Borderlands discussion - Is Moxxi hot or not?

I still have underdome stuff to do as well. I think I need some friends to make it through that however. It seems like I always die before I finish it.
 
Easiest (and most boring) way to tackle Underdome solo is to start a splitscreen game on a secondary Live account and have that new character host (they'll be around level 5) while you control your main account. You will absolutely mow down everything in your path. Unfortunately it's still time consuming as hell.

I've still only done 2 of the 3 short ones, and one of the big tourneys.

I finished all of it and after doing those damn larger tournaments I can't see myself going back to that game again unless I have a friend that absolutely needs me and has no one else.

Yeah. I was suppose to have a friend to help out with it, but he decided to go on head and do it by himself. I haven't touched the game since

I'm having surgery thursday to fix a torn ACL and MCL, but after a couple of days I will be able to play most anytime for several weeks.

Well, urmomlikesme has a Lv.30 Soldier, so if we got him, he'd be by far the lowest AND we'd have 4 people. Unless Ryuukishi is lower than that.

I have no idea. Sometime tonight I guess. I have no idea what needs to be played, but I hope it's on Playthrough 2 so I can get that extra Skill Point.

Alright, just before we start. Are we doing the Prove Yourself mission first or we going straight into the larger challenges?
 
It's not so much about inexperience as much as it's about how much of the wound do you cover up before the salt is put on it. Underdome is by FAR the worst thing in Borderlands because it scales to the host. The only reason I got everything done with my Japanese account as host.

Somehow that got it all of the Zombie Island achievements as well.

I have no idea what you're talking about. Does the host need to have done this beforehand because I haven't played any of the dlc

If you haven't played the DLC yet, then yes

The Prove Yourself mission is a smaller version of the larger challenges

5 rounds, 5 waves each arena

Opps. Sorry! Should be a breeze then assuming the enemies are going to be all around my level and you guys are like twice my level.

I did the 3 larger challenges splitscreen with a 2nd account that was level 1. The split screen sucked but being level 60+ vs like level 10s it went fast.

All this talk got me to go back and do my second large tourney. Did the split screen thing and paused it around Round 14 and came back to it a few hours later.

One more to go for 100% completion! Now I'm actually looking forward to playing Moxxie. lol

You need to join a Fort Knoxx game of someone who's not glitched. Never glitched it myself, but that's what I read when I was learning how to farm armory.
 
I've read that as well, I just not sure how easy it is to join someone else is game go over there, plow to that point unless someone is doing those quests.

I hate taking over someone else is game to do my own quests.
 
Holy crap are these moxxi challenges boring. It was fun at first, but 20 rounds 5 waves each. It took me 4 hours to do one of the challenges with me dozing off half way through.

Gah I got 2 more to do.
 
Two skills points if you do the short tournaments on both playthroughs... and the achievements.

They really should have made the gun prizes better to make up for the lack of EXP.

you can still earn EXP from doing challenges, i.e. kill 10,000 enemies w/shotguns etc...I only wish they had a save feature so you don't have to do the entire long challenge in one go.
 
Gah, So I'm using Brick/Beserker and I reached level 33, I think my game is glitched because every time I go to the objective

it says it's in a rock. Is there any way to fix this?
