenge I need is the long range kills with a rocket launcher. I just never use those. I suppose I'll have to fire up the game in normal mode to get that. In TVHM the shots usually don't kill and then after they start charging and I hit them a second time it doesn't count for "long range". I'm pretty sure I got everything else covered. I heard other people talking about the shotgun ones being the last ones most people would get. I got those a long, long time ago. The other ones I had to mop up at the end were the various shield and grenade ones. I got the amp shield done while I was looking for Jimmy.

There are also 2 hidden challenges. One for the shotgun, which is unlocked after completing level 5 of open wide (750 close range shotgun kills). Then one after completing level 5 of splash damage with the rocket launcher. I can't remember off hand the names if the hidden challenges but there are two more people don't know about.

Damn, really? Well, I'm probably pretty close on the close range shotgun kills. But I'm sure I'm nowhere near the splash damage one. I was hoping to be able to reset the challenges soon when they add that option in. I guess not any time soon...

I used the Caustic Caverns to get most of my point blank range shotgun kills and splash damage rocket kills. Playthrough 1 with a level 50 character and high level equipment makes killing the varkids pretty easy. Save and quit lather rinse repeat. Tundra express would also work nicely, but as I said before I really like the Cavern's ambient music.

I got the splash damage one pretty quickly. I liked going into Bloodshot Hideout for some variety. And launcher ammo is dirt cheap there. As soon as I unlocked the other launcher challenge I was at level 3 in it. At least it keeps track of what you've done with it the whole game (even though it is not shown) and you don't have to start it at that point.

But I can see Caustic Caverns being great for the shotgun one. You don't even have to reload - just do the big circuit round and round. By the time you get back to the beginning everything will have respawned. Plus you get some threshers and spiderants for variety. At this point (level 43) I can just run up to everything there and shoot it in the face ;). I grinded there for about 2 hours tonight and just hit 300 kills (level 4). So just 450 more to go . That one really sucks. The launcher splash damage one wasn't nearly as bad - knocked that out in 45 minutes or so. This one will take another couple hours. And then that is it, right? I have every other non-location challenge at level 1 complete or better. I just don't even want to bother if there is another hidden one that I need to deal with.

Finally got around to beating the final two bosses. Not very tough, did it one try. Started my Maya's TVHM and a secondary game with Gaige.

thanks for the code.

also, spooky shift codes are still working. just DL'd it and redeemed in the game...tricky wonderful bastards gave different classes different skins. Zero has Sal's, Axton had his own, and Gaige had Maya's etc.

Maybe it's just me, but I feel that I am done with this game. I have beaten the game in both playthroughs and done all of the side missions. I spent days with others farming to get all the good weapons and haven't seen anything better. Don't have the DLC yet, but from what I have been told, it doesn't take long to beat. Between AC3, Forza Horizon, and waiting to play the campaign in Halo 4, I'm thinking of dumping the game now to get the most TIC, and pick it up later because we all know it will be cheaper and more DLC will be out.

*scratches head*

Does anybody else keep getting these shift giveaway skins in their inventory every time they start up a game? I'm pretty sure the last 3 or 4 times I've started up there is one in my inventory that I've already used and have to drop it.

Not me. Have not seen them in inventory since unlocking.

For anyone dealing with the BAR reset bug, here's the latest 'official' post on the subject from the GBX forums:

Just wanted to chime in here and let you all know that we have some additional things in the works to address the Badass Rank issue -- this includes bringing the previous changes made on PC to PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 along with some efforts to potentially restore some of the lost data. Those restoration efforts are still in development so we're wary to provide any specifics on that until everything's been tested and finalized, but wanted to make sure you knew they were underway.
