Agreed 100%. If you want the first and second most powerful positions in the country, you had better be open to nearly every interview a respectable news outlet requests.
If it's already getting this heated after 20 days, there's going to be an explosion in the next 40. I can easily see some of the press losing their shit and professionalism on air 3 days before election day, and Palin still hasn't given a proper interview.
To share the blame however, the Republican Party hasn't exactly been discreet with their hopes of keeping her out of the spotlight, rescheduling/canceling debates, and sneaking her AND McCain under the radar to Election Day.
I imagine at this point, their Campaign adviser is watching Adam Sandler's Click over and over again in a desperate effort to recreate the plot.

Biden has been speaking.....he just doesn't get coverage.....kinda hard to get coverage when its a black man, a woman and a person they are linking to a very unpopular president/war hero.

Kind of like I said in the other thread, Palin isn't stupid. But neither is the McCain camp. They know the dangers of letting someone so inexperienced (comparatively) in the public too much. The media will chew her up like a pitbull on a rag-doll and they'd be finished.
Then, that only compounds the mental stress probably going on inside Palin. She knows what the Republicans are doing. She knows they are afraid she'll say something embarassing or wrong. So when she is allowed to go into the public, she's super self-conscious, and it shows.

I almost hope Obama gets elected so we can all watch him fail miserably together as a family. He's gonna shit when he has to make choices that affect the country. I often ponder and observe these questions.
It's become clear to me that when one is aligned with a particular party, they almost always try and give credit to their people when good things happen and give blame to their opposition when bad things happen.
The semantics of who to credit and who to blame in almost all headlines is pretty complicated, and fun to watch each side scramble for credit or finger pointing.
So to address the gentlemen's post you were responding to, I think when Obama is president the exact same thing will happen that's always happened: Good things will happen, that both Democrats and Republicans will try to take credit for. Bad things will happen that Democrats and Republicans will blame each other for.
This amusement is one of the small condolences we get for having to suffer through a 1.2 party system.

The only thing iv seen give Bush credit for that was good and I couldnt instantly nod my head and say ya thats true was his aid in Africa. Bush has given alot of money and started alot of programs to help the African people in a time of need. Then again....he has dragged his knuckles like the primate he is on Darfur....soooo ya.
