I originallyy saw the news here: http://screwattack.com/videos/Hard-News-032510, but a quick google search on either game in the google news section will pull up more info on either game. I havn't played the Mass Effect series but I know how popular it is. I have played the entire KH series (just started 358/2), and I can say I can't wait for this one! Not like we didn't expect either game to come out, but good to know they'll both be sooner rather than later.

How reliable is that information? If the KH3 info is true, I'll definitely be a happy camper. We already know Birth By Sleep is coming out this year (hopefully), but nothing beats having a true sequel announced.
 
Did we really need confirmation on these titles? I mean, we pretty much knew they were coming...

I agree with the Destructoid author though, the KH series is getting too convoluted. I mean, if 358/2 Days was any indication of where the series is going, then no thanks on more KH spin-offs. I wonder what he means it depends on FFXIII Versus though... what depends on the Versus? The release date? Multiplatform time constraints?

Can't complain about more Mass Effect since that series is actually focused and improving.

Kingdom Hearts 3 though i don't think we knew.

is KH3 gonna be Sony Exclusive?

I think that's what the whole 'it depends on FFXIII Versus' thing is. If Versus (which is PS3 exclusive) doesn't fare well, I'm guessing he's going to take KH3 multi-plat. Otherwise, he'll probably keep it on the PS3.

Here's to hoping it's multi platform. I'll be playing on PS3, I just like to keep playing series on consoles I started with, but a friend of mine went 360 only this gen and he's a huge KH player so I'm hoping multi platform for his sake.
 
I not excited by Kingdom Hearts 3. The series stopped the focus on what made it good, which was Disney & FF characters. Now they're more concered with their own crappy little story.

There really wasn't a need to confirm Mass Effect 3. Bioware has always said they want it to be a trilogy. Still, I can't wait.

I always thought the gameplay and the story was crap. One of the most overrated titles in gaming.

Rather than a KH3, I'd like to see Disney team up with Nintendo and make a game where all their controlled franchises collide. The Nintendo characters, Disney, Marvel, Muppets, etc. That's a game I'd be excited for.
 
Never liked Kingdom Hearts either. But just about every girl I know that plays video games do. I did do all the gummy ship stuff for my GF in 2, and it was fun till I got too good and pwned everything =P

Wouldn't be surprised if KH3 was on the wii. Can't see it on the 360, but stranger things have happened.
ME3 was a given, back when the first one came out and it was a confirmed trilogy.

Not a chance. It would be one thing if this was some spinoff off game. But this is going to be a main game so it will definitely be released for the PS3(And maybe a 360 release if M$ hands them lots of money).

Why would it "definitely" be released on PS3? The Wii is loads more popular and waaaaay more profitable. They could crank out another KH3 using a modified KH2 engine and it would sell like GANGBUSTERS.

I see your point about it not being on 360, but if it's going to see a PS3 release, there's no reason it won't see release on the 360 (at least in every territory outside the US). They'll need all the help they can get recuperating all the development funds they pour into the PS3 version.
 
Well, I think when people say "Kingdom Hearts 3" they refer to a next gen Kingdom Hearts. If "Kingdom Hearts 3" would release on the Wii, not many would care and want "KH:Next Gen". If it releases on the Wii it will be: Kingdom Hearts: Micky Wave Party
 
KH3 would do well on the wii, very well, especially with good motion plus features.
They just have to do it right and market it well.

Personally, I don't care. I have Wii360, so hopefully it'll be on one of them. Either motion control or better graphics. I never even beat the second one or any portable ones, so not even a big want for me. :p ME3 on the other hand....can't wait.

No, they would just want a KH3. This isn't a Madden or GTA type game. People want more of the same when it comes to the KH series.

KH3 on the Wii would be KH3, it wouldn't be some nonsensical crap.
